Once again, I present this months edition of my much maligned predictions. As usual it is littered with unflattering comments, unjustified criticism and cheap shots. In September I went 33-7 in predictions running my total to 3472-985 0r 77.8% correct.
HALL/THERON. I’m barred from predicting Theron fights
ZEIGLER/MONER Zeigler is on of the up and coming flyweights. She made her FCBA debut in January and has a 8-2 record with her losses being to Lavigne and M.B.Brown. Moner has a 15-10 career record and has won six of her last ten. I have to go with Zeigler to add another W to her record.
WINNICK/KNIGHTLEY. The forty-five year old Winnick has a career record of 34-20, but has lost six of her last ten. Knightley has a career record of 20-34-2
And has lost seven of her last ten. Knightley is eight years younger, but more importantly she is three inches taller. It’s knightley’s height advantage that makes me think Knightley will win
MAYBERRY/CABELLO. Mayberry has lost six of her last ten. Cabello has also lost six of her last ten, but she is ten years younger and two inches taller. That’s good enough to beat Mayberry
E.ROBERTS/LAVIGNE. Roberts has won seven of her las ten with recent wins over Cicchino, Pugh and Watson. Lavigne is now on our Hall OF Fame watch list. She has also won seven of her last ten. Age and height do not appear to be factors. The two have fought three times with Roberts winning two. I go with Robert to make her record against Lavigne 3-1.
UTGAARD/J.LAWRENCE. Last year Utgaard was in the Diamond Boxing Tournament. It was a disaster for her as she lost six of seven. She has lost seven of her last ten. Lawrence was once the welter champ and a constant member of the top ten. Then starting in late 2020, her career went to hell as she lost thirteen of fifteen fights. She is 1-7 this year. I have a feeling that Lawrence is ready to make a comeback. Lawrence will win.
N.FISHER/CORRIGAN Fisher made her debut last New Years Eve and celebrated by beating Ashley Benson. The year. she had gone 3-3. Corrigan has a 16-6 record and has won seven of her last ten. We have her on out top ten lightweight watch list. I believe Corrigan wins by a KO6.
C.MENDES/E.WATSON. Mendes has won seven of her last ten and is 5-1 for the year with that loss being to Cameron it a title fight. Watson is on our Hall of Fame watch list although it will be a year before she enters assuming the fights go the right way. She is 8-2 for the year with her losses being to Olivia Holt and Emma Roberts. I am going with Watson to win
O.HOLT/L.COLLINS Holt is a two time flyweight champion. She has a 41-11 record, but is 6-4 in her last ten. Collins is on a roll. She has held the flyweight title once. She is 15-0 for the year. but hasn’t had a title fight offer. Collins is three inches taller, but that hasn’t helped her in the past. The two have fought twice with Holt winning both. Things will be different this time, Collins will win. I have lost a little respect for Holt who brags about holding the dumbest title in the FCBA.
D’ERRICO/RICHARDSON D’Errico, who is now 54 years old, takes on the 55 year old Richardson. D’Errico returned to activity last year after a nineteen year layoff. She is 3-2 since her return to the FCBA. Richardson has had one fight in the last fourteen years. That was in 2019 which she lost. She will lose this one also
MORETZ/F.ALLEN Moretz has won five of eight this year and won seven of her last ten. She lost a title fight to Cameron is August. Allen is 4-2 for her career. She is 1-1 for the year with that loss being to Lavigne. Age and height are not factors, but experience is. Moretz will win
LOWNDES/H.KING. JMD
DOBREV/M.CYRUS. This will be Dobrev’s 97th bout on her way to the Hall Of Fame. She already has the required win ratio. She is 6-1 for the year after losing to Kosarin last month. Cyrus us 5-5 in her last ten but Is 4-1 for the year. Her one loss was to Hudgens. Age is not a factor. but Dobrev is two inches taller. Dobrev wins as she edges closer to the Hall.
M.KELLY/CULPO. Kelly was inducted into the Hall Of Fame last April then she promptly lost her next fight. She is 3-4 for the year but has won seven of her last ten. Culpo has a career record of 5-3. She lost her last fight to Minka’s stablemate, Nina Dobrev. Culpo is slightly larger, but is twelve years younger.
I have to go with youth. Culpo
GOMEZ/SANTORO. Gomez has won seven of her last ten and is 3-2 for the year losing a bantam title fight to Deny Rose. Santoro has won eight of her last ten with her losses being to Bella Thorne and Ana Taylor-Joy. To me, this is a 50/50 fight. I will take a chance on Gomez.
KUBICKA/DELEVINGNE. Kubicka has won seven of her last ten. Delevingne has lost nine of her last ten. Kubicka is on watch to enter our top ten lightweight list.
I have no doubt that Kubicka will win’
VISMARA/COWAN. JMD
BRESLIN/ORTEGA. Breslin has won seven of her last while fighting pretty good opposition. Ortega made her debut last month beating Parrish. Age and height are not factors, but experience is. Breslin has had twenty-three fights and has won sixteen of them. Breslin has the experience and will win’
KHALIFA/D.LEE. JMD
LEOTTA/S.LYNN. Leotta has won five of her last ten, fighting top competition. Her losses were to Kostex. Lawley, Righetti, Lively and Hannah Ferguson. Lynn
Has lost eight of her last ten also against good opposition. but not as good as Leotta’s. Leotta in seven
CICCHINO/M.B.BROWN. Cicchino has been busy girls. She has had thirty-six fights in less than two years and she has won twenty seven of them. Brown has had won all nine of her fights. I think this will be Browns first loss.
KLUM/SABATINI. Klum doesn’t fight much. She has a 1-9 record going back to 2020. Sabatini has a 6-6 record for the year and has lost four of her last five with losses to Decker, Rhoda, and DiDonato. Sabatini will get back on track with a win in six.
BOCCIA/SWANEPOEL. Boccia has won nine of twelve this year after losing a title fight to Lawley last month. Since the beginning of 2020 Swanepoel has managed to win three of her last seven. She shouldn’t be much of a problem for Boccia who will should win in five.
PAUSINI/J.LOPEZ. How long is this going to be allowed to continue. Pausini now has a 0-30 record. Lopez picked a certain win
KATIC/HSIEH. Katic has a 10-2 record for the year and is in the running for misnamed Jaguar Tournament. Her list of opponents has not been particularly
Impressive. Hsieh is a bantam with a career record of 9-5. Those five losses have come in her last ten bouts. Katic has a four inch height advantage. She will win.
PELAS/PIMDER Pelas has a career record of 9-13 and has lost six of her last ten. Her biggest win was over Khalifa. Pinder has a career record of 3-18. Recently she has been fighting in the BBU, but she 1-6 in the FCBA since the beginning of 2021. Pinder is two inches tall, but Pelas is blonde and Pinder is not. Being blonde is enough for Pelas to win.
TIGER FREE/SINK. Tiger Free has won eight of her last ten against average opponents. Sink made her debut in April and is 1-2 after winning her last fight against Danielle Rose Russell. Free has the experience and is two inches taller/
I think Tiger Free will win.
A.LYNCH/GARDNER Lynch has a career record of 45-20, but she is having a poor year (for her) being 6-5. Recently she has lost two to Khalifa and one to
Lind and has dropped to 24 in Boxing Worlds Bantam rankings. Gardner has lost six of her last ten but has won her only fight this year. Boxing World has her ranked at 37, That sounds right. Lynch will win.
REN/SAGRA Ren is 8-3 this year with a win over Kendall Jenner. Sagra has won six of her last ten and she is no easy touch. I have to go with Ren. but a Sagra win wouldn’t surprise me.
PERRY/STRAHOVSKI Strahovski, now 40, is a member of the Hall Of Fame. She been basically a 50/50 fighter over the last three years. I am not allowed to say anything negative about Perry so I can’t say anything other than I hope Yvonne flattens her.. Yvonne is blonde. Although she lost to Perry years ago, I hope she wins and will so predict.
KLOSS/KOSTEX. Kloss who got off to a great start years ago, now has a 25-28 career record and has lost seven of her last ten. Kostek has a 21-11 record and has won seven of her last ten. Her losses to Hannah Ferguson, Tahnee Atkinson and Lawley. She will add Kloss to her win record
PALICKI/DEL TORO. Del Toro is undefeated in eighteen bouts. She has fought which we shall term a “Front Street” schedule. This will be the biggest fight of her career by far. Palicki is a three time lightweight champ and two time welter champ. She has a career record of 45-41 and has lost seven of her last ten against top welters. Palicki is almost three inches taller, but is ten year older. Palicki has been one of my favorites. I hate to bet against her so I will say she will hand Del Toro her first loss.
KOSARIN/CHOPRA. Kosarin has a career record of 42-17. She has won six of her last ten and one of those losses was to Chopra. Chopra has won eight of her last ten and holds the Princess of the Ice Hotel title. No big deal. The two have fought three times with Chopra winning two. Kosarin is two inches taller and is about thirteen years younger. I have to go with Kosarin to even the series.
LIVELY/BOCCIA. Lively held the lightweight title six years ago. She is 8-3 this year with losses to Tatangelo, Kendall Jenner and Tahnee Atkinson. On the positive side, she has beaten Upton and Leotta. Boccia has has won nine to twelve this year. She lost a title fight to Lawley in the September PPV. Weight and age are not factors. I think Boccia triumph.
DIDONATO/TELES. DiDonato has been busy this year. She has engaged in eighteen fights winning eleven. She had two lightweight title fights and lost both.
DiDonato has had more fights this year than Teles has had in her three year career. Teles has a 9-6 career record, but has lost three of her last four. I believe DiDonato will win because it’s not a title fight.
OLSEN/TREVEJO. Olsen has been a dominate fighter over the last three winning thirty five while losing only eight and has won eight of ten this year. She held the bantam title this year before losing it to Reinhart. Trevejo has only had nine fight losing three. Of the three losses two have come in her last two fights, losing to Demi Rose and Larson. This fight will run her loss streak to three.
SWIFT/FRAREGRADA. For the Mistress of the Body Saddle. Swift is another who has been busy this year having fourteen fights winning nine ,but she has won five of her last six. Those five fights were agains Merritt and Didonato handing DiDonato three KO losses. Fradegrada has had eighteen fights this year, but only ten in the FCBA where her record is 6-4. She’s beaten Yvonne Strakhoski and Eden Cohen twice. She been more successful in the BBU where she is 7-1. This is not the BBU. Swift will retain the Mistress title.
BELLA THORNE/DEMI ROSE JMD TITLE
B.DECKER/VAN DER GRAAF. JMDD TITLE
CAMERON/BASSINGER For the Unified Flyweight Title This will be Cameron’s fifth defence. She has had an impressive run so far. Bassinger is coming off a big win over Michelle Williams, but she is 2-2 for the year, losing to Cicchino and Vanessa Hudgens. Cameron will retain her title with a successive fifth defense
REINHART/LAMBORGHINI. For the Unified Bantamweight Title. This will be Reinhart’s fifth defense. She has 33-2 record and has won her last eleven. Lamborghini has won seven of her last ten with seven of those ten fights being at JMD. This fight is not JMD. Reinhart retains her title
AGDAL/L.JAMES For the Unified Lightweight Title. This will also be Agdal’s fifth title defence. She is 9-0 for the year. She has beaten DiDonato, Kylie Jenner and Taylor Hill in title defense. James is undefeated in the fourteen fights of her career. She has wins over Kendall Jenner and Taylor Swift in her last two fights.
I think that James will strip the title from Agdal,
UPTON/LAWLEY. For the Unified Welterweight Title. This will Lawley’s third title defense. She beat Hannah Ferguson and Boccia in her defenses. Upton is a good friend on mine so I have to admit I am prejudiced in this fight. Kate has won eleven of thirteen this year. She’s a four time Welter champ. Like all of Robyn’s opponents, she has a height problem for her opponents. I think Kate can handle it. Upton will be the new welter champ.
