TESS VALMORE
BARROS/VAN DER GRAAF. This is a barbaric nude, body paint JMDD bout that defy’s all aspects of civilized society. Smackey has already bought a ringside seat and it trying to be a cornerman. He’ll see more of them in two minutes than he has seen of me in five years. I don’t do JMDD
DIDONATO/PRINSLOO DiDonato has a 34-14 career record. She is having a little off year (for her) being 5-3 this year with two of those losses being to Kendall Jenner. Prinsloo comes in with a 14-13 record and is 1-3 since the beginning of last year. Two of her losses were to Upton and Gillan. DiDonato will win in five or less
H.DAVIS/B.LIVELY. Davis has a 8-10 career record and has won four of her last five over average opponents. Lively is a veteran of 13 years of FCBA activity. She was the lightweight champ back in 2016 and successfully defended the title three times That was then, this is now. She has lost four of her last five. She hasn’t had a winning year since 2018. I have not been impressed with Davis’s competition. To win, Davis needs to take Lively deep. All four of Lively’s last losses have come in round seven. Davis hasn’t gone as far as seven since August 2018. Davis is a welter, Lively a lightweight. I’m going to take a chance on Lively.
SWIFT/HILL. This is a huge fight with definite title bout implications. This is very poor timing on the part of Swift. She has to face Winstead in a saddle bout in the PPV 12 days later. Swift is 7-3 for the year. She has won five of her last six with the defeat being to Kate Upton who she beat earlier in the year. Hill has a 28-4 record and has beaten some top lightweights. In general, her competition hasn’t been quite as good as Swift’s. This is a 50/50 fight. Hill is one of my favorite Front Street fighters and I would like to see her win but believe it will be Swift who wins.
OLSEN/B.THORNE. Olsen has a 5-2 record for the year, but has won eight of her last ten. Fates seems to like putting pressure on his stable. Like Swift, she has a tough fight on the PPV twelve days later. She has to face Scodelario. Having to face Thorne and Scodelario in twelve days is not my idea of fun. Thorne is not having a good year. She did hold the bantam crown for less than a month at the beginning of the year. She has lost four of seven this year. She did beat Olsen last year in an epic twelve round bout. I think this is another 50/50 bout. I’m going to go with Thorne to repeat her win over Olsen
