Jack Gordon: Hello everyone and welcome back to Free Punchers Roundup, the only program that brings you exclusive Free Punchers content with members of the stable itself. I'm joined today by lightweight boxer Laura Harrier and GM and President of Boxing operations for Free Punchers, Jennifer Lopez. Elyse Willems and Milana Vayntrub will be joining me later. First off Jennifer, good to have you on the program.
Jennifer Lope: Good to be on, Jack.
Jack: So, elephant in the room... your stable lost both of their PPV fights last week. A bit of a stumbling block for a young stable, isn't it?
J-Lo: Definitely a stumble, but you know those weren't cupcakes Elyse and Laura fought. They were higher ranked opponents. We're going to continue giving our boxers shots to climb the ladder because we believe in them.
Jack: Laura, Sophie got you pretty good. Previously you only fought two bantamweights, was the transition into someone more in your weightclass too challenging to overcome?
Laura Harrier: Not too challenging, Jack. Sophie Turner is an excellent young fighter who has more experience than me. That's not an excuse, just stating facts here. I learned a lot from my fight with her and am really ready to get back for this month's PPV.
Jack: Jennifer, you expressed to me earlier off camera that it's your intention for all four of your fighters to get on this month's PPV. Why the push for all four?
J-Lo: It's the last PPV of the year. The last chance for our fighters to put a cap off on their season. Some of the girls like Laura or Iskra have just gotten started, but Elyse and Abigail have been through a full year. It's nice to make sure they all get a benchmark and can take stock in where they are at the end of the year.
Jack: And last thing Jennifer, the Bearhug event... any update on that?
J-Lo: Yes. We may have been... overly ambitious by announcing it so early. A lot of logistical things we thought were in place that got shifted, then schedules changed... so we're pushing that event to January mainly because of what we have planned for Elyse this month.
Jack: Ah yeah, the 12 Fights of Christmas. Where did that sprout come from?
J-Lo: Elyse and Milana actually each had been raring to get into it again. They're 1-1 in the ring and when Elyse said she wanted Milana on this month's PPV she expressed that she would fight her in "any style." And that got the ball rolling for a holiday themed classic between the two.
Jack: Well it should be exciting, thank you both for joining me. We're going to take a quick break and be back with Elyse and Milana.
Jack: Okay everyone, we're back here with flyweight Elyse Willems and free agent flyweight/bantamweight Milana Vayntrub. Welcome to the show, ladies.
Elyse Willems: Thanks, Jack.
Milana Vayntrub: Thank you, Jack.
Jack: So... 12 fights, the first few of which are slated for tomorrow. Which styles are you two going to do first?
Elyse: We'll be doing three fights over the course of the weekend. We're actually going to get into our catfight tonight. Then we have our submission wrestling and bondage wrestling tomorrow. All three will be released at the same time tomorrow, night though.
Jack: Oh wow, so you two are just hours away from tearing into each other...
Milana: More like minutes. As soon as we leave here we're going over to the Free Punchers facilities so I can kick this b*tch's ass.
Elyse: That's cute. Milana thinks she can just get up off the couch and go 12 fights with me. Not a chance.
Milana: I could roll off the couch and beat the crap out of you.
Elyse: Only if I was lying next to the couch and your fatass landed on me, embedding me into the floor.
Milana: Who are you calling fatass you flat chested, bug-eyed sl*t!
Jack: I don't know what we were thinking getting these two in here right before a fight. Let's just cut this segment short, shall we? If you want to view the first 3 fights of the 12 Fights of Christmas, tune in tomorrow on the official Free Puncher's website. I'm Jack Gordon, signing off before Elyse Willems and Milana Vayntrub start fighting in the studio!
