TESS VALMORE
HSIEH/NEMOTO. Hsieh broke into the FCBA in March and has a 7-1 record with wins over Nigri and DiPatrizi. Nemoto has been around since 2015, but really didn’t get busy until this year. In 2021. She has had twenty-two fights, winning thirteen. They are the same height, but Nemoto is 41 years of age which is sixteen years older than Hsieh. The two fought once before in a JMD fight that Hsieh won. She will win this one also
GONZALEZ/ROHRBACH Gonzalez has a career record of 17-20. She is 4-3 for the year, fighting a tough schedule. Rohrbach has a career record of 29-18 and is 4-2 for the year. Half of her fights this year have been at JMD. One of her wins this year was over Gonzalez who she beat by a TKO8. This will be the best of three as Gonzalez has a KO5 win over Rohrbach. I think that Gonzalez has fought a little better schedule. She will win the best of three.
TREVEJO/SWEENEY. Trevejo made her debut in August and has had three fights winning two. Her loss was to Avril Lavigne in her first fight. Sweeney has a career record of 11-4 with nine of her fights being at JMD. She held the JMD title earlier this year. Her record in conventional fighting is 4-2. I have to go with Sweeney. After all. She’s blonde
NASTI/C.MENDES. Nasti made her debut in April and has been very busy taking part in seventeen fights of which she won ten. She has basically fought average opposition. Mendes has a 21-13 career record and is 5-3 for the year. Mendes has fought the tougher schedule by far. The experience will serve her well and she takes care of Nasti in six.
MERRITT/DIDONATO. Merritt made her debut in the January Asylum PPV and scored a very rare win over a Front Street fighter at the Asylum beating Del Toro. She hasn’t been invited back. DiDonato has a career record of 39-16 and is 10-5 for the year She held the Unified Lightweight title last year and the JMDD title this year. She is ranked at eleven in the lightweights by Boxing World and six by Tractorpull. She’s also two inches bigger than Merritt. I have no doubt that DiDonato will win.
SABRNA LYNN/T.ATKINSON. Lynn is another who broke in this year. She has eight fights winning seven. She’s beaten a couple good fighters with her loss being to Jennifer Lawrence. Atkinson has a career record of 30-17 and is 5-2 for the year. Her losses were to Upton and an upset loss to Lawley. She has wins over Rhoda and Kostek Boxing World has Lynn ranked at fourteen and Atkinson as four. Tractorpull has Atkinson at seven and doesn’t rank Lynn. Atkinson will win
LIMA/STRAHOVSKI. Lima has a career record of 47-34 and is 4-3 for the year. She has held the Unified Lightweight title once. She is presently in the Victoria’s Secret “War in Heaven” tournament and won the semi-final earlier this month
Strahovski has a career record of 72-37 and is a member of the Hall Of Fame. She has held the Unified Lightweight title four times. She is 2-2 for the year and is 7-7 since the beginning of last year. The two have fought once before with Lima winning by a knockout. Lima has the better record over the last two years, but I think Yvonne will get revenge.
GOMEZ/R0SE. For the Unified Bantamweight title Once again Rose ducks Elizabeth Olsen and Minka Kelly to take on Selena Gomez According to the publicity this is a “fight demanded by fans”. How convenient. Gomez has a career recent of 41-23 and is 6-2 for the year. Rose has a career record of 25-7 and is 8-1 for the year. This will be her third defense. She will make if good. Rose retains the title
TAILOR/UPTON. For the JMDD title.Tailor has a career record of 21-16 and is 7-5 for the year, with one of her wins being over Upton by a TKO10. Upton has a career record of 94-28 and has held the Unified Welterweight title four times. She is not in the Hall Of Fame because so many of her fights have been at JMDD. She has a previous KO6 win over Tailor. This will be the best of three.
Kate the Queen will win. Why because she is a good friend of mine. How’s that for analysis?
