Our reporter and his blonde companion sit watching baseball at Bazz with Cassandra Lynn Scerbo, Poindexter Del Crunchy, and the Man In The Hat.
Reporter: "It won't be long until we're sitting here watching football again..."
Tess: "Don't remind me."
Man In The Hat: "Oh, sooner or later you'll win the bet, Tess..."
Cassie: "I'm taking 'later' and giving all the points you want..."
Man In The Hat: "This is the time of year when I always started thinkin' about football as a kid. All-Star Game on the way. And, after that, camps would open. And, of course, in those days, it had been half a year with no ball, so, we were ready..."
Reporter: "On another subject, some interesting fights this weekend..."
Pointy (nodding): "Like that Lamborghini. She can fight. So can Di Patrizi."
Man In The Hat: "No question. But, the story is Wallis Day. This girl here, she was thisclose to bein' at Front Street. If we hadn't managed to get Kennedy..."
Tess: "Are you regretting that move right now? McMann is fifth chair lightweight here..."
Man In The Hat: "No, I'm not. I believe in Kennedy. I think she's gonna be a champion. So. No. But. I might. Because, I think Day is gonna be a champion, too."
Reporter: "Willerton looked good..."
Man In The Hat: "She did. Kubicka can fight. That was a quality win she got."
Reporter: "I'm guessing you aren't surprised by the results of the welterweight tournament..."
Pointy: "Don't get him started..."
Man In The Hat: "OK. I'm gonna do the same thing here I did a while ago on a different subject. I'm gonna comment on this one more time, and then never again..."
Reporter: "Seriously?"
Man In The Hat: "Seriously. We don't fight welter anymore and we're not going back into that division. We don't even fight AGAINST welters anymore. And, it's painful for me to talk about what's happened with Utgaard, who has the best physicals of any woman ever to fight in the FCBA. I'm not surprised Kostek won. I predicted that at the beginning of the tournament. I wish her good luck, as I wish good luck to everyone else in the division. But, we've done everything we could do there, tried it with eight different fighters and had no success, went 2-14 in big fights. We're concentratin' on the other three divisions and that's what we're gonna talk about going forward. So, this is my last word on welterweights. Now, let's watch some ball, shall we?"
