Let's not forget, while Demi's potential 10th straight beach win is a historic achievement, Naomi is only the third woman to hold down the bantamweight title for five defenses. The last time it was done was in 2006, during Rachel McAdams's record setting 8-defense. Indeed, she has already surpassed the best performance of Hall of Famers Danielle Fishel, Britney Spears, Claire Danes, and Neve Campbell. Truly this is a clash of the titans!

It is historic because a bantamweight has NEVER done it. It is historic even if you don't want it to be. It is historic even if you don't think the fighter doing it is worthy of it. Hawk, in any stable other than HISC, the third longest bantamweight title reign would be historic. In this case, a sixth win here would match Mishy’s SECOND best performance as flyweight champion. She’d still be behind Eliza’s seven defense run, and Mishy’s record-setting 8 defense dominion over the flyweights. Naomi is still in the “nice first run” region
