With our feet finally underneath us and our first four fighters having some very encouraging success thus far, the Celebrity Wrestling Federation has decided to double our stable! Please welcome the following ladies to the CWF!!
Sara Jean Underwood
Our first expansion into the Bantamweight Division is a bit of a reclamation project. We are of the belief that it is virtually impossible to succeed in this league if you are not a managed fighter. Without access to the resources of a stable, gym, trainers, and most importantly a manager who is looking out only for your best interests, fighters don't stand a chance. Free agents are little more than fodder in most cases, forced to accept any fight that wafts in their general direction in order to keep their heads above water. Some might see a 3-15 record, but we see the signs of tremendous potential. A natural for JMD bouts at the Fly and Bantam class, we believe that Sara has the chops to climb back to 0.500 and thrive from there. Her work ethic is tremendous, and we hope the results come to match.
Katrina Bowden
Along those same lines, we have also added Katrina Bowden. Similar to Sara, Katrina has never been given a chance. Fighting once a year is virtually useless, and we hope that with regular action Katrina can become a force, or at the very least a thorn in the side of the Lightweight Division.
Maria Kanellis
Maria Kanellis might as well be a brand new fighter. With only two career bouts, the boxing tape on Maria is non-existent. Fortunately, she's put more than enough out there in the ring. Maria's work ethic is tremendous, as is the case with any former WWE Diva. With her athleticism, technical skill, and adaptability, we're confident Maria will finally erupt and make some noise after lying dormant for years.
Charlotte McKinney
Lastly, we're absolutely thrilled to announce a signing that will bring the Celebrity Wrestling Federation into the Top 20 for the first time. While we're confident some of the other names we've amassed will eventually scratch and claw their way into the Title Belt picture at Light and Fly, Charlotte is there now. The #13 ranked Welterweight is already fighting for the JMDD Title next month, and we're certain that this will be the first of MANY opportunities for Charlotte. As a new, but hungry organization, we could not be more thrilled to align ourselves with such an accomplished and talented fighter. With a bright 2022 thus far, Charlotte is a star on the cusp of a meteoric rise.
