Intro:
Now it is main event time here on Copacabana Beach, one of the most enduring feuds of the past decade adds another chapter to it's story, Jessica Lowndes and Vanessa Hudgens simply don't like each other, they get another chance to lay into each other and of course hope to lay out their opponent on the sand in front of the world.
This rivalry begun all the way back on 29th July 2013 fittingly on a beach, Jessica knocked out Vanessa in a battle of the then prospects to show early on her talents, it would be two years later that the second chapter between these two enemies would take place with Vanessa losing the FCBA flyweight title by referee stoppage in round 10, hence the birth of the “Conqueror of Nessa” nickname Jessica proudly mentions every time Vanessa is in the discussion, it would be later that year that Vanessa finally got her first win in a JMD fight, knocking out Jessica in nine rounds to break the duck in this feud, since then while they have traded wins it is actually Vanessa who has started to dominate the rivalry.
Before the fight took place both took part in the press conference for the event, Jessica wore a emerald green dress on stage as Vanessa wore black, both of course figure hugging when you have the impressive bodies both do, normally there is a face off photo opportunity for the press, clearly both had been told to stay apart as they simply turned to the cameras in their boxing stances, Vanessa looking the more serious of the two as Jessica has a cocky smirk on her face, telling you despite her record against Nessa, she is confident of taking a step closer to evening that score up.
Once that is out the way seats are placed for each fighter to sit when not at the podium, with Jessica the first to speak her mind as she saunters up to the microphone, hands on either side as she tells the press “so it's that time of year that I get to show whose the boss in the flyweight division, we all know that Nessa usually calls me when she has exhausted the easy options and needs to fight a real star, though why she allowed this to be a beach fight I'll never know, I mean I have my beach body ready for this, I think Nessa needs to get back in the sauna to drop a few pounds before she tries to compare herself to me” laughing as she casts a glance at Hudgens, seeing the cheeks of the beautiful American redden up at that claim.
“I'm going to enjoy scrubbing your pug face in the sand Nessie, see if it'll knock some of the wrinkles off that brow you are creasing up right now” adds Lowndes, who stands beside the podium with her arms out to the side, giving the cameras a look at her stunning good looks as if to prove who is really the alpha woman between them.
Of course Vanessa disagrees as she gets up, staring angrily at Jessica as she tells her “last I checked the fittest fighter in the FCBA was yours truly, also what happened to that pet name you gave yourself? That you are the conqueror of me, funny because last I checked I am the one who has won more fights, I am the one who has kicked your ass across the world, you are simply a jealous cow in my shadow living off past glory” that wipes the smirk off the Canadian beauties face, Jessica glare hatefully at her as she stands.
“While the media won't say it I will, you are a joke Jessica, you brag about beating me when it's been years since you did that, I have the titles, the acclaim and even the acting roles you'd die for, what wa..” Vanessa's brutal verbal takedown of Jessica is interrupted by ironically a double leg takedown by Jessica, who screams “you f**king cow!” hair is yanked as both roll around the stage, heels go flying off, slaps catching ears when one of them is pinned down for a few seconds to buzz the ears of those on top, finally security is able to split them apart after much struggling to boos from the people watching this play out, hissing insults and threats as they leave the stage, it's clear this could be their most venomous fight to date.
Fighting time on the beach, the bleachers are set up around the ringside area, the ring posts have been placed into the sand itself, with several cameras around the ring to capture all the best angles, for this massive fight there are two special guest ring girls as Arianna Celeste and Carly Baker wear skimpy bikinis and are enjoying the atmosphere as they work the crowd walking around the ring before the fight.
Now the sideshow is finished it is time for the fighters, first stepping onto the beach is Jessica wearing her favourite turquoise bikini along with matching gloves, hair tied into a ponytail as she simply is jaw dropping in looks and physique, posing outside the ring with her right arm flexed as her left leg is flexed, winking to the nearest camera, once inside the ring she high fives her coach Claudia Schiffer before getting down to business, warming up bouncing on her toes stretching, she now looks ready for this as she stares ahead.
Here comes Vanessa now, she has her coach Julie Benz following as she looks deeply serious, coming to the ring wearing a purple bikini with matching gloves, her eyes firmly locked onto Jessica as she gets to the ring, stepping inside the squared circle as the crowd begin to chant for both women, Julie gives Vanessa some last minute advice as the American stretches for her warm up,
Referee orders both fighters to the center of the ring, where they square up to each other, even the coaches have a tense stare down of their own as the crowd is electric for this fight, after the instructions are finished both women turn on their heels to return to their corners, no attempt at all for a touch of gloves as these two have no respect for each other, once everything is ready the bell rings to start 10 round of flyweight action.
Round 1:
"Ding" off they go out their corners up on their toes, it's an energetic start as they both step in closer to throw little flurries, eyes burning holes through their opponent when they step back to range, crowd chanting their names as the atmosphere is electric around them.
After a closely fought opening thirty seconds, Jessica lands the first meaningful blow as she feints before sidestepping Vanessa to her right, landing a right across the face of Hudgens followed by a left hook to the body to knock back Nessa onto her heels.
Needing to use her own impressive defences to get away from the ropes before she is pinned to them, Vanessa lands a jab from her corner after being forced backwards, dancing away into space as Jessica looks to drive her backwards, instead Vanessa weathers the early storm to land a one-two through the mitts of Jessica to snap her head back.
Neither is giving up an inch as the round progresses, heads nearly clash as they step in closer to work, both letting their hands go as the "Let's go Vanessa! Let's go Jessica!" Chants seem to get louder, both miss with a punch and end up locked together in a clinch, digging their feet into the sand as they try to shove each other backwards, referee rushing in to pry them apart so they can continue to box and not wrestle.
At the bell it is too close to call, they just about hold back from swinging at each other as they stare for a moment into the others eyes, seeing that iron will they desperately want to break of their rival, returning to their corners with both sets of coaches happy enough with the work rate, not so much the wasted punches thrown.
Round 2:
Using their jabs more to start, these are two of the best flyweights in the world shown by the way they are fencing with their jabs, stepping in to try to set up their punches, with the defensive fighter taking a step back, just missing with counter punches of their own in a chess match in the opening moments.
This time Vanessa catches Jessica out, feinting a jab up top before dipping down to duck a left cross, she thrusts her straight into the breadbasket of Lowndes like it's a saber, then lands an overhand left to the jaw of the Canadian beauty to turn her head, causing Jessica to tighten her guard as she is driven backwards.
Several punches test the abs of Jessica out as she is now being herded along the ropes, not totally subdued as she lands several short cross punches out her guard to keep Hudgens honest here, Vanessa looking the more comfortable as she has the freedom to move and load up her punches, drilling them into spaces she finds in Jessica's guard.
Heading into the final minute of the round, Jessica manages to land a stiff jab to the lips of Vanessa, getting off the ropes as she lands an uppercut into the body of her hated rival, Jessica starting to drive back Nessa towards the middle of the ring, the beach already looking a ploughed field from all the movement of the fighters around it, Vanessa gives Jessica a little nudge to open up a gap, both grind foreheads together as they work away on the inside to a loud roar up until the bell dings.
As they push apart to return to their corners, Carly Baker is going around with the round card as workers busily rake the sand flatter again as these two might dig a pit inside the ring with all the sand they are kicking up knocking each other around it.
Round 3:
After that solid round for Hudgens, she is trying to press the action early on with more one-two's, catching Jessica with a few but getting clubbed back when she misses with a right cross landing on her cheek to turn her head, Jessica using the opening to bully back Nessa to the ropes with a well worked body drill, piston like punches slamming into the abs of the Lookout! Fighter.
When Vanessa is near the ropes she pulls Jessica into a clinch, Jessica sneakily hooks her right calf with her left leg to trip Vanessa onto her backside; nearly taking her with her, referee warns Jessica to keep it clean as Vanessa looks furious, punching the sand before she stands back up.
Resuming fighting Jessica might regret her trick as Vanessa ducks a right cross to hammer in two short uppercuts to the body, then lands a clubbing left hook up top to the side of Jessica's head, the American pressing Jessica into a neutral corner, where Lowndes is now the one clinching up, referee having to step in to break up these two glistening goddesses.
Less then a minute to go and it's another closely fought affair like the opening round, each lands a good flurry to work their opponent's backwards before being held, then they break apart and momentum swings around, both fighters cheeks are being marked up as they are taking more flush punches to their beautiful faces.
When the round comes to an end they bump shoulders as they march to their corners, frustration written on their faces as they listen to their coaches, eyes locked across the ring moments later as the hatred is clear as the sky at Copacabana is, standing up early banging their gloves together as they look keen to get back to it.
Round 4:
Maybe realising she needed to adapt her tactics a little or just seeing a few different openings, Jessica is moving back more when Vanessa comes at her, landing some nice counters as she uses her slight reach advantage to pepper the face of her rival, boxing around the ring kicking up more sand around them.
A counter right catches Vanessa across her face after Jessica sidesteps a jab, as Vanessa is on the back foot a double jab slams into her nose, making her cover up more tightly as Jessica starts to open up on her, an almost look of glee on the face of Lowndes as she now holds the middle of the ring, herding Hudgens around the outside of the ring.
Vanessa shows she has fight banging in a few good punches off the ropes, but she is eating some harder shots from Jessica to put her back into her shell, the Hudgens fans in full voice as they will her to fight back, problem is Jessica doesn't look in the mood to let her as she switches up her punches nicely, enjoying the most hitting the abs of Vanessa to make her grit her mouthpiece.
Forty seconds to go Vanessa times her counter attack beautifully as she deflects a straight, then pounds in a left cross up top, turning the head of her opponent before lifting it up with an uppercut as Vanessa now powers forwards, almost pushing over Lowndes as she earns a warning, showing how much she wants to win as she backs up Jessica to the opposite set of ropes to where she was.
Round comes to a close with Nessa on top but she knows that Jessica earned that round, Vanessa stews in her corner as Julie is telling her to keep her cool, Arianna Celeste walks around the ring as Jessica is being told to keep the pressure on Vanessa, nodding with a grin as that's her favourite thing to do, well that and battering down Nessa into the sand.
Round 5:
Even with this pace they have set from the off under the hot sun, both are supremely fit as shown by them still going hard from the bell, in close working away as Vanessa looks to push back Jessica after a bad round for her, getting told to watch her head when she nearly headbutts Jessica on her chin.
Pushing back Nessa with her left forearm, Jessica lands two hard hooks starting with a short right to the cheek of her rival, the left lands on the lips of Hudgens opening a small cut on the bottom one, giving Nessa a reason to glare at Jessica as they stare hard behind their gloves.
Half way through the round with again both trading hard shots as they fight around the middle of the ring, JESSICA LANDS A SHORT UPPERCUT THAT OPENS UP THE GUARD OF VANESSA, LEFT HOOK TO THE EAR SENDS HUDGENS DOWN ONTO HER SIDE TO A LOUD CHEER!
Jessica raises her arms in the air with a wiggle of her bum as she heads to the neutral corner, 1...2...3... Vanessa shakes her head as she turns to all fours, 4...5...6.. Pushing to her knees, looking furious as she dusts her abs off with her right, 7...8.. Pushing to her feet, banging her gloves together as she yells "come on then bytch!" To cheers, showing she isn't done yet, referee wipes her gloves down to let them fight on.
While Hudgens wants more; Lowndes is happy to give it to her as she feints before landing a straight down the barrel right into the face of Vanessa, the American being forced onto the back foot as Jessica is looking in destroy mode right now, driving her around the outside of the ring till the bell rings to end the round, a hell of a statement from Jessica as she has swagger to her step now, Vanessa getting washed down of sand as she is steaming on her stool at being put down.
Round 6:
Thudding her gloves before she comes out, Vanessa dances more side to side as she sees Jessica come right towards her, Jessica not after waiting wanting to knock her out clean, throwing in some power punches that just miss as Vanessa dances out the way in time.
Not to say Vanessa is running away, she comes in closer after a right hook misses the mark on her, landing two short uppercuts to the body, pressing back Jessica towards the ropes before she is held onto, rabbit punches coming in from Jessica as the dirty boxing kicks off, referee now giving Jessica a warning for hitting behind the head.
Those rabbit punches down deter Vanessa from going inside the reach of Jessica, past the half way point of the round she slips a straight to hammer in a left hook to the ribs that makes her opponent hiss, THEN HER UPPERCUT CATCHES JESSICA FLUSH ON THE CHIN, SENDING HER DOWN TO HER BACK!
The Nessa chants break out as she yells "come on!" To the crowd on her way to the neutral corner, 1...2...3.. Jessica props herself up onto her elbows, blinking as she looks buzzed, 4....5...6.. Pushing herself up to her knees, Jessica mouths "f**k" as she knows how Vanessa felt only a round ago, 7...8.. She is up now with fists raised, referee checks and gives her gloves a wipe after saying she can fight on.
Vanessa now drives forwards as Jessica goes a little into her shell, the body shots of Hudgens come thudding in as she doesn't want to give Jessica a moment to breath, the bell soon rings with Vanessa saying "you're going down bytch" heated words being exchanged as the referee gets between them, coaches herding them back to their corners as they look ready to pull off the gloves.
Round 7:
Out the gates comes Vanessa hard as she switches up her targets nicely, Jessica not landing too many punches cleanly as she is not using her jab as much as she should, leading to another uppercut ripping through her guard to snap her head back.
Bodied into her own corner, Jessica is looking in trouble as she is shipping punches through her guard, referee stepping in closer as Jessica desperately clinches up at the urging of Claudia, Vanessa trying to break free as she forces her head under the chin of Lowndes again, earning her a final warning that she'll lose a point if she keeps that up.
Fighting around the ring, Jessica is holding on more as Vanessa is ripping in some hard body shots, looking to open the guard up of her rival to finish this now, she is looking furious being held into as much, tripping up Jessica as she was earlier in the fight and claiming it was an accident, maybe naïvely the referee gives her the benefit of the doubt or they are worried about being booed for deducting a point in this grudge fight with a raucous crowd baying for blood.
They get some as Jessica has a cut on the bridge of her nose to add to her woes this round, this is simply an ass kicking as she is backing off Vanessa, the round soon ends with most agreeing this was a shut out, Jessica cutting a furlong figure as she heads to her stool, Claudia screaming "I didn't know you were afraid of her!" Yelling other insults about her own fighter as she works on the cut, while unconventional it seems to work as Jessica has fire in her eyes.
Round 8:
Pushing off their stools, they exchange around the center more meaty punches, feet being planted more for extra power, this time it's Vanessa missing more as she looks to end it now, instead she takes a hard right hook flush on her jaw to rock her back two steps, Claudia yelling at Jessica to get her.
Without needing an invite Jessica starts to shove back Vanessa onto the ropes, landing a left then right hook to the face of Vanessa, who hangs onto her now, roles reversed from the last round as Jessica gets warned for more rabbit punches behind the head of Nessa, pundits almost betting on who loses a point first.
There's swelling around the left eye of Vanessa, something Jessica looks to work on as she hammers in her punches from range, looking much more composed now she is the hunter, stepping back when Hudgens throws looping punches to land counter punches to send back the head of the American fighter.
Needing to clinch up again as she is worked into her own corner, it might be lucky Vanessa can't see her coach as Julie covers her mouth, looking scared for her fighter, who is now being beaten from pillar to post by the woman she may very well hate the most in the world right now, don't tell Michelle Williams that.
The round ends with Vanessa happy to see her stool, Julie working on patching her up as Jessica grins as she heads to her own corner, though she'd be lying right now if she were to say she isn't hurting, both women getting cleaned up as they don't look in each others direction, knowing this fight is too close to call, the crowd barely seem to notice the ring girls now as they are discussing who is going to win this war.
Round 9:
Taking a deep breath before they step out their corners, Vanessa is definitely boxing more defensive, allowing Jessica to be the one hunting her as they thrust in their jabs in gaps forming in defenses, Vanessa managing to show she won't be pushed around so easily as she slips a right to land a left hook to the body, just missing with the uppercut as Jessica learned her lesson from before.
Jessica lands a jab into the chest of Vanessa, opening up her guard for a straight into her nose to snap back the head of the American, Vanessa being worked back onto the ropes, bum clenching when hooks rip into her body from the proud Lioness Club fighter, who is swinging more from her hips to generate power before being held onto.
Back they go with Vanessa landing a few drilling punches into the body of Jessica, taking some good hits back into her own face for her troubles, it's hard for Hudgens to make up ground as Jessica is looking supremely confident now, with that Lowndes lands a one-two square into the face of her smaller opponent to snap her head backwards.
Not long to go, Vanessa ducks under a left hook, hammering in a right to the solar plexus of Jessica to make her groan, an overhand left cracks Jessica on her jaw to send sweat flying off her now, Nessa not wasting time as she powers forwards, driving Jessica into the ropes when she has the bigger fighter covering up, still punches find a home through the guard, two left hooks bang into the ribs of Jessica then an overhand right lands to her ear just before the round ends.
Both head to their corners with gloves on their hips, taking in air as they sit on their stools, this is where their coaches earn their money as both get a pep talk before the final round, standing up to a cheer from the crowd, eyes locked across the ring as they still look as determined as they did when they stepped into the ring at the start.
Round 10:
No touch of gloves to show respect for the others fighting spirit, they simply get down to business as they both throw in hard shots, Jessica lands a stiff double jab to push back Vanessa a step, just missing with a right hook as Nessa dips out the way just in time.
Moving into space as Jessica hunts after her foe, a missed right though misses Vanessa's head, she comes back with a right flush into the liver area of Jessica, who grits her mouthpiece as she backs off, A LEFT HOOK CATCHES JESSICA ON HER CHIN BEFORE A RIGHT CROSS FOLLOWS TO SEND HER DOWN TO HER BACK!
No celebrations yet from Hudgens as her supporters go wild in the bleachers, 1...2...3...4.. Jessica groans as she slowly turns to all fours, 5...6.. Breathing harder as that liver shot did some real damage there, 7...8...9.. Beating the count barely, Jessica lifts her gloves up with a wince, referee asks if she can fight on, getting a nod as her gloves are wiped down.
Resuming fighting with Jessica now trying to box defensively, her jab has either lost its sting or Vanessa's rush of adrenaline is letting her walk through the punches of Lowndes, a left hook slams into the ribs of Jessica, then a right near that liver again, Jessica cries out as she is being bullied to the ropes, GUARD IS WIDE OPEN AS A RIGHT HOOK TURNS JESSICA'S HEAD, SHE LOOKS TO BE SITTING IN THE ROPES AS NESSA PUNISHES HER WITH HOOKS TILL THE REFEREE CAN PULL HER OFF, WAVING THE FIGHT OFF AS JESSICA IS LOOKING A MESS!
Winner Vanessa Hudgens TKO Round 10
After:
The crowd is on it's feet roaring and applauding both women, these two don't need titles to fight their hardest against each other, pride is all that matters to them and right now Jessica is sobbing as hers has taken a big dent thanks to Vanessa extending her lead in this rivalry.
Things aren't getting any better as Vanessa actually pushes the referee aside, locks in a muay Thai style clinch and rifles her right knee into the stomach of Jessica, who coughs as her gumshield comes out, falling to all fours as Vanessa yells "you have never been in my league!" Furious that she was pushed once more by Lowndes.
Claudia is yelling "get the f**k away from her!" But before she can get into the ring in time, Vanessa has her gloves off and has kicked Jessica to her back, mounting the beaten woman's chest as she slaps her, saying "you are done Jessica *slap* I f**king own your ass! *slap* you'll never say you conquered me anymore!" She doesn't get off another slap as Claudia manages to push Vanessa off Jessica.
Referee needing to cool things off as Julie comes in screaming at Claudia that Vanessa earned the right to get her point across, security actually steps in to help keep the warring camps apart as Jessica is almost the forgotten woman in this equation, the ringside doctor checking her over as her cheeks are beetroot red from the slaps, tears streaming down her face as she sits up.
Helping Jessica up to her feet, with help from the doctor the Lioness Club crew retreat from the ring, furious and seemingly not done with Vanessa or the Lookout stable, Jessica snarls "I'll f**king break her next time we fight" though right now she looks broken herself after that fight, head down as she walks off the beach.
In the ring Vanessa goes on a victory lap to loud chants of her name, tapping her abs as she yells "f**k Jessica and for that matter screw Michelle!" Clearly fired up for another fight with a hated rival, Julie all smiles even as only ten minutes ago she was looking scared Vanessa would be the one taking a post fight beat down, instead she gets the joy of watching her protégé celebrating another massive victory.
Posing for photos with her taped fists raised, Vanessa grins after loosing her hair from her ponytail, she is looking ready to challenge the rest of the division by the looks of it, Julie patting her on the back when she is done, joking "we better get the smell of loser washed off you from Jessica" both laughing cruelly.
Heading out the ring, Vanessa gives the crowd a final bow before leaving the beach, a hell of a fight to end an exciting card of action, Vanessa will be opening a bottle of champagne tonight to celebrate this latest win over Lowndes.

“While the media won't say it I will, you are a joke Jessica, you brag about beating me when it's been years since you did that, I have the titles, the acclaim and even the acting roles you'd die for, what wa..” Vanessa's brutal verbal takedown of Jessica is interrupted by ironically a double leg takedown by Jessica, who screams “you f**king cow!” hair is yanked as both roll around the stage, heels go flying off, slaps catching ears when one of them is pinned down for a few seconds to buzz the ears of those on top, finally security is able to split them apart after much struggling to boos from the people watching this play out, hissing insults and threats as they leave the stage, it's clear this could be their most venomous fight to date.
Fighting time on the beach, the bleachers are set up around the ringside area, the ring posts have been placed into the sand itself, with several cameras around the ring to capture all the best angles, for this massive fight there are two special guest ring girls as Arianna Celeste and Carly Baker wear skimpy bikinis and are enjoying the atmosphere as they work the crowd walking around the ring before the fight.
Now the sideshow is finished it is time for the fighters, first stepping onto the beach is Jessica wearing her favourite turquoise bikini along with matching gloves, hair tied into a ponytail as she simply is jaw dropping in looks and physique, posing outside the ring with her right arm flexed as her left leg is flexed, winking to the nearest camera, once inside the ring she high fives her coach Claudia Schiffer before getting down to business, warming up bouncing on her toes stretching, she now looks ready for this as she stares ahead.
Here comes Vanessa now, she has her coach Julie Benz following as she looks deeply serious, coming to the ring wearing a purple bikini with matching gloves, her eyes firmly locked onto Jessica as she gets to the ring, stepping inside the squared circle as the crowd begin to chant for both women, Julie gives Vanessa some last minute advice as the American stretches for her warm up,
Referee orders both fighters to the center of the ring, where they square up to each other, even the coaches have a tense stare down of their own as the crowd is electric for this fight, after the instructions are finished both women turn on their heels to return to their corners, no attempt at all for a touch of gloves as these two have no respect for each other, once everything is ready the bell rings to start 10 round of flyweight action.
Round 1:
"Ding" off they go out their corners up on their toes, it's an energetic start as they both step in closer to throw little flurries, eyes burning holes through their opponent when they step back to range, crowd chanting their names as the atmosphere is electric around them.
After a closely fought opening thirty seconds, Jessica lands the first meaningful blow as she feints before sidestepping Vanessa to her right, landing a right across the face of Hudgens followed by a left hook to the body to knock back Nessa onto her heels.
Needing to use her own impressive defences to get away from the ropes before she is pinned to them, Vanessa lands a jab from her corner after being forced backwards, dancing away into space as Jessica looks to drive her backwards, instead Vanessa weathers the early storm to land a one-two through the mitts of Jessica to snap her head back.
Neither is giving up an inch as the round progresses, heads nearly clash as they step in closer to work, both letting their hands go as the "Let's go Vanessa! Let's go Jessica!" Chants seem to get louder, both miss with a punch and end up locked together in a clinch, digging their feet into the sand as they try to shove each other backwards, referee rushing in to pry them apart so they can continue to box and not wrestle.
At the bell it is too close to call, they just about hold back from swinging at each other as they stare for a moment into the others eyes, seeing that iron will they desperately want to break of their rival, returning to their corners with both sets of coaches happy enough with the work rate, not so much the wasted punches thrown.
Round 2:
Using their jabs more to start, these are two of the best flyweights in the world shown by the way they are fencing with their jabs, stepping in to try to set up their punches, with the defensive fighter taking a step back, just missing with counter punches of their own in a chess match in the opening moments.
This time Vanessa catches Jessica out, feinting a jab up top before dipping down to duck a left cross, she thrusts her straight into the breadbasket of Lowndes like it's a saber, then lands an overhand left to the jaw of the Canadian beauty to turn her head, causing Jessica to tighten her guard as she is driven backwards.
Several punches test the abs of Jessica out as she is now being herded along the ropes, not totally subdued as she lands several short cross punches out her guard to keep Hudgens honest here, Vanessa looking the more comfortable as she has the freedom to move and load up her punches, drilling them into spaces she finds in Jessica's guard.
Heading into the final minute of the round, Jessica manages to land a stiff jab to the lips of Vanessa, getting off the ropes as she lands an uppercut into the body of her hated rival, Jessica starting to drive back Nessa towards the middle of the ring, the beach already looking a ploughed field from all the movement of the fighters around it, Vanessa gives Jessica a little nudge to open up a gap, both grind foreheads together as they work away on the inside to a loud roar up until the bell dings.
As they push apart to return to their corners, Carly Baker is going around with the round card as workers busily rake the sand flatter again as these two might dig a pit inside the ring with all the sand they are kicking up knocking each other around it.
Round 3:
After that solid round for Hudgens, she is trying to press the action early on with more one-two's, catching Jessica with a few but getting clubbed back when she misses with a right cross landing on her cheek to turn her head, Jessica using the opening to bully back Nessa to the ropes with a well worked body drill, piston like punches slamming into the abs of the Lookout! Fighter.
When Vanessa is near the ropes she pulls Jessica into a clinch, Jessica sneakily hooks her right calf with her left leg to trip Vanessa onto her backside; nearly taking her with her, referee warns Jessica to keep it clean as Vanessa looks furious, punching the sand before she stands back up.
Resuming fighting Jessica might regret her trick as Vanessa ducks a right cross to hammer in two short uppercuts to the body, then lands a clubbing left hook up top to the side of Jessica's head, the American pressing Jessica into a neutral corner, where Lowndes is now the one clinching up, referee having to step in to break up these two glistening goddesses.
Less then a minute to go and it's another closely fought affair like the opening round, each lands a good flurry to work their opponent's backwards before being held, then they break apart and momentum swings around, both fighters cheeks are being marked up as they are taking more flush punches to their beautiful faces.
When the round comes to an end they bump shoulders as they march to their corners, frustration written on their faces as they listen to their coaches, eyes locked across the ring moments later as the hatred is clear as the sky at Copacabana is, standing up early banging their gloves together as they look keen to get back to it.
Round 4:
Maybe realising she needed to adapt her tactics a little or just seeing a few different openings, Jessica is moving back more when Vanessa comes at her, landing some nice counters as she uses her slight reach advantage to pepper the face of her rival, boxing around the ring kicking up more sand around them.
A counter right catches Vanessa across her face after Jessica sidesteps a jab, as Vanessa is on the back foot a double jab slams into her nose, making her cover up more tightly as Jessica starts to open up on her, an almost look of glee on the face of Lowndes as she now holds the middle of the ring, herding Hudgens around the outside of the ring.
Vanessa shows she has fight banging in a few good punches off the ropes, but she is eating some harder shots from Jessica to put her back into her shell, the Hudgens fans in full voice as they will her to fight back, problem is Jessica doesn't look in the mood to let her as she switches up her punches nicely, enjoying the most hitting the abs of Vanessa to make her grit her mouthpiece.
Forty seconds to go Vanessa times her counter attack beautifully as she deflects a straight, then pounds in a left cross up top, turning the head of her opponent before lifting it up with an uppercut as Vanessa now powers forwards, almost pushing over Lowndes as she earns a warning, showing how much she wants to win as she backs up Jessica to the opposite set of ropes to where she was.
Round comes to a close with Nessa on top but she knows that Jessica earned that round, Vanessa stews in her corner as Julie is telling her to keep her cool, Arianna Celeste walks around the ring as Jessica is being told to keep the pressure on Vanessa, nodding with a grin as that's her favourite thing to do, well that and battering down Nessa into the sand.
Round 5:
Even with this pace they have set from the off under the hot sun, both are supremely fit as shown by them still going hard from the bell, in close working away as Vanessa looks to push back Jessica after a bad round for her, getting told to watch her head when she nearly headbutts Jessica on her chin.
Pushing back Nessa with her left forearm, Jessica lands two hard hooks starting with a short right to the cheek of her rival, the left lands on the lips of Hudgens opening a small cut on the bottom one, giving Nessa a reason to glare at Jessica as they stare hard behind their gloves.
Half way through the round with again both trading hard shots as they fight around the middle of the ring, JESSICA LANDS A SHORT UPPERCUT THAT OPENS UP THE GUARD OF VANESSA, LEFT HOOK TO THE EAR SENDS HUDGENS DOWN ONTO HER SIDE TO A LOUD CHEER!
Jessica raises her arms in the air with a wiggle of her bum as she heads to the neutral corner, 1...2...3... Vanessa shakes her head as she turns to all fours, 4...5...6.. Pushing to her knees, looking furious as she dusts her abs off with her right, 7...8.. Pushing to her feet, banging her gloves together as she yells "come on then bytch!" To cheers, showing she isn't done yet, referee wipes her gloves down to let them fight on.
While Hudgens wants more; Lowndes is happy to give it to her as she feints before landing a straight down the barrel right into the face of Vanessa, the American being forced onto the back foot as Jessica is looking in destroy mode right now, driving her around the outside of the ring till the bell rings to end the round, a hell of a statement from Jessica as she has swagger to her step now, Vanessa getting washed down of sand as she is steaming on her stool at being put down.
Round 6:
Thudding her gloves before she comes out, Vanessa dances more side to side as she sees Jessica come right towards her, Jessica not after waiting wanting to knock her out clean, throwing in some power punches that just miss as Vanessa dances out the way in time.
Not to say Vanessa is running away, she comes in closer after a right hook misses the mark on her, landing two short uppercuts to the body, pressing back Jessica towards the ropes before she is held onto, rabbit punches coming in from Jessica as the dirty boxing kicks off, referee now giving Jessica a warning for hitting behind the head.
Those rabbit punches down deter Vanessa from going inside the reach of Jessica, past the half way point of the round she slips a straight to hammer in a left hook to the ribs that makes her opponent hiss, THEN HER UPPERCUT CATCHES JESSICA FLUSH ON THE CHIN, SENDING HER DOWN TO HER BACK!
The Nessa chants break out as she yells "come on!" To the crowd on her way to the neutral corner, 1...2...3.. Jessica props herself up onto her elbows, blinking as she looks buzzed, 4....5...6.. Pushing herself up to her knees, Jessica mouths "f**k" as she knows how Vanessa felt only a round ago, 7...8.. She is up now with fists raised, referee checks and gives her gloves a wipe after saying she can fight on.
Vanessa now drives forwards as Jessica goes a little into her shell, the body shots of Hudgens come thudding in as she doesn't want to give Jessica a moment to breath, the bell soon rings with Vanessa saying "you're going down bytch" heated words being exchanged as the referee gets between them, coaches herding them back to their corners as they look ready to pull off the gloves.
Round 7:
Out the gates comes Vanessa hard as she switches up her targets nicely, Jessica not landing too many punches cleanly as she is not using her jab as much as she should, leading to another uppercut ripping through her guard to snap her head back.
Bodied into her own corner, Jessica is looking in trouble as she is shipping punches through her guard, referee stepping in closer as Jessica desperately clinches up at the urging of Claudia, Vanessa trying to break free as she forces her head under the chin of Lowndes again, earning her a final warning that she'll lose a point if she keeps that up.
Fighting around the ring, Jessica is holding on more as Vanessa is ripping in some hard body shots, looking to open the guard up of her rival to finish this now, she is looking furious being held into as much, tripping up Jessica as she was earlier in the fight and claiming it was an accident, maybe naïvely the referee gives her the benefit of the doubt or they are worried about being booed for deducting a point in this grudge fight with a raucous crowd baying for blood.
They get some as Jessica has a cut on the bridge of her nose to add to her woes this round, this is simply an ass kicking as she is backing off Vanessa, the round soon ends with most agreeing this was a shut out, Jessica cutting a furlong figure as she heads to her stool, Claudia screaming "I didn't know you were afraid of her!" Yelling other insults about her own fighter as she works on the cut, while unconventional it seems to work as Jessica has fire in her eyes.
Round 8:
Pushing off their stools, they exchange around the center more meaty punches, feet being planted more for extra power, this time it's Vanessa missing more as she looks to end it now, instead she takes a hard right hook flush on her jaw to rock her back two steps, Claudia yelling at Jessica to get her.
Without needing an invite Jessica starts to shove back Vanessa onto the ropes, landing a left then right hook to the face of Vanessa, who hangs onto her now, roles reversed from the last round as Jessica gets warned for more rabbit punches behind the head of Nessa, pundits almost betting on who loses a point first.
There's swelling around the left eye of Vanessa, something Jessica looks to work on as she hammers in her punches from range, looking much more composed now she is the hunter, stepping back when Hudgens throws looping punches to land counter punches to send back the head of the American fighter.
Needing to clinch up again as she is worked into her own corner, it might be lucky Vanessa can't see her coach as Julie covers her mouth, looking scared for her fighter, who is now being beaten from pillar to post by the woman she may very well hate the most in the world right now, don't tell Michelle Williams that.
The round ends with Vanessa happy to see her stool, Julie working on patching her up as Jessica grins as she heads to her own corner, though she'd be lying right now if she were to say she isn't hurting, both women getting cleaned up as they don't look in each others direction, knowing this fight is too close to call, the crowd barely seem to notice the ring girls now as they are discussing who is going to win this war.
Round 9:
Taking a deep breath before they step out their corners, Vanessa is definitely boxing more defensive, allowing Jessica to be the one hunting her as they thrust in their jabs in gaps forming in defenses, Vanessa managing to show she won't be pushed around so easily as she slips a right to land a left hook to the body, just missing with the uppercut as Jessica learned her lesson from before.
Jessica lands a jab into the chest of Vanessa, opening up her guard for a straight into her nose to snap back the head of the American, Vanessa being worked back onto the ropes, bum clenching when hooks rip into her body from the proud Lioness Club fighter, who is swinging more from her hips to generate power before being held onto.
Back they go with Vanessa landing a few drilling punches into the body of Jessica, taking some good hits back into her own face for her troubles, it's hard for Hudgens to make up ground as Jessica is looking supremely confident now, with that Lowndes lands a one-two square into the face of her smaller opponent to snap her head backwards.
Not long to go, Vanessa ducks under a left hook, hammering in a right to the solar plexus of Jessica to make her groan, an overhand left cracks Jessica on her jaw to send sweat flying off her now, Nessa not wasting time as she powers forwards, driving Jessica into the ropes when she has the bigger fighter covering up, still punches find a home through the guard, two left hooks bang into the ribs of Jessica then an overhand right lands to her ear just before the round ends.
Both head to their corners with gloves on their hips, taking in air as they sit on their stools, this is where their coaches earn their money as both get a pep talk before the final round, standing up to a cheer from the crowd, eyes locked across the ring as they still look as determined as they did when they stepped into the ring at the start.
Round 10:
No touch of gloves to show respect for the others fighting spirit, they simply get down to business as they both throw in hard shots, Jessica lands a stiff double jab to push back Vanessa a step, just missing with a right hook as Nessa dips out the way just in time.
Moving into space as Jessica hunts after her foe, a missed right though misses Vanessa's head, she comes back with a right flush into the liver area of Jessica, who grits her mouthpiece as she backs off, A LEFT HOOK CATCHES JESSICA ON HER CHIN BEFORE A RIGHT CROSS FOLLOWS TO SEND HER DOWN TO HER BACK!
No celebrations yet from Hudgens as her supporters go wild in the bleachers, 1...2...3...4.. Jessica groans as she slowly turns to all fours, 5...6.. Breathing harder as that liver shot did some real damage there, 7...8...9.. Beating the count barely, Jessica lifts her gloves up with a wince, referee asks if she can fight on, getting a nod as her gloves are wiped down.
Resuming fighting with Jessica now trying to box defensively, her jab has either lost its sting or Vanessa's rush of adrenaline is letting her walk through the punches of Lowndes, a left hook slams into the ribs of Jessica, then a right near that liver again, Jessica cries out as she is being bullied to the ropes, GUARD IS WIDE OPEN AS A RIGHT HOOK TURNS JESSICA'S HEAD, SHE LOOKS TO BE SITTING IN THE ROPES AS NESSA PUNISHES HER WITH HOOKS TILL THE REFEREE CAN PULL HER OFF, WAVING THE FIGHT OFF AS JESSICA IS LOOKING A MESS!
Winner Vanessa Hudgens TKO Round 10
After:
The crowd is on it's feet roaring and applauding both women, these two don't need titles to fight their hardest against each other, pride is all that matters to them and right now Jessica is sobbing as hers has taken a big dent thanks to Vanessa extending her lead in this rivalry.
Things aren't getting any better as Vanessa actually pushes the referee aside, locks in a muay Thai style clinch and rifles her right knee into the stomach of Jessica, who coughs as her gumshield comes out, falling to all fours as Vanessa yells "you have never been in my league!" Furious that she was pushed once more by Lowndes.
Claudia is yelling "get the f**k away from her!" But before she can get into the ring in time, Vanessa has her gloves off and has kicked Jessica to her back, mounting the beaten woman's chest as she slaps her, saying "you are done Jessica *slap* I f**king own your ass! *slap* you'll never say you conquered me anymore!" She doesn't get off another slap as Claudia manages to push Vanessa off Jessica.
Referee needing to cool things off as Julie comes in screaming at Claudia that Vanessa earned the right to get her point across, security actually steps in to help keep the warring camps apart as Jessica is almost the forgotten woman in this equation, the ringside doctor checking her over as her cheeks are beetroot red from the slaps, tears streaming down her face as she sits up.
Helping Jessica up to her feet, with help from the doctor the Lioness Club crew retreat from the ring, furious and seemingly not done with Vanessa or the Lookout stable, Jessica snarls "I'll f**king break her next time we fight" though right now she looks broken herself after that fight, head down as she walks off the beach.
In the ring Vanessa goes on a victory lap to loud chants of her name, tapping her abs as she yells "f**k Jessica and for that matter screw Michelle!" Clearly fired up for another fight with a hated rival, Julie all smiles even as only ten minutes ago she was looking scared Vanessa would be the one taking a post fight beat down, instead she gets the joy of watching her protégé celebrating another massive victory.
Posing for photos with her taped fists raised, Vanessa grins after loosing her hair from her ponytail, she is looking ready to challenge the rest of the division by the looks of it, Julie patting her on the back when she is done, joking "we better get the smell of loser washed off you from Jessica" both laughing cruelly.
Heading out the ring, Vanessa gives the crowd a final bow before leaving the beach, a hell of a fight to end an exciting card of action, Vanessa will be opening a bottle of champagne tonight to celebrate this latest win over Lowndes.
