Up next, Luisana Lopilato continues her quest for redemption, taking another crack at Holloway’s Amanda Cerny, a big brunette fighter she lost to in seven rounds back in 2019, which was one of Cerny’s best years ever fighting in the FCBA.
“I miss having such a regular schedule,” Cerny says first. “But what can you do? Between looking after a family and my acting career, I still find time to kick ass, just like I did to Luisa three years ago. And tonight ain’t gonna be different.”
Luisana of course not liking those comments, but the usually cordial Vixen simply bites her lip and responds: “We promised we’d have a rematch, and so here we are. I’m not a big fan of trash talk before or after a fight, so what I will say is that I think I’m ready, and Cerny isn’t. So this rematch is going to be interesting for both of our futures.”
Cerny usually fights and brawls at Lightweight, a fact which might have contributed to her success the last time these two met. But there’s only one-inch difference in terms of height when the two ladies square off at the podium, with their fists raised and chins cocked high to meet the challenge. Surprisingly, both of them shake hands and wave to the crowds, before heading backstage for the final preparations.
Hours later, Luisana is wearing a lilac-coloured bra and briefs set, smiling confidently as she waves to the cheers with white gloves on either hand. Amanda struts in earlier looking cocky, dressed in a leopard printed bikini top and black denim shorts. The brunette stretches in her corner, then shadow boxes in red gloves.
HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Lightweight action! Can Lopilato redeem herself, or will she get taken to the cleaners once more?
ROUND 1:
Slow but deliberate action as Luisana keeps her distance and Amanda tries to overpower her early with rushing attacks. Luisana knows she can’t brawl with the bigger and bulkier American, resorts to tagging her on her face and body with jabs galore. It won’t keep Amanda away forever, but for now, it does the trick: Amanda grunts each time she’s caught on the cheek or boob, Luisana’s practised regiment means she makes up for her lack of power with precision. Cerny, on the other hand, is having trouble nailing down the script, finding her punches constantly missing their mark or absorbed by the arms, and only one or two banging into Luisana’s taut body. Round ends and it’s a one-sided affair for Lopilato, and if only she can sustain this momentum for another nine rounds, she might take this rematch for herself.
ROUND 2:
Luisa repeats the strategy, poking at Cerny’s face and trying not to piss her off too much. It’s going to take a whole lot more than that to fell this beast, however, and Cerny shrugs off an early combo to her face before powering a cross straight down the middle and into Luisana’s arms, which shocks her badly. All downhill for the Vixen from there on out, with Lopilato scattering backwards and her defences hanging on by a thread. Amanda capitalises, marching in and hammering shots into her sides, always on the lookout for the elusive hook to the chin to end this fight before it begins. Thankfully, Luisa manages to get clear, but not without significant damage sustained. Rest of the round sees her poking back at Amanda’s face, trying to salvage this round, but to no avail.
ROUND 3:
Cerny goes back to basics and what makes her such a terrifying opponent: she rushes at Luisana at the most unfortunate moments, keeping her fists low and loose before powering them into the Vixen’s body and arms. Luisana’s best defence is to keep clear and not engage, and in this rematch, she’s able to better predict when and where and how these charges might occur. Cerny bangs on the arms most of the time before her face takes a beating from either side, Luisa’s counter-hooks squeezed in hard and fast as they crater her cheek in and push her head off towards the ropes. Cerny keeps on coming back for more, however, determined to try and try until it works, just like last time in the ring. She manages to score another hook off the tummy later in the round but a follow-up swing to the head misses entirely, and Luisana gets away with a comfortable lead in the third.
ROUND 4:
Cerny hasn’t had the same vigorous fight schedule, and her sluggishness in the ring is showing. She’s still playing the aggressor, however, wading into Luisa’s space and immediately trying to swing fists at her head. But the agile and more focused Lopilato dodges them all, her head weaving to the side before paying the big brunette back with a snap uppercut to the base of her chin, and another shot dingin’ the chin and slowly whittling her opponent down. But when Cerny decides to charge in, she really does CHARGE forth, literally barreling into Luisana and sending them both crashing into the nearby ropes. They clinch up immediately but there’s clear fear in Lopilato’s eyes as she tries to fight off this bulldozer snarling in her face. Cerny does what she does best, using her strength and bulk to pin her against the ropes, hands shoving arms out of the way before leather gloves are buried into the paunch or up into the arms, taking her dues as Lopilato begins to wilt in this fatal embrace. But the Vixen holds on till the very last second of the bell, keeping her guard tight and not allowing Cerny to exert full control. One or two side blows to the chin also help, and Cerny is the one breathing hard when she’s pulled off by the referee at the bell.

Cerny looks slightly dazed by those elbows from earlier, and what’s worse, is breathing hard and fighting for air this early in the fight. She attacks first with a combo that ends with a right cross, but it’s taken on Luisa’s guard no problem. Rather than retreat, however, Luisana senses her opponent is simply throwing punches to hide her own weakness, and the Vixen takes a calculated approach to chase after Cerny with more lefts and rights. It seems to work, with her punches landing all over the face and earning several grunts from Cerny’s lips. It’s Amanda’s turn to get driven back as her head is snapped backwards and up, turned to either side from Luisa’s hooks landing off her chin in quick succession. Lopilato is even shoving leather into her stomach to keep the big girl guessing, after ploughing another clean into the side of her face. For a moment, Cerny appears staggered, hitting the ropes chest-first before bouncing off them with a shout. But soon after, the big girl loses her balance and COLLAPSES down to her side!! It’s a shock KNOCKDOWN for Luisana Lopilato, who trusted her instincts in the fifth round and got rewarded for it! Cerny looks spent as she tries to prop herself up with both hands, but can’t do much else but look on and up in horror. The rest of her body refuses to extend itself as Luisana watches from the neutral corner with quiet anticipation. The referee hits the end of the 10-count and that’s all she wrote, folks! Lopilato breathes a huge sigh of relief as she takes this rematch in record fashion!

If she had more fights under her belt, she might have posed some danger to me. I’m sure we’ll go a third time in the future.”
“Props to blondie over there,” Cerny responds much later after nursing a bruised cheek of her own. “She said she’ll get back at me, and that’s what happened. I need to treat our third rubber match a little more seriously than what transpired tonight. But I’ll let her have her small victory for now.”
