TESS VALMORE
McNAMARA/C.MENDES The two fought last year with McNamara winning the first bout by a KO5 and Mendes winning the second by a KO 6. McNamara has a 16-10 career record and was 4-5 last year. Mendes has a 22-14 career record and was 5-4 last year. McNamara has a two inch height advantage. McNamara’s height advantage didn’t help her in their last fight and it won’t help her now. Mendes will win.
DORMER/MARKLE. This will be the third fight between these two. Markle won the first two by TKOs. Dormer went 3-2 last year and has lost six of her last ten. Markle was 1-3 last year but has won six of her last ten. I am not a fan of Markle’s, but I think she is going to go 3-0 against Dormer
LARSON/BENOIST Larson was 4-1 last year and has won seven of her last ten. Benoist was 1-3 last year and has lost six of her last ten. Height and age are not factors. I have to go with Larson to win
McADAMS/LILLY. Two former multi-time champions in the twilight of their career. McAdams is now 43, was 3-1 last year and has won five of her last ten. She is a four time Unified bantam champ. Lilly is now 42 and is a seven time bantam champ and a member of the Hall Of Fame. She went 0-3 last year and has lost eight of her last ten. Lilly has been fighting a far more difficult schedule than McAdams including a fight against Kendall Jenner. The two have fought only once with Lilly winning. That fight was back in 2019. Despite Lilly’s recent record I think she is going to win this bout
KENDALL JENNER/UPTON. This is a fight at 135 catchweight. I have no doubt that Jenner can make that weight and be competitive. I question is Upton can do the same. Her weight estimates are all over the map ranging from 141 to 156 and I don’t believe Upton is 141. I think she would have to lose ten pounds to make the weight. More importantly. This fight is at Ironwoman rules. Tractorpull has been following the FCBA since the fall of 1999. I and my predecessor have been doing predictions since around 2006. We have never heard of “Ironwoman” rules and have no idea what they are. We will defer the prediction until there is some clarification of just what the rules are.
