TESS VALMORE
N.FISHER/TATANGELO. This will be Fishers second bout and the first under the Odds & Ends flag. She has a 1-1 record and lost her first bout this year. Tatangelo has an 11-3 record and is 4-2 for the year with her losses being to Rohrbach and Atwell, She has a win over Lively. I have to go with Tatangelo.
MERRIT/S.TURNER. Merritt broke in last year compiling a good 5-2 record. She’s 1-1 this year after getting a little over-ambitious in taking on DiDonato. Turner vastly more experience with thirty-four fights on her record and winning twenty-one. She lost her first three fight of last year, all to top lightweights, but came back to win her last four including a win over Kylie Jenner. Turner will win
TAILOR/KRSMANOVIC. Tailor is 8-6 since the beginning of last year fighting a heavy schedule. Three of those fights that she lost were title fights. Two of her wins were over Swift and Upton. Krsmanovic was 5-7 last year with most of those fights being in the Diamond Boxing Tournament. The most telling was a loss to Leotta on New Years Eve. Tailor wins
WEAVING/DI PATRIZI Weaving has a combined record of 13-8 and is 8-7 in the FCBA. She won her last three, two being over Bush. She has beaten Alyssa Lynch and is 1-1 against Kosarin. Di Patrizi has won five of her last six with wins over Benoist and Benson. I go with Weaving. She’s blonde
O.HOLT/BECKY G. Holt held the flyweight title last year and had four successful defenses. She has won seven of her last ten and is 1-1 this year losing to Lowndes. Becky G is 2-4 since the beginning of last year and is also 1-1 for the year her loss being to Cicchino. Not much difference is age but Holt has a two inch height advantage. Holt will win.
CAMERON/C.MENDES. Cameron is the big surprise in the flyweights. Since the beginning of last year she has gone 11-3. She is 2-1 for the year losing to Michelle Williams. Mendes has also done well being 8-4 since the beginning of last year and is 3-0 for this year with wins over Ramirez, Nasti and McNamara.
She has won five of her last six. That one loss was to Cameron. This should be a good fight but I expect Cameron to repeat her win.
T.ATKINSON/H.FERGUSON This will be the 13th bout between the two in the best rivalry going these days. Each has won six. Boxing World has Tahnee at one in the welters and Hannah at two. Tractorpull has Hannah at two and Tahnee at six. This is a 50/50 fight. Quite frankly I don’t have a clue who is going to win but my rule is when undecided go with the blonde. Ferguson will win
C.HOLT/DOBREV. Holt comes into this bout having lost six of her last ten. This will be her first fight in two years. Dobrev is one of my favorites. She has eight of her last eleven. She needs two wins in her next nine fights to get into the Hall OF Fame. After this fight, she will need only one win as she KO’s Holt
GONZALEZ/STRAHOVSKI. With 72 wins in 117 fights. Yvonne is in the Hall Of Fame. Now pushing forty, she has lost six of her last ten. Gonzalez hasn’t done quite as poorly She won five of her last ten but four of those losses came in her last four fights. The first of those losses was in a title fight last year. The two have fought twice before with each winning one. This is another 50/50 fight. I have already expressed my rule. I have to go with the blonde. That’s Yvonne.
SHAHI/PANETTIERE. Shahi retired in August 2018 with a 26-16 record and one flyweight title. She unretired or as the Wiz says, she finally got a call. She had two fights, losing both to Winter and Emma Watson. Shahi is now 42. Panettiere with a 76-44 record is in the Hall OF Fame. She appears to have lost her mojo. She has lost five of her last six. She has been continuously active and is ten years younger than Shahi. Panettiere will win
D.ROSE/B.THORNE. Management refers to Rose as the “most prolific title-holder in the stables history” That’s kind of sad. She did hold the bantam title losing it in January this year. That means she has won one title. The other four were JMD titles, which as far as Tractorpull is concerned, don’t count. The only official titles are the four weight division titles. That said, she has won six of her last ten conventional fights. Thorne has a 44 -17 record and has held the bantam title twice. The two have fought twice with each winning one. Thorne is six inches taller than Mawby. While that didn’t help her in the last fight, it will be the determining factor in this bout. Thorne wins.
LIMA/DIDONATO. Lima, now a cougar, has a 48-15 record. She is 5-5 in her last ten. Four of those wins were in the Victoria’s Secret Tournament. She lost in the tournament finals early this year, DiDonato has a 44-16 record and has won eight of her last two with wins over Decker and Swift this year. Each has held the lightweight title once. The two have fought twice with each winning one. DiDonato is on a hot streak now. I have to go with her.
