BEFORE:
We’re LIVE from the Tauron Arena Kraków, located off Stanisława Lema in what’s a fully packed house tonight! The Vixens continue their international tour but hit a roadblock recently when they attempted to go further East, what with war waging in neighboring Ukraine and Russia being off limits for the time being.

Still, we’ve journeyed as far east as we could, and find ourselves at least 800 km from the war-torn border, which means the competitors will be as safe as possible tonight; not accounting for busting each other up in the ring, of course!

And there’s plenty of busting up to do, with the VIX card involving plenty of celebrities further east of the border.

“It’s a tragedy, but we’re here to put on a show,” Alyssa Lynch says first with a nod and smile. “No disrespect to my opponent tonight, but I’m not about to let her win. Certainly not in our host country.”

Alyssa is of course referring to Vita Sidorkina, a Sports Illustrated model of recent years and a native blonde of Russia. Vita clearly faces an icy welcome the moment she steps into the press hall, but the reporters and fans at least give her the silence to say her piece.

“I’m not here to talk about right or wrong. I’m here to box, and win,” Vita says, in a thick Russian accent. “We are proud Russians, but I for one am grateful for the invitation to fight in this country, filled with our brothers and sisters.”

Vita strides in a little taller than Lynch, but the Vixen is not intimidated, and meets her face-to-face with a raised fist and upturned chin. Alyssa has been busy in the gym ever since losing out on the Princess of the Beach tournament, getting knocked out by Mia Khalifa in the second round. Since then, she’s set her sights once again on the title, but it’s a long road ahead that’s filled with many perils.

Ladies separate without further incident, and only Vita has a wide smile on her face as she turns to face the camera flashes, clearly enjoying the spotlight despite the less-than-warm welcome earlier. Politics aside, all proceeds from tonight’s event will go to the refugees and humanitarian organizations, and we hope you’ll enjoy the rest of tonight’s matches!

Hours later, Alyssa’s in the ring, wearing a simple black sports bra top and white short boxing trunks. She’s stretching in her corner and waving a pair of red gloves to the fans. Vita is on the opposite side of the ring, fully decked out in a baby blue bikini, her blonde hair tied up into a messy ponytail. She’s wearing white gloves for this contest. There’s the wave of the referee’s hand and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Girls get into the thick of the action, CLASHING in the center of the ring in a hail of punches! Vita wanted to take things easy and slow but looks shocked when Lynch LASHES at her face with a surprise hook outta nowhere, which stuns her throughout the first minute! Vixen not giving a f*ck about her foe’s welfare, continues to step in and bash hooks off the Russian’s arms, driving her back several steps. Vita, however, has Russian blood and pride, holds her ground seconds later and bangs a right hand off the top of Alyssa’s head, throwing her to the side with an equal grunt. Ladies continue punishing each other throughout the rest of the round, though Lynch ends the valiant effort with several punches straight into the Russian blonde’s stomach, driving the air from her lungs and edging her out in terms of points.

ROUND 2:
Sidorkina’s pissed off, however, initiating the pain this time with an early jab-jab-cross combo delivered straight to Alyssa’s face, whipping her head back before the Vixen knows what’s happening. The Russian has both speed and a reach advantage on her side, and continues targeting Alyssa from afar and not letting her get in close to brawl. Lynch takes another punch to the cheek, which craters inwards, before a wild swing back lands on Vita’s arms. The Vixen has trouble this time landing her punches, and opts to trade leather with the Russian from afar for the remainder of the round. Good and bad, as Sidorkina’s emboldened to land even more combos off the arms and body, but Lynch does manage to return fire and snag the nose and lips with her leather gloves. Wide round to Vita still, who imposes her will this time.

ROUND 3:
Ladies trade leather in the first minute, staying away and launching jabs and devastating cross-hands either straight into the arms or driven into the nose to earn several grunts. Vita still has the advantage of a longer shoulder length, however, manages to stun Alyssa with another powered cross that crunches into her lips, shocking the Vixen and making her sway suspiciously backwards. Vita pushes in for the kill, drawing boos from the hostile crowd as she drives Alyssa backwards with more punches landed all over her body and arms. Lynch looks like she’s in trouble for a sec, but her experience is enabling her to cover up her more vulnerable parts, her arms blocking and intercepting most of the attacks with ease. Instead, she stuns Vita back with a hook outta nowhere to the chin, which pushes the blonde’s head to the side with a grunt. Vita still tries to finish her foe off, returning with a hook of her own that misses by a swerve, and Alyssa ends the round with a final snap uppercut to the jawline for the Russian’s efforts. Close round still goes to Sidorkina by our estimates, but it’s also clear the Vixen has managed to turn the tides.

ROUND 4:
Vita still not giving up the chase, rushing in on her long legs and immediately swinging for Alyssa’s head. That last round didn’t count for the Free Agent, and the blonde beauty is doing everything in her power to stake her claim on this foreign soil. Most of her hooks are missing overhead or just inches away as Alyssa bobs and weaves, her headwork fluid and focused, before she bangs back with a snap hook to the chin or forehead, each time sapping the blonde of more and more strength. Vita takes another blast across the face, which finally appears to disorient her. Lynch pushes in slowly still, hits more leather off the toned tummy to lower that guard, before bashing another overhand off the cheek and temple to send Vita reeling!! Russian girl’s in trouble as she gets tossed into the nearby ropes, hanging on briefly before Lynch is already upon her with more uppercuts delivered straight to the stomach, bowling her over, and Vita is ALREADY on the way down but is aided by a final hook across the face!! DOWN SHE GOES, looking absolutely STUNNED on all fours! Referee gives her a ten-count to recover but even with the help of the ropes, Sidorkina barely makes it off her knees!! There’s the sound of the bell, which signals this fight OVER!!

Official Decision: Alyssa Lynch defeats Vita Sidorkina via KO4!

AFTER:
“Proud of what we accomplished today,” Alyssa says to reporters later with a smile and nod. “Not proud of what’s going on across that border, but I’m happy to have delivered the first win and proceeds to help a charitable cause. Once the borders open up, I’m happy to face Vita again. For now, I’m heading to the showers!”

Alyssa beams, her face glistening under the stadium lights. She gives one more wave to the fans before climbing out of the ring and heading backstage. As for Vita, her effort is met with a smattering of applause, the Eastern European boxing fans known for their courtesy and hospitality despite the recent troubles.

She slowly recovers her senses in the corner, before leaving the arena without any comment or further word. Something tells us this Sports Illustrated model would love to go another five rounds, if she could!
