Hey everyone, I thought I'd open up a forum for some SPA related Q&A. Obviously if you're a registered user/member of the FCBA board you can just respond below. Answer:
At this stage in the story, yes. Tilda is a better fighter than Agent Blue. She has superior striking skills and is a good bit stronger. Blue's biggest strength is being able to adapt to her opponent. So if her opponent is a better technical striker than her she can overwhelm them with her brute strength. When someone is stronger than her Blue normally has the better fighting technique and can out-finesse them. Not the case with Tilda. She's better at both. Blue's first win over Tilda was more about Tilda getting distracted and frankly Agent Blue getting lucky.
That doesn't mean it will always be the case however. Agent Blue could improve and become better than Tilda. Right now though, Tilda is better by a fair margin.

Answer:
I think it makes for a more compelling story when the hero is faced with seemingly insurmountable odds. That's why typically the agents either lose or have to come from behind to win in the SPA stories. It is a valid criticism, though and I've toyed with a few ideas where the "good girl" is more dominant. In the first part of the Codename: Blue story I thought it was clear that while Blue "lost" to The Champ, she was clearly better than her and was lulling her into a private area where she could interrogate her more thoroughly. But yeah, I should probably write a few more stories where the agents win more convincingly.

Answer:
Yes! In fact that is the premise for the next chapter in the Codename: Blue storyline. Agent Blue will have to be evaluated after her loss at the hands of The Blonde and it's Red who handles the evaluation, which involves a sparring match between the two. In addition, I have a few ideas for them to face off in a more serious way... but that's in the future. But, Red and Blue have a very long and complicated history. So there may be some flashback stories to tell between the two where they are at each other's throats.

Yeah, that's what the whole "SPA: The Early Years" idea was kind of for, but honestly that (and a few other ideas) have kind of been put on the back burner. Between my starting up a stable with the FCBA again, working on canon stories for SPA, and honestly just my personal life I've had to push some other SPA ideas back. It's definitely an idea I'd like to re-visit, though. I'm always on the lookout for writers who would help out too! |

She also is involved in both the main storyline for Agent Tea and Agent Blue. However, we won't see her in action until a little down the road in those stories. The timetable isn't set in stone, but I think her first time in action will be when this canon side story eventually comes out:  Her Majesty has never had a true rival in Europe, let alone her own country! Sure, there have been others across the pond who have challenged her, but her reputation in the UK makes criminals shake in their boots. Enter Sophie Davis, a rich socialite who is obsessed with the agent. She dreams of humiliating Her Majesty for all of the Queen's subjects to see. An intricate call-out leads Her Majesty to Sophie's location... and a fight for the ages ensues. Has Her Majesty finally met her match? Or will she cement herself as the absolute best? Her Majesty Has A Rival will answer that question!

Because right now the only romance I've really introduced is Daisy and Amanda. However, in my mind there's something more between Evie Cromwell and Olivia Heath. If you mean pairing by like platonic partnership or something, I think it'd be fun to see Agent River and Agent Tea team up one day. |

If another writer wanted to help fill out the SPA Universe, what are some Do's and Don'ts for a story pitch? in terms of content, language, character models and such? Well first and foremost they'd have to adhere to the rules of the FCBA forum. This means things have to be kept PG-13. Also, and this should go without saying but I'll do it anyway, all celebrities used for the characters should be 18+ and the characters they're playing should be 18+. Now, obviously when it comes to canon stories I'd be stricter. I'll essentially provide a rough outline for the writer to follow and the end result will be my own call since there's so many moving parts. When it comes to non-canon work that can be more fluid. I'd essentially just let the writer have pretty much free rein over it, though again it would have to adhere to the rules of this board and I'd give it a once over to make sure it still fits within the realm of SPA. Character models need to have a celebrity already attached to it as well as a name and some general personality traits. I don't want say Hailee Steinfeld being suggested. I'd want a character who is being played by Hailee Steinfeld who I can identify as having unique traits. (Hailee is just an example). Of course there needs to be a fight in the story as well. Each story in SPA needs to have a fight in it, and normally it's the centerpiece of the story. Though again, I can be flexible if a writer wants to be unique. But I don't think that will be the case. It's actually funny, I've been in talks with a few talented writers trying to recruit them to come over and write some guest spots just to see if they enjoy it. Hopefully I can get a few of them to agree to write something up soon! |

I haven't really considered the Bella twins in this universe. If another writer came along with an idea for them I'd certainly listen to the pitch.

There are no current plans, but certainly The Boss is a character who would be available for a story where we see her in action.

Without giving too much away... we will definitely see some non-threats/civilian characters in action. Though whether they remain classified as non-threats... well, I can't guarantee that.

"How do you decide which roles a celebruty is going to play on your universe? I can tell sometimes the actual celebrity has a lot of influence in the character (like with Miley Cyrus), but but are there cases were the opposite also happens? When you have a role in mind and choose a celebrity to fit that role?"
Answer:
It definitely works both ways. For instance, I knew I wanted Christina Hendricks in this universe and wrote a character around her. But sometimes I have an idea for the character first. For instance, the idea of an agent who betrayed SPA came about first... and I went through a list of celebrities who I think could be a representation for that role and settled on January Jones. So it's definitely a case-by-case basis.

Do you have any plans of including non "hollywoodian" celebrities on the universe? Like celebrities from other countries, or even internet stars?
Answer:
There are a few internet celebrities I have coming down the pipeline... for instance IG model Missy Lynn will be a character in an upcoming story. Similarly, I just outlined an arc that includes fitness model in Zahra Elise playing a character. I also have an idea for Iskra Lawrence to join. However, I'm all about inclusivity and while my knowledge of other countries entertainment industries is limited, I'm always open to suggestions.

Answer:
Chloe Grace Moretz!!! I've had a tough time on settling on a character for her. Should she be good or bad? Should she be experienced or inexperienced? What kind of fighter would she be? Hopefully I'll settle on something soon and incorporate her in, but as of now she's been a tough one.
