Fates steps out to a pressroom full of reporters.
“Fates holds many PPVs during a year and we do our best to bring high quality matches during each PPV.” Fates pauses, “There is one event that we try to turn it up a notch though, and we are announcing this year’s edition of Taylor Swift’s Birthday Bash. Last year saw fighters with a combined 389-229-3 record, but we think we have a card that can rival it with several future hall of famers. This year’s card features fighters with a combined record of 431 wins and 213 losses. The fighters combine for one flyweight title reign, one bantamweight title reign, four lightweight title reigns, four welterweight title reigns, five JMDD title reigns, three Ice Hotel reigns, two mistress of the body saddle reigns, two BBU JMDD title reigns, and one BBU welterweight reign.” Fates pauses, “But first, we announce the host of the event will be free agent Valerie van der Graaf!”
The Dutch model steps in a pink jacket and skirt, the blonde waving to the press before stepping up to the podium. “Without further ado, we are announcing the following fights for December 13!”
“Up first, we have Katherine McNamara fighting Camila Mendes of Odds and Ends. McNamara defeated Mendes in a JMD bout earlier this year – can Camila get her revenge, or will Kat reign supreme?”
“The second fight sees Ana Beatriz Barros squaring off against Chimera’s Blake Lively as Lively makes a bid for fighting at welterweight. Does the old Brazilian model have some magic left in her, or will Blake follow up her win against ex-Fates girl Hannah Davis with a win against Barros?”
“The third fight takes us to bantamweight where Elizabeth Olsen and Naomi Scott of Hawkeye International Sports Consortium step into the ring. Both girls are at the top of their game, and this fight may well steal the spotlight. Can Olsen get revenge for losing to Scott previously, or will Naomi once again emerge victorious?”
“The fourth fight sees two top lightweight meet in an internal stable fight as Emily DiDonato and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. RHW defeated DiDo in February and ambushed the brunette after a recent fight. DiDonato may have won the JMDD title this year, but she has not beaten a girl with a stable in a regulation fight yet, with all of her wins coming against free agents. Can Emily stop Rosie, or will the blonde continue to have the upper hand?”
“The second to last fight sees two top welterweights and former stablemates meet for the first time as Lookout’s Kate Upton meets reigning BBU welterweight champion Karen Gillan in the ring.. Fates and Lookout have a rivalry, and since Fates signed Gillan away from Lookout, Upton is set on defeating the redhead. Can Karen prove that Fates made the right choice signing her, or will Kate prove Lookout made the right choice to let her go?”
“Last, the main event sees two of the best blondes in the league slugging it out as Alexis Ren of VIXENs continues her rivalry with Taylor Swift. The singer leads the series 4-2, and has ended Ren’s reigns as Queen of the Ice Hotel and Mistress of the Body Saddle. Both women are surefire future hall of famers, and their rivalry may only be getting started. Can Ren spoil Swift’s birthday for payback of losing her two titles, or will Swift once again get the better of Ren?”
Our thanks to Odds & Ends, Lookout, Chimera, Hawkeye International Sports Consortium and VIXENs for letting their fighters participate in the event.
