03 JULY 2002 ALI LANDRY VS STACY KEIBLER   Boxing After Dark (Non-Title Bout) Posted by Simguy on 7/3/2002, 7:30 am. Before: Fuentes dismissal sending shockwaves through SWO—Landry more of a franchise fighter, but she gets the message: “I thought Daisy was untouchable,” says Ali, but she came up lame and “The Man’ had to shot her. I can’t afford to stumble against a Stacy Keibler—nobody’s going to tolerate me struggling against her,” Keibs with a fine pair of boxing wheels, much improved if WWE training tapes can be believed—she’s going to tested tonight by a very focused welterweight champion. Keibler in baby blue bikini, pigtails, Ali in red tankini. During R1: Landry fading her girl early, stepping out, luring Stacy forward, Keibler showing a nice spearing stick, but reaching with the right hand and Ali makes her pay.. Sudden, licking counter right hand over the jab—Keibs all funked up, reeling, trying to find her feet—Ali reloads ad PLOWS home a blockbuster right across the chops. Keibler’s head goes one way as her outstretched arms and body face the other way—blonde hits canvas in a broken pile of long limbs as brunette stalks away. Keib bests the count, but she’s SO woozy—Landry marches in. Big brunette beat down—Landry very patient, knows she’s got her girl swooning, works that body to take away those legs. Crunching, bashing shots t the belly and ribs—Landry getting her left forearm into Stacy’s chest to heave her back into the ropes—Keibs just soaking up a thumping to the bell. At the break, a saucy champ hugs up and taunts, “legs aren’t looking so hot NOW Stacy.” Blubbery pout from the blonde in response. R2: Keibler showing some heart—she’s desperately hurt, left side of her face already lumpy from right hands and clearly hobbled in the body. Nevertheless, she’s jabbing from a strong flat footed stance, pivoting to her left—her stick sounding out loud and crisp against Ali’s blocking guard. Landry the consummate veteran, hangs back, steps out on Stacy’s right lets the blonde start to reach. Final minute, Ali with a beautiful little shoulder roll slips the Keibler right, comes back with another whistling right hand counter—Stacy taking it on the chin, back leg flying forward as she almost takes a seat. Ali bending low on follow through, leans back, misses the follow up hook, then drives forward again, catching ALL of Stacy’s jaw with another monster cross. Keibs catching Mad Cow disease, stomping mindlessly then pitching forward to her hands and knees—OH, she’s hurt. Once again, gutty blonde shakes off some incredible punishment to get out of the round—but she’s all but ruined. R3: Landry on the march, hands at stomach level as she wades in—she dips right, outside Stacy’s pushy jab, jabs back into Stacy’s chest to get the blonde leaning backwards and CLOCKS over the top with another blistering right! Keibs taking flush on her face, toppling to the ropes. Stacy’s legs stiff, hands outstretched , pleading look on shell shocked face as Landry marauds in—jab, jab RIGHT HAND! Booming cross bends Keibler over the top rope, then drooping out cold to the canvas. SENSATIONAL slugging performance from Ali Landry goes KO3. After: Landry just mopping Stacy Keibler up, solving the blonde with harsh right hand power shots, taking the legs ut of the equation with a cudgeling beat down to the body early—it’s the best Landry performance in years. Ali sloooowly strutting, heavy and curvy as she steps, hands in the air waving to her—she turns around and DAISY FUENTES SMOKES ALI LANDRY WITH THE TITLE BELT SHOT TO THE FOREHEAD! Fuentes sneaking into the ring, milling with the crowd, cold cocks the champ and lays her out on her back—Landry with hands above her head, face groggy with stunned pain as Fuentes grabs the mic: “Nobody fires Daisy Fuentes!” Latina screams at the unconscious brunette/ “You keep this sack of -----t and you fire me? I’m challenging YOU Aid Landry. For this welterweight title. Youre all gonna rue the day you thought you could humiliate me, RUE!” Landry starts to come around, and that’s not acceptable. Daisy tossing the belt and mic down, quickly bounces off the ropes as stunned officials gape in horror, drops a guillotine leg across Landry’s chest and puts her all the way out. 20 JULY 2002 TITLE CH ALI LANDRY VS TERRY FARRELL   Unified Welterweight Title Posted by Simguy on 7/20/2002, 8:07 am. Before: “What makes Terry think this is going to be a boxing match?” Ali asks in prefight. “The ring is my playground—I do whatever I want in there. Maybe I’ll outbox Terry just to humble her, maybe I’ll just punch through her—point is, this isn’t about what she can do, it’s ALL about what I’m going to do. Write this down: Terry Farrell doesn’t have a chance.” Terry’s heard it all before, but she knows what Landry’s talking about—Farrell needs to find a way to make Ali fight a chess match. “She’s a compete fighter for sure,” admits Terry, “but she’s ready to be taken. I truly believe that.” Ali in a pale blue push up bra and bikini bottoms. Terry royal blue bikini, high neck single halter top. During R1: Tentative opening, both girls circling, feinting on the outside. End of the first minute, Landry with a sudden step in, swats the decoy hook to the cheek and POUNDS her right hand in between Terry’s breasts—short, stumping shot sends Farrell scooting to her backside! Ali prancing away all smiles—Terry up quickly. Landry doubling up the jab consolidates in the body, jamming in straight right to the heart, left hooks in behind the elbow. Farrell stepping out and roaming right, able to get that jab off her hip, relieving some of the pressure late. R2: Ali showing Terry that classy pageant stick, pounding away on the chest to set-up sizzling right hands. Farrell giving ground, circling wide, occasionally palming up up on Ali to change direction with a sidestep. Down the stretch, Landry a little overanxious—Terry drops in a clocking overhand right, leans onto her back foot to let Ali fall in, and picks her up juicy with a biting right uppercut, putting wobbly in champion trunks. Landry hanging in, suddenly hurt—Farrell steals the round with that opportunistic power of hers. R3: Ali more disciplined, content to fence outside with Terry, patiently cutting off the ring. Final minute, Landry able to bang that body, has Farrell wilting forward—Terry clinching at the bell, looking disheveled. R4: Shutout Landry as she puts it all together. Ali’s got her timing and range down now—she can jump in the hook off the jab, get the tall brunette on her heels ad land the banging short right hand to the chest or face. Ali constantly toppling backwards, unable to cope with the lightweight speed of the champ and midway through, that swatting hook, drilling short right combo has Farrell stepping funky. Round finishes up with Ali suddenly brawny at the ropes, reaching under Terry’s arms, bodying her into the strands and munching on the midsection with both fists. Ali nodding, grinning at her good work at the bell, Farrell shopworn, getting beaten up through 4. R5: Gets worse for Terry. Farrell trying to get her game together, but Landry in with that swatting hook, drops the hammer right hand to mouth and dumps Farrell to her backside for the fight’s second knockdown. Terry up stiffly, grimacing, but she comes off the canvas swinging. Farrell catching Ali with the right uppercut as the girls fall in together—Landry backing away, allows Terry to extend on a chasing right that snaps champ’s head to the side. Stop and go action the rest of the way as girls punch, fall in together and tie each other up. R6: Farrell moving right, just laying the jab out to screen Ali’s vision an blistering right cross picks Landry’s lead foot off the canvas. Ali badly hurt for the first time in the fight, hands at her temples as she stoops forward—Farrell edging in picks her up with a gorgeous right uppercut, wrapping the let around the girl’s shoulders to turn Landry, preventing the counter. Beautiful work out of a lanky wrap—Farrell pulling Ali in a semicircle, walking her into tight right uppercuts, clinching her up for breaks. Landry busted up, woozy from clean punches and disconcerted at the power she’s seeing, coughs up the shutout this round. R7: Both girls back to boxing, ranging clockwise arund thupng sticks, both coming up short on early right hands as defense reigns. Down the stretch, Ali times Farrell’s lanky right, slipping in underneath, coming out of the crouch with a perfect left hook md Farrell goes wobbly butt! Terry backing away with forlorn eyes, trying to rally her legs—Ali hopping in behind a spitting jab, puts her right fist in Terry's ear and spills the challenger to the ropes. Bad beating down the stretch, Ali able to square up sand bash away to the bell, eaves Terry swooning for the break. R8: Shutout Ai Landry. Body, body, body—heartless attack on midriff cripples Terry—she’s tilting forward, elbows in, groaning, reaching around Ali’s head with long armed clinches as Landry bashes away. Slow, waltzing beatdown totally one sided—Farrell’s just soaking it up and returns ashen faced to her stool. R9: Farrell loosed limbed, hands low—she lolls back onto her rear leg as Ali wades forward and calmly picks the champ up a tight counter-right uppercut—Ali falls in hurt, doesn’t punch. Terry palms and spins, stepping put, luring her girl forward, drops the chopping right hand on Ali’s left eye, quickly clinching, turning, stepping out with a saucy shove. Entire round goes this way with Ali spending herself in stupid head on attacks, getting potshotted, and pushed around as Farrell finds a way to survive. Shutout Terry Farrell, puts a little more mileage on the champ—Ali fatigued, punchy heading into the tenth. R10: Uppercut’s been there al night for Farrell, she’s able to lounge back, walk Ali in and pick her up with devastating results. Ali cooperating by stooping forward slightly, reaching with her right mitt for a stabilizing clinch—Terry’s just placing the punch on Landry’s chin, spinning out to the right and luring her forward for more. End of the first minute, Landry’s really coming apart! Champion’s staggering, getting potshotted hard and clean—corner’s yelling at her to stay away but she’s too shabby to respond. Farrell summons reserves, eyes suddenly focused—she’s walking Ali onto the right uppercut, she’s nailing her right crosses when she’s outside—Landry seems shocked to be getting hurt by Terry’s punches. Turns into s gutty display of heart from Ali as she is beaten raw—Terry placing single shot haymakers with thudding accuracy, turning, pushing her foe—Ali staggering but refusing to go down makes it to the bell. Comes back UD10 Ali Landry. After: Terry Farrell visibly disappointed, picked up on camera whining “I HAD her! I HAD her,” in the aftermath. Landry all glossy, till woozy from Terry’s late assault, but she hoists the belts over her broad shoulders, struts the ring and gets in Farrell’s face to taunt the worthy challenger with the things she can’t have. “I best the kid like I was her mommy.” Ali says of the older woman, “tuned her up, outboxed her, outfought her. She’s determined. I’ll give her that, but anyone should be able to tell I ate Terry Farrell up tonight.” Maybe a little SWO hyperbole there, but all in all a very credible defense of the title for Ms, Landry. 05 AUGUST 2002 TITLE CH CINDY CRAWFORD VS ALI LANDRY   “BIG WOMAN ON SHOWTIME” MAXIM/REEBOK MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLES Posted by Simguy on 8/5/2002, 8:42 am. Before: Spurning HBO for rival Showtime, Landry and Crawford manage to put together that rarest of boxing phenomenons—a superfight that doesn’t involve Cat Bell or Charlize Theron AND an all-brunette affair at that—“I think it’s safe to say the winner of this fight is the best fighter in boxing,” proclaims Landry. “Theron never proved herself against quality big women and Bell won’t move up period,” adds Crawford. “I think the best brunette in boxing IS the best fighter—it goes without saying. Say what you will about Charlize Theron—at least she tried to step up. I think Cat Bell’s the better woman technically, but she would never try to exert her influence north of 130, When I get pass Ali, people are going to have to realize: Cindy Crawford is still around, and she’s still the boss.” Ali in pale blue push up, pale blue bikini bottoms—Crawford in red cotton Jockey top, navy cotton Jockey bottoms, ponytail. During R1: Landry able to jam a hard right hand over Cindy’s left shoulder—Crawford stepping in fence post holes early as Ali shows her power. Crawford saws her class—she’s hurt, but goes to the jab opens up the canvas, effectively clinches whenever Landry cuts off the ring. Cindy drops the round, but escapes what could have been disaster by preventing a Landry follow up. R2: Ali stepping Cindy back with a thudding jab between the breasts—she’s bending at the knees, spanking body with straight right hand, straightening to clout the hook up top, always using a spitting stick to keep Crawford positioned. Cindy at the rope, hands up just trying to read and react defensively. Midway through, Landry gets to Cindy with gorgeous series of rising lefts and rights to the ribplates just beneath the breasts—Crawford shaken up, falls in to clinch—she’s getting banged up. Ali Landry down the stretch, brawling Cindy at the ropes, big-woman shove and slug to the bell as Crawford covers up and takes like a mute. R3: Crawford with more veteran, savvy tactics. She’s steering Landry with the long jab, slicing in a slinging Tyra Banks style cross to graze Ali’s jaw, then clinching for breaks. Landry can’t get it going against punch n’ clutch—Cindy effectively controlling her foe despite drawing boos for the stop and go action. R4: Landry punching her way through the Crawford clinches this round—really bludgeoning away beneath the breastline, standing up into tough, tough body work. Crawford grimacing, makes more veteran adjustments, now getting leggy, circling away from the punishment, feinting to freeze Ali for split seconds to allow for direction changes, Through 4 Ali in control on the cards—Crawford looking like a survivor more than a competitor. R5,6: Cindy Crawford getting it done—it ain’t pretty, but she’s clawing her way back into this bout. Not many girls control Ali with the jab, but Cindy’s doing it, getting the initiative, positioning Landry in the ring, then lighting her up with slicing right crosses on the jaw. Landry taking the shots well, but Cindy’s able to dive in and clinch, smothering the receipts—Landry increasingly frustrated with the model’s safety first tactics. As frustration grows—Crawford’s opportunities increase She gets a nice bolo-right uppercut onto Landry’s chin as well as a sweet count right hand on the teeth as Landry tries to hound her to the ropes. Landry trying to load up that crushing right hand, but can’t get it off—Cindy very aware of that starboard mitt. R7: Cindy getting her fight—slow, methodical, stand up stuff midring—she’s able to step in with the jab, spank Ali’s face, step to the left as Landry turn. Patient, accurate stabbing from Crawford—after a minute, Landry’s bleeding from the nose, gnashing her teeth as she circles, but can’t get off, Ali falls apart late—Landry finally getting the timing down, erases minutes of good work from Cindy with a single thunderclap right—short chopping shot over the jab puts Crawford wobbly butt, sends her reeling sideways in disarray. Landry pouncing at the ropes, palms her girls shoulders and WELTS that ribcage with lusty rights and lefts. Crawford stupefied, hanging off Ali’s neck and just getting clobbered at the bell. Ali steals a Crawford round with power—Landry the welterweight looking like the stronger woman. R8: Cindy Crawford comes back like a champ! Shaking off the punishment, she gets back on top with that harpooning stick, really bashing back Ali’s face, getting Landry onto her heels—Ali looking awkward and uncertain as she hasn’t seen this kind of jab before. Crawford working to her left, eyes focused—just stepping, spearing with leverage. Landry breaking down, hands drooping and down the stretch. Crawford bends into a gorgeous right cross on the jaw. Landry’s head flattened against her shoulder—she wobbles to the ropes with a glazed expression—Cindy on to finish. Crawford cautious, prepping Landry with the jab then leaning in with sizzling right hands, promptly bodying up on follow through to smother the counter and press her girl into the ropes. Landry all jangly and stunned a the bell—Cindy pumping right fist en route to her corner. R9: Sharpshooting boxing to set up right hands—girls working with their jabs, then leaning in—dangerous stuff as both women open up the offense. Wide ranging action, both girls hinky of the other’s power—both have felt their legs go in this fight, interesting tension as they hunt each other down. Landry gets it late—girls touch each other hard with simultaneous jabs, Landry just misses the right hand, comes back with the left hook as Cindy’s backing straight out and Crawford gets LABELLED on the chin. Cindy clattering back to the ropes, eyes wide, upper body tllting on her hips—she’s desperately grabby, trying to tie Landry up--Ali rolling her shoulder, bashing away at the Crawford ribcage. Cindy ragdolling from one foot to the other, head swiveling dangerously as it all falls apart—she’s out on her feet as Landry is bodied back at the bell. R10: Landry trembling with bloodlust—she bolts off her stool, charging in to pick up where she left off. Crawford backing away behind away behind s stiffer than expected—she’s slowing Ali’s momentum, breaking up the rush, then TAGGING Landry a crashing right hand to beat the welterweight to the punch! Landry staggering to her right, eyes suddenly glassy—SHE’S hurt! Crawford stalking with a cautious jab as she becomes the predator, Landry ragged as she hops along the ropes, getting wobbled s Cindy leans in with bashing right crosses, but Crawford won’t commit to a second and third follow up. Round progresses with Landry on the verge, but gutting it out—Cindy walking her down but not taking enough risk—Landry able to fall inside, get stable against Cindy’s chest and outwork the supermodel down the stretch. Girls still slugging it up after the bell—ref pulls heaving beauties apart. After lengthy delay, decision comes back a DRAW! After: Bitter protests from both corners—Ali claiming she hurt Cindy repeatedly, more consistently than in return. Cindy claiming to have outboxed, outmaneuvered her foe, as well as finishing stronger as Landry’s legs looked ramshackle in the tenth. 17 AUGUST 2002 ALI LANDRY VS CINDY CRAWFORD   (Non-Title Rematch) Posted by Simguy on 8//17/2002, 8:49 am. Before: They’ve gone a hard dime with no result—brunette bombshells lace ‘em up again to get some answers. Non-title, high prestige bout with a certain amount of big-girl bragging rights attached—winner can make some credible claims on any pound for pound list. Landry in baby blue push up, matching bikini bottoms, Cindy in royal blue cotton Jockey top, red bottoms, ponytail. During R1: Crawford reaching in the jab early, establishing range, gets Landry lunging forward and runs the welter champ into jamming short right hands on the jaw. Ali locks up hurt—Crawford too careful on follow up—staying outside, searing the jab, trying to lean in right hands without putting anything behind it. Landry showing nice head movement, sound defense while hurt, gets it together, and she’s coming back at Crawford’s ribcage with rights hands at the bell R2: Shutout Ali Landry, Crawford paying the price for not pressing when she had the chance—Ali jabbing her way in, sets up brawny on Crawford’s chiest and walks her to the ropes. Landry patient, methodical, reaching up under Crawford’s arms to belly the brunette back, packing in leather to belly, keeping supermodel pinned. Ali able to shove those right hands in on the jaw while bodied up. Slam short right forearm to the ribs in tight—Crawford clinching, grimacing as she soaks it up bell to bell. R3: Landry stunning Crawford early with a stabbing left jab on the eye—Crawford upright, on her heels as Ali gets jiggly. Landry with the right tight at her chest, leaning in and exploding it hard off Cindy’s guard or skull—she’s driving the brunette ropeside with lusty punching and Crawford’s looking windblown. Ali pitches straight rights to the body, palming the left against Cindy’s shoulder to reset, then straightening up to cuff tight hooks against the jaw as Crawford stoops forward. Down the stretch, Landry lording it over Cindy, arching her back as she hooks the tummy, hooks the tummy, shoulders a weepy Crawford back and NAILS hera plowing right hand on the face. CRAWFORD GOES DOWN to all fours—Landry skipping back with glee. Cindy takes a swaying 8—steps out with an extended left and eats a ROCKETING right hand off her left eye which dumps her in a heap at the ropes! Bell sounds, chaos ensues—a shell shocked Cindy C is carted to her corner while Landry glows in triumph. R4: Ali methodical—circling her wounded prey, probing Crawford in the belly, in the breasts with jabs, then fast and hard with short right hands as Cindy breaks down, Crawford all banged up, flat footed, shuffling to stay square with her girl—she’s regrouping, hands up, albums in, chinned tucked but she’s not able to get enough on Ali to turn the tide. R5,6: Increasingly sad sight of Ali Landry outboxing Cindy on the outside, outmuscling her, pushing her around on the inside, and beating her body with chilling ruthlessness minute after minute after minute. Crawford can’t uptempo, can’t get her jab working—she’s reacting punching back out of desperation, not getting much on her shots Landry so focused—eyes bright, intense, hands sure as they take what they want, getting achy flinch or groggy head snap out of Crawford as she wilts in steady retreat. Body on body, Landry’s glorying in her ability to twist and writhe Crawford to ropes—supermodel looks heavy legged, damp as she turtles and soaks it up around her elbows to either side from a hard working Landry at the bell. R7: Crawford shiny from punishment, swelling badly arund the eyes, obviously laboring off her stool, guts out a tough seventh like a warrior. Ali not as zesty after blistering first half—she’s running into the Crawford jab instead of slipping in, allowing Cindy to get the right cross in, then the clinch for a break. Punch N Clutch effective for supermodel—slowing the pace, keeping Ali at the end of her punches—Landry starting to scuff up. R8: Ali’s been on Cindy’s jab all night long and she CLOCKS a vicious right counter over the Crawford stick to open the round, dropping Cindy in RUINS as the crowd groans. Crawford somehow beats the count—staggering mindlessly to the ropes, swaying as the ref gives her 8 and lets this thing go on. ON COMES LANDRY! Wild grin, overhand rights—Crawford sliding hurt into the corner, covered up and letting the rain bash down. Ali gets low, shoves Cindy’s torso back with rough palms on the chest and neck, stays close to shove in lefts and rights to the breadbasket. Crawford going out—eyes vacant—arms lolling weak around Ali’s shoulders o hips. Ali chesting Cindy back, digging mercilessly to her hips and stomach—Crawford sinks to her backside as Landry steps in her lap, stands on top of her at the ropes. Crawford another 8 count, mouth open, eyes closed and this beating goes ON! ALI HEAVING IT IN! Right hands upside the head—Crawford tilting with gloves t her mouth, taking disastrous punishment numb against her skull. Landry romping, knows she’s got it, bracing Cindy with the left at her shoulder, pouring in right hand after right hand as Cindy droops out, standing helplessly as her head bobbles sickeningly on impact. Crawford finally puddling in a steaming pool of brunette in her corner—Landry filled with bloodlust, doesn’t want to leave the carcass, has to be bodied back by officials. Brutal, brutal KO8 Ali Landry. After: Landry all sweaty and glorious in victory, hands loose over her head, fingers snapping, hips swaying slightly as she beams down at a devastated Cindy C. while Crawford is loaded onto a stretcher==oh the humanity! Worst beating of Crawford’s career sends her back to middleweight in rags—Landry crows abut in the postfight. “Middleweight’s just a province of my welterweight empire now.” Ali proclaims, “I’m setting Cindy up as my puppet! Everyone knows who calls the shots north of 130 now!” Cindy still the champ—faces some legitimacy problems with this loss—she’ll need to rule with an iron fist to erase the memory of this vicious defeat. Reading all these bouts again is amazing.
What happened to Landry?
How come she hasn't come to cougar boxing?
Actually her opponents aside from Cindy C, they should come back to the ring, if they want to.

Well, she is still involved in the FCBA as the head trainer of our stable. While we are not actively looking for cougar bouts for our staff at the moment, we would be happy to allow them to get involved if they receive cougar fight offers.
