BEFORE:
Hello, sports fans! We’re LIVE in the Oberfrankenhalle, an indoor arena situated in the quaint little town of Bayreuth, Germany, a little over three hours from downtown Berlin. The place is packed with fans local and abroad alike, who have paid good money to see the latest leg of the VIX International Tour take place.

Up first is the indomitable, ever-spritely Nell Tiger Free, who may be facing a tough crowd as the opening act against Hollywood darling Elle Fanning. Fanning herself may not call herself a German by nationality, but the actress has German blood flowing through her veins. The tall and thick blonde also has a good four inches on her opponent tonight, which might come in handy to offset the lack of experience.

Nell’s taken on tougher challengers in the past, but none quite like this, and the two ladies meet in the center of the ring to much fanfare and calls to get the event started. Nell’s looking Elle up and down, dressed in a jade green sports bra and white boxing trunks, complete with white gloves. Fanning is making her debut here but she stands steady, red gloves on her hips and looking toned in a yellow sports top and black short trunks.

There’s the touch of the gloves for both enterprising women, and with the sound of the bell, HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Nell with an early response, giving the challenger trouble even though she’s at a significant reach disadvantage. Elle is busy protecting herself in her debut match but is letting Nell shoot and fire punches into her space willy nilly. The tall blonde keeps getting pushed about the ring, taking another shot to the face and then her body pounded on further, as Tiger Free shows off her expert work on the bags. Round ends and Elle has barely made an impact, both figuratively and metaphorically, barely landing small jabs on Nell’s face throughout the round.

ROUND 2:
Nell continues to lead the dance, but not by much. First half sees the same actions by the Vixen, who pushes in with a focused look on her face. She dodges an early hook from Elle, then plows another hook into the stomach to throw her back once more. Fanning just not as seasoned or practiced as her counterpart, winces and flies backwards on those longer legs. Nell continues to pound away on her arms and sides, still dodging and weaving around Elle’s return fire. Last minute however sees Elle stand her ground and shove leather back punch for punch, as the Hollywood actress nails Nell on the forehead with a stiff right hand, then continues to batter the smaller girl with her superior firepower. Close round still goes to Tiger Free, who wants to try and end this fight early.

ROUND 3:
Elle not allowing the finish to happen, though, and staves another of Nell’s assaults off with a sudden flurry of lefts and rights. Nell looks surprised as those pasty jabs come sailing in towards her head, takes one on the cheek and then is forced to cover up from the rest. Fanning has regained some confidence, now circling left and right and continuing to pester the shorter girl with her long jab. Nell not giving up, however, ducks under another wild hook and plants a hook of her own off the ribs, but is having more difficulty landing leather off the chin or face. Elle takes her first win of her career, by a close margin, smiling on her way back to her corner and asking her fight team if that’s the strategy they were talking about.

ROUND 4:
It sure is, we guess, as Elle continues to keep Nell off her with that leading right jab, preventing the Vixen from closing to brawling range and targeting her body. Nell’s trying but failing, grunting as she eats another jab to the cheek, another one-two combo to her nose and lips to throw her back for the final time. Tiger Free needs another way in to exert herself and win points, but for now, this strat just ain’t working.

ROUND 5:
Elle falls back on her base instincts as she circles her foe and for the most part, chooses to keep her distance. That’s all fine and good, but Nell also isn’t taking the bait like last time, and the end result is most of her jab combos are hitting the Vixen’s arms. Nell bides her time, blocking and absorbing the punishment, till she stuns the American blonde with a sudden overhand swing that lands between the eyes. AND THAT SEEMS TO BE IT!! Crowd’s ON THEIR FEET as Elle lets out a big grunt and goes scrambling backwards, looking punchdrunk! Can Nell capitalize here?!? The British actress immediately rushes inwards, fire in her eyes, slamming her gloves into the blonde’s belly before trying to take her head off with a hook or two. But Elle’s holding on a little too well, getting her head and arms ROCKED to the side left and right, but benefitting from Nell’s lack of firepower in each swing. More chugging shots to the stomach and sides, however, as Elle lurching forwards, and her legs get into a twist all of a sudden, forcing her DOWN to her knees!! It might be an early night for the German crowd, as Nell Tiger Free scores the first KNOCKDOWN of the event against the Home team!

Elle takes a moment to sputter and gather her breath, but eventually begins to force her way back up to her feet, shaking her head at the referee, who asks her if she wishes to quit. Nosiree! The German crowd lets out a shout of encouragement, and this fight is continuing!

ROUND 6:
Nell’s been in tougher and longer fights, so the British actress rushes back into the fray with a dangerous glint in her eyes. She wants to end the action this round, if possible, and it shows! Early assault to Elle’s middle and arms as Fanning curls and covers up along the ropes, hoping to weather the attack. Nell’s getting in close and firing away, huffing and puffing and trying to blow the bigger girl off her tracks and down to the canvas one last time. But it’s beginning to be clear that Nell herself is running out of steam. A halfhearted hook slams into the side of the arms, barely throwing Elle off balance. Fanning immediately returns with a swinging hook of her own that CONNECTS with Nell’s face, CLEAN!! OUCH!! Tiger Free has a look of absolute SHOCK on her face as she gets SPUN off to the side, stumbling a couple of steps before the ropes save her from going down! Holy hell can Elle pack a punch! Serves Tiger Free right, however, for thinking she can go up against a potential Lightweight fighter! Elle makes the most of the remaining time, punishing Nell with more powerful punches thrown into the middle of her guard or body, each time shoving her back a couple of steps towards the other end of the ring. Tiger Free’s like a balloon with all the air let out, now scrambling to find her bearings and not go down like her counterpart. Bell rings but not before the battered Vixen takes another straight cross to the arms, another combo to her nostrils to send her reeling. Thankfully, the round ends soon after, giving her the most disastrous round thus far.

ROUND 7:
Elle may be a new fighter, but she’s already proving herself tough as nails. Nell attempts a resurgent effort in the first minute, rushing in and hoping to wrack her body with punches to send her down another time. But Fanning just covers up her head and absorbs the punishment, her thick body taking a beating but also biding her time for pay her foe back. Nell again gets careless and underestimates her opponent, taking a glancing blow off the head when Fanning tosses a hook right back, nailing her on the ear, then continues to panic when more punches come sailing into her arms in tandem. Nell’s getting rocked left and right, barely able to deflect the power in each of Fanning’s swings. Another hook blows her arms clean out of the way, before a final one catches the Vixen on the chin, sending her FLYING off to her side!! DOWN NELL GOES, getting out punched in close quarters! Elle grins wide and tired, hoisting her hand high up in the air as the German crowd goes nuts for their hometown blonde, and the end result is made sweeter when Nell barely moves from her side, rolling over onto her back and just staring shocked up at the stadium lights! Referee hits the end of the 10-count and declares this fight OVER!! It’s the first loss for the Vixen visitors, and another shocking loss for their newest debutante, Nell Tiger Free!

Official Decision: Elle Fanning defeats Nell Tiger Free via KO7!

AFTER:
Nell has to be consoled in the aftermath, looking on the verge of tears after a second loss following the most recent one to Millie Bobby Brown. She had hoped that a complete newcomer like Elle Fanning would be easy-peasy to overcome, but the bigger blonde’s height and firepower were too much for her to overcome!

Elle Fanning, on the other hand, looks like quite the prospect for future managers and stables, opening her professional boxing career with an impressive win over Tiger Free. These days, with the Flyweights and Bantamweights seeing a majority of newcomers to the ring, Elle might be the shot of adrenaline the higher weight-classes need!
