It's time for the main event with a rematch from last year, Gemma Atkinson (0-1) will be hoping to get her Diamond Boxing Tournament going now by getting revenge on Charlotte McKinney (1-0), who beat her the last time these two met, a vicious fourth round knockout ended Gemma's night the first time around, can Gemma get revenge or will it be a double for Charlotte?
Heading into the clash both put their thoughts on camera, Gemma first up wearing a black pair of jeans, white T-shirt with "Beever's Babes" in blue written on it, she shakes her head before she says "OK so I lost again, I am as sick of this as I know my fans are, you know what, I am going to use this frustration I have to kick some arses, I am not out this tournament yet by a long shot, so let's f**king have it!" Gemma looking fired up as she clenches her fists.
Knocking over the stool as she stands, she tells her opponent "to you Charlotte, yeah you beat me last time around, though I remember the looks of pain each time I landed, you survived our first fight, this time I knock you f**king out!" Storming off having made her point loud and clear.
Of course McKinney looks more calm as she heads in wearing a white blouse and blue denim jeans, she sits with a confident smile, saying "as I said I would I won my first fight, Lais was the simplest fight to win right? So I know I won't get any plaudits, but I am going to win this tournament, get myself back fighting the likes of Kate Upton, Amanda Righetti and all the top fighters in the FCBA" an assured look on Charlotte's face.
"Of course there's you next Gemma, a former FCBA champion fallen on hard times, I'll admit you are a hand full in the ring but even if you won't admit it, I'll tell the world the truth about you, the reason you lose isn't because you aren't fit, my god you have abs to die for, it isn't skill because you've been the best, it's that you can't take a hit anymore without you ass clenching up, the invincibility you felt when you were mowing opponent's down is gone, now you are simply a little girl trying to act tough, I will happily punk you out again in the ring and leave you crying for a second time" says Charlotte, grinning when she finishes, clearly hoping her words sting Gemma before their fight.
Fight night in Atlanta's State Farm Center, first out is Gemma with her coach Denise Lewis, Gemma heads down the ring thudding her gloves together before tapping her cheeks as she reaches the ring steps, clearly psyching herself up for this contest, her attire consists of a a red sports bra with black trim, matching trunks and shoes, black gloves, her hair is tied back into a ponytail.
Here comes Charlotte now pumping her right fist in the air as she hears the cheers of her supporters, jogging down the ring with her coach beside her, she looks excited for this rematch, getting into the ring she stares at Gemma with a look of malice, her demeanor changing from party girl to a predator hunting it's prey, she is wearing a white sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks with her surname in gold letters on her waistband, white boots, white gloves with gold thumbs, her hair also in a ponytail.
The fighters come to the middle of the ring, squaring up to each other with their eyes locked, noses touching as they get into each others faces, the referee nudging them apart as both look close to going at it early, when told to touch gloves, they thud their gloves into their opponent's with a crack of leather ringing out, showing no love lost here, they return to their corners, the bell ringing to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.
Round 1:
Both women know the other has power, they trade single punches to start, looking for openings as they stare hard at their opponent behind their gloves, Gemma is the first to swing in a right hook, just missing as Charlotte steps back in time, punishing the actress with a left across her jaw, followed by a straight to her lips.
That sets them off as Charlotte now comes forwards on the attack, pushing Gemma onto the back foot after they exchange hard shots, but Gemma catches Charlotte across her jaw with a left cross, then lands an uppercut to reverse the direction they are going in, Atkinson now burying her fists square into McKinney's face as she drives her back.
After a fiery opening minute, Gemma is starting to muscle Charlotte to the ropes, stuffing in body shots as Charlotte grunts out, with Charlotte trying to fight back but struggling to load up with the lack of room she has, her mood not helped when an uppercut catches her out and McKinney has to clinch up.
Pulled apart so they can fight on, Charlotte gets to see that Gemma means business, she has to jab on the back foot, move her head to not get clipped as easily as the round comes to a close, Gemma giving Charlotte a nasty look before heading to her corner.
Round 2:
Realising she has someone wanting to knock her head off, Charlotte comes out more aggressive, both women trading in close as things get scruffy, holding and hitting each other as the referee has to keep breaking them up and then ordering them to keep it clean.
As Gemma looks to step in she gets caught with an uppercut, Charlotte adding a one-two combo square into Gemma's face as the tables start to turn after the first round, now it's Gemma finding herself needing to tighten up her guard as Charlotte has stepped up a gear.
Herding Atkinson around the ropes, Charlotte is getting caught with straight shots, but is catching Gemma with the harder shots, snapping back the blondes head, with left cross opens up Gemma to a stiff straight into the face of the English lass.
Pushing Charlotte back so she can move off the ropes, Gemma coming back at her, ending up with both locked together in a tight clinch, trying to force the other back, at the bell they push apart with their eyes locked, returning to their corners with scowls on their beautiful faces.
Round 3:
Out their corners trading stiff shots into each others faces, circling as they look to knock the other back, just missing with their rights and taking a counter left back into their faces, cheeks getting marked up as they hiss out when getting hit, their fans cheering them on.
Dipping under a jab, Charlotte digs in a left to the abs of Gemma, then lands an uppercut that knocks back the head of her rival, driving back Atkinson into a neutral corner, where she uses her head to press into the face of Gemma, digging in short hooks under the ribs as cracks of leather on flesh rings out.
Pushing back McKinney, Atkinson can't seem to get away from the ropes, with the American beauty keeping the pressure on, throwing piston like punches square into Gemma's face, causing blood to run from Gemma's nostrils as she pounds in a one-two clean through her mitts.
But Gemma isn't going away so easily, knocking aside a straight and landing a short right hook to the body, followed by a left cross onto the cheek of Charlotte, finally backing up her younger rival as they fight back to the middle of the ring, a heated last exchange of punches before the bell rings has the crowd whistling and cheering both women, who exchange a one word insult each before turning to their corners, they simply don't like one another at all.
Round 4:
Denise telling Gemma she needs to take control of this before she gets blasted out, comes out after taking a deep breath, doubling up her jab to make it harder for Charlotte to catch her out, Gemma shows some impressive footwork to step to the left out the way of a straight and bury in a counter right across Charlotte's face.
A mouse soon forms under McKinney's left eye, Gemma happy to pepper around there with her punches, Charlotte having to keep her left more tightly pressed to her face, catching Gemma with several good rights but is getting driven back by body shots and an uppercut lands flush enough to send her head back.
Landing a straight to send sweat flying from Charlotte's head, Gemma following up with two hooks, forcing Charlotte to hold on, Gemma not wanting history to repeat itself, the referee splits them up with Gemma telling Charlotte "you're mine bytch" looking fired up as she hunts after Charlotte around the ring.
Gemma gets caught with a double jab on her nose, reminding her how sore it is after being on the front foot, Charlotte getting back into the fray, both fighters grinding foreheads as they beat each other in a phonebooth style brawl, the round comes to an end with the referee needing to break them up, if Charlotte thought she was going to simply repeat their first fight and knockout Gemma early, Gemma proving she is still as tough as ever.
Round 5:
Clashing again both are grimacing when they get hit, with one fighter starting to get momentum as they back their opponent up, then get caught with a power punch to make them back off, Gemma's nose is leaking more claret as she gives it a quick wipe with her left glove and looks furious about it.
She evens the score at the end of the opening minute, opening a gash under Charlotte's left eye, while it isn't affecting her eyesight, it is giving Gemma a target to strike at, Charlotte finding herself on the back foot again in this power struggle for control, Gemma working like a machine throwing piston like shots till she is held onto, some dirty boxing as rabbit punches come in.
Broken up they resume with Charlotte landing a nice double jab to Gemma's bloody nose, getting a right cross on her cheek in reply as payback, both falling into another clinch, barking out as they smack each other in their kidneys till the referee can split them up and warn them to behave.
Less then thirty seconds to go, Gemma pounding in a double jab to the chin of Charlotte, who shells up as hooks fly her way, backed onto the ropes by Gemma, who whacks away to the body to the bell, where Atkinson gives her opponent a shove, McKinney shoving her back as the referee has to risk their health getting between these heated blondes, they retreat to their stools after a lengthy stare down, getting wiped down and patched up as this is a real brawl for dominance.
Round 6:
Both fighters gloves are stained with blood, they aren't letting up as they slug it out again, Gemma grabs Charlotte's left arm, both press foreheads together as Charlotte whacks away to the body and boobs of Gemma, who whacks her around the side of the head till they can be pushed apart, showing how hard they will go to win this.
Gemma looking to keep driving back Charlotte, she eats a jab on her nose, then as Gemma misses with a left cross, a right hook hits her behind the ear, Gemma stumbles forwards three steps, turning around to be met with punches square into her face as now it's McKinney's turn to lay the smackdown.
Needing to hold onto Charlotte as her back touches the ropes, Gemma looked to have been hurt by that last barrage, still she throws in rabbit punches; not quitting yet, even as the referee again warns her if she keeps doing that she'll be deducted points.
Still the direction of travel is starting to come Gemma's way, with punches starting to land more flush into her face, Gemma shelling up as her back touches the turnbuckles, Charlotte snarling "come on you bytch, where's your fight you coward" Gemma deciding not to be baited in as she just slings out single punches, at the bell Charlotte raises her arms in the air as she returns to her corner, Gemma holding the top rope with her right glove as she slowly walks to her corner, Denise checking she is OK, Gemma assuring her she can fight on, with Denise taking her word for it.
Round 7:
Duelling chants break out as the crowd shows both fighters some love, Gemma is up and looking to hurt Charlotte early, her power punches are missing as Charlotte keeps beating her to the punch, blood and sweat flies off Gemma as she is being bullied back, Denise grabbing the towel in her corner, A RIGHT HOOK TO THE CHIN MIGHT HAVE BEATEN DENISE TO ENDING THIS FIGHT AS DOWN GOES GEMMA TO HER BACK!
Charlotte smirks as she looks at Gemma laid out at her feet, marching to the neutral corner with arms in the air, 1...2...3... Gemma's chest is rising quickly as she has her gumshield hanging out her mouth, 4...5...6...7.. She is laying spread eagle not moving much, eyes shut as 8...9...10 it is clearly over!

What a brawl between these two gorgeous blondes, again it is Charlotte who survives to get the win, she looks like she went ten rounds but she smiles as she turns to her fans, who are chanting her surname, her coach looks in awe of her for toughing this one out.
Back to her corner goes Charlotte relieved to be getting patched up, her coach washing her down as she shuts her eyes and smiles, her coach telling her how proud they are of her, with Charlotte replying "I knew I could knock her out, it was just when" showing the confidence she has going into this tournament.
On the other side of the coin is Gemma, who is slowly helped to sit up as the ringside doctor with Denise checks her over, Gemma getting wiped down as her left cheek looks swollen now, she has tissue paper up her nostrils, they soon help her out the ring, wanting to make fully sure she is OK, it's another disappointing night for Gemma, but she should take heart from the performance she gave, she is going to be a dangerous opponent for many in this tournament.
While the winner now can come to the center of the ring, taking a breath before getting her right arm raised, she has been through the wars too, while these two dislike each other with a passion, surely there has to be some respect after the beatings they've given each other.
After getting her arm raised, Charlotte poses hands on hips for the cameras, smiling as she takes the spotlight, soon enough she takes her leave from the ring, wanting to get a massage and a drink tonight, Charlotte still has a great chance to win this tournament, even as a free agent, as the second round ends now, onto night three for her.
