TESS VALMORE
LIVELY/PRINSLOO. Lively hasn’t done particularly well since 2018, but she has won five of her last ten against top competition fighting mainly lightweights. Prinsloo is in funk losing six of seven since the beginning of 2020. Prinsloo is a little bigger and a little younger. but I don’t think it will make any difference. I have to go with Lively to win
HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY/MING XI. Since having a fine 2020, Rosie has been mediocre going 7-6. She does have a win over Kendall Jenner and split wins with Didonato in two fights. Ming Xi has a combined record of 9-9 and is 6-5 in the FCBA. She’s a little bigger and younger, but hasn’t faced the competition that Huntington-Whiteley has. I think Rosie’s experience with better competition will serve her well. Rosie will repeat her 2019 win
ELLINGSON/G.ELIZABETH. Ellingson is not exactly developing in a threat to a title Holder. She has had ten fights and has won only one. She has lost her last eight. Elizabeth has only had two fights and lost both. Ellingson’s only win was over Ming XI. One of Elizabeth’s losses was to Ming XI. Ellingson is a little bigger but Elizabeth is 12 years younger. At this stage of her career, Ellingson is on her way to nowhere. Elizabeth is just beginning. Who knows how she will do, but I think she has more incentive I will go with Elizabeth.
VAN DER GRAAF. Van Der Graaf has a 4-2 record. She was 3-1 last year, beating DiDonato last December. DiDonato is by far the best fighter she has faced. Emily is off to a good start this year winning her first two. Van Der Graaf’s win last year was an upset. It won’t happen again. DiDonato in five
SWIFT/LYNN. This is the first of three for the Body Saddle. This will be Swift’s first bout of the year after a great 16-5 2021. This will be her 100th fight. A win will make her eligible for the Hall Of Fame. This will be her first defense of the Body Saddle. Lynn will come in with a 9-3 and is 1-1 since the beginning of this year. She is getting a little too ambitious. I question the wisdom of her scheduling this fight. She is scheduled to fight Righetti in the welter title bout on the 25th, thirteen days later. Not a good time to take on Swift, if there is a good time to take on Swift. Lynn will suffer a defeat with another defeat looking her in the face in the PPV.
