Bella Thorne has a sour look on her face as she takes reporters’ questions from earlier. And can you blame her? The former Bantamweight and JMD champion had seemingly reached the peak of her career just a couple of months ago, with victories over the likes of Evangeline Lily and Elizabeth Olsen securing her reputation as one of the greats. All of a sudden, she’s found herself in a position of losing match after match, and in dire waters if she doesn’t win her next one.
"Yeah, maybe I lost 3 in a row, but it was because I didn't want it enough. I was high on my success and I guess it made me hella complacent. I had my wakeup call and now I'm back at it 100% and there's no f*cking way I'm losing 4 in a row unless she spikes my water before the fight tonight. Luisana is a good boxer, but she's not a 4 time champion, and she's kinda old. Tonight is when I go back to running through this entire division starting with her ass. The last 4 months never happened as far as I'm concerned. Let's f*cking go."
Serious-looking Thorne is hella scary, but Luisana Lopilato doesn’t look intimidated at all, the blonde Vixen pumped about getting another chance to prove her worth by fighting a top ten Bantamweight competitor.
“For someone quite low in the rankings, I’m absolutely excited to keep getting these opportunities. First was that title shot against Naomi Scott, and now I get to test myself against the one and only Bella Thorne. The only thing I resent is being called ‘old’,” Luisana laughs, trying to make light of Bella’s earlier comment. “I still can totally kick ass, and I’m eager to show Bella how it’s done later in the ring!”
We’ve got an interesting match-up here as Thorne and Lopilato meet in the center. To be honest, Bella looks a little out of it, a simple glare sent into Luisana’s face either showing she’s fully focused on the outcome of this upcoming battle, or that she totally doesn’t see the Vixen as a legitimate competitor. By contrast, Luisana meets her with a big smile, her fists raised high and confident. The two women are two inches in height apart (Thorne holding the advantage), but Luisana comes in at a slightly bigger size.
Later, we’re back in the arena, with the Doll Ball in full swing, as guest fighter Luisana Lopilato enters first, looking sensational in a white set of bra and briefs, a long silky black robe open and baring her tummy and chest. She waves to the audience, bouncing up and down, the first time on Dollhouse soil. Moments later, Thorne comes onto stage amidst orange smoke and silver sparklers twirling to announce the arrival of the former champ. Thorne still with that no-nonsense look on her face, a must-win scenario for her tonight if she hopes to redeem her status as top dog in the league. She strides down the ramp in red bikini top and black tights, hair in a messy ponytail as she makes a beeline to the ring, not wasting any time pandering to her many fans in the arena tonight, at least not before her mission is complete. Well, she DOES give them a little something, pumping both her red gloves in the air and doing a short sexy dance when the announcer calls her name once she’s in her corner, raising the noise levels in the arena on top of plenty of howls and whistles from the thirsty men in the audience.
Rest of the opening is your standard affair, with the referee going through the rules: ten rounds of Bantamweight action, standard KO/TKO rules apply. No title on the line this time (at least, not yet), but for some reason, both ladies are still treating the last staredown with all seriousness of one. There goes the bell and HERE WE GO!
ROUND 1:
Smart strategy from Thorne to open as she keeps her distance from Luisana, not so much in fear of her opponent but reverence to the consequences if she were to lose this fight for the umpteenth time. Thorne opts for fast jabs towards Luisa’s head, fine with landing her punches from afar, and score those points slow and steady. She’s probably relying on her younger nature to get the job done as she slaps another fast punch into Luisana’s face, no qualms about going the distance here and outlasting the so-called ‘old-timer’. Luisana does her best to attack and engage, but it’s troublesome when her notoriously aggressive foe refuses to throw down with her directly. End result is Luisana’s taking more punishment to her face, with Bella’s fast attacks landing steadily all the way to the bell to earn her a wide round.
ROUND 2:
Fine by Luisana, if that’s how her opponent wants to play it. The second round sees the Vixen employing the same tactics as Thorne, the two fighters engaging in mad blitzes of attacks that erupt throughout the entire round. Luisana not coming in blatantly like before, instead, showing Bella how ‘old’ she really is with equally fast combos that wreak havoc on her face, early in the first minute alone, punting her head back with a sly one-two delivered to the nose, enjoying that look of total surprise on the Doll’s face. Thorne, adapting fast however, moves faster backwards to avoid the blonde’s follow-up jabs. And the result is a much closer round than the previous one, with Thorne definitely scoring too during those rapid flights of fists in both directions from the center of the ring. Overall, however, Thorne takes much more damage to her pride here, which earns the Vixen a comeback performance.
ROUND 3:
Luisana continues to employ the same tactics as before, trying to meet Bella blow for blow, speed exchange for speed exchange. Thorne gets surprised by more combos to her face and chest, as the Vixen targets those parts of her that are sure to disorientate and stun, with Thorne forced to do more than jab back if she hopes to stay alive in the long run. Luisana in particular uses her greater strength to effect here, bashing a cross into the Doll’s lips mid-round, earning her a loud UGhH! From the Doll’s lips. Whilst Bella herself scores with a similar combo later on to the blonde’s tummy, Luisana’s punching power means she’s doing more damage by comparison. It's another close round at the bell, though things might be starting to change with Lopilato looking a little winded from pushing herself so much.
ROUND 4:
As Thorne suspected, Luisana is moving much slower out of the gate to start the fourth, with the Vixen breathing hard and perhaps a little complacent with her taking the past two rounds in a row. Thorne plays dumb in the first few seconds, staying at a comfortable distance and shaking those fists in the Vixen’s face, and just when Luisana’s getting cozy, LAUNCHES a superwoman punch straight into the air and forward, landing the shot right between the eyes! OUCH! Luisana with a stunned groan as she gets thrown backwards almost immediately, the crowd also on their feet and providing hella feedback to what the hell just happened. Thorne ROARS in, pounding away on Luisa’s frame with lefts, rights to the body, huge hooks sent bashing across the arms, trying to take Luisana down within fifteen minutes! Luisana is still moving fast on her feet though, dazed but fighting back best she can with the occasional jab sent back into the nose or above the eye, but Thorne just refuses to shed the initiative here and chases her opponent all the way back to the bell. Skid complete, we think! Thorne prevents a third loss in a row but that’s just within this fight. Can she maintain her momentum for the rest of the rounds?
ROUND 5:
Luisana’s making it hella hard for her, that’s for sure. Early rush in to try and put the Vixen away shows the amount of condescension in her tone as she jabs at Luisa’s head, thinking she’s about to go right down to sleep. All of a sudden, Luisana returns outta nowhere, a right swing streakin’ in from the side that CATCHES the Doll clean on the face, that right hook sailing in the middle of Bella’s reverie! Thorne goes wide-eyed with shock, takes another bashing shot to her body as Lopilato battles her way back with a vengeance! Thorne’s now the one fighting for her life as she’s pushed back, her head and arms desperately blocking attacks but Luisana also showing NO mercy for her younger counterpart, punting the tummy with low, lunging fists that reach in and under the guard. Thorne’s in survival mode, but at the back of her mind, knows that all she needs to do is survive another couple of seconds to beat the bell. Luisana pushes her to the ropes regardless, throwing ALL her ammunition into the rest of this round, hoping for a knockdown, but it DOESN’T materialise! The Doll’s left slack-jawed and battered, with her back to the ropes, but Luisana doesn’t look too good herself, wheezing and swaying on her way back to her corner. What a round though!
ROUND 6:
Both fighters look hurt and tired as we head into only the second half of this match. Luisana breathing hard out of her corner, doing her best to shed that ‘old woman’ mentality but the rest of her body not exactly cooperating. Thorne, meanwhile, is also slowly coming forth, back to her defensive posture as she initiates with tentative jabs sent into the Vixen’s arms, aiming high and low to score stiff shots to the forehead and body. Luisana’s fire all but gone here, and it’s clear that she’s only trying to catch her breath this round. Bella suddenly realises that she has an opportunity to take charge, picks up the pace when she finds Luisana barely throwing punches back at her at all. Another fast combo draws an oumph and shot of air from the Vixen’s lips, as Thorne targets that vulnerable tummy, slowly but surely pushing Luisana backwards and about the ring. It’s Luisa’s turn to be in trouble, her arms doing a good job of hiding her head but that tummy taking a bad pasting, Bella repaying the favour with lunging uppercuts and hooks bashed into her frame with malice. Luisana gets driven into the ropes, still hiding behind her guard but a sudden, step in BLAST lands square on the pit of her belly, and CUTS HER IN HALF with a deep groan! OUCH! That’s gotta hurt! Lopilato’s defences melt in a flash, and Thorne SOCKS her one more time across the face to send the poor blonde CRASHING DOWN TO THE CANVAS! That last shot wasn’t necessary, in our opinion, but Thorne not taking chances, already nodding with approval as she strides back to her corner, no need for more words when she’s finally put her actions to her lips. Meanwhile, Luisana’s having a lot of trouble even turning over onto her back, her chest beating hard but that tortured tummy not doing her any favours, reddened and pulsing and causing her an endless supply of grief - she barely makes it back up to her knees when the referee already hits the count of 10! IT’S OVER!!
Official Decision: Bella Thorne defeats Luisana Lopilato via KO6!
AFTER:
That’s it! The Dollhouse corner sighs in relief as Thorne officially breaks the biggest losing streak of her career so far, with an impressive knockout over a dangerous opponent in Lopilato!
Bella herself looking tired but satisfied, a cocky smile forming on her face as she raises an arm in triumph and adding a little sexy dance to rile up the fans.
The redhead looked good tonight, and if she can secure a follow up win against the 10-2 Ana De Armas next weekend, we might just have to declare this slump over and Bella might just go back to dominating the division on her way to possibly another title run.
Thorne taking her time, high fiving her team and joking around with Carmen Electra, letting the Vixens team check up on Luisana and help the blonde to a sitting position. Bella still wants to flaunt her dominance, finally struts over towards the woozy blonde, grabbing a handful of the Vixen’s hair and dragging her to the center of the ring on all fours.
Bella then places her foot over Lopilato’s butt and raises one arm up high, the other hand placed firmly on her hip as she takes a victory pose, tongue out (of course), taking in the adoration of the fans and enjoying the camera flashes flickering all around her.
The victrious redhead then pushes the defeated blonde to the mat with her foot in dismissive fashion before walking away, jumping out of the ring into the hands of her security team and begins making her way out to some loud cheers.
On her way out, when asked for a comment on tonight’s fight, Bella is looking as confident as ever. “I’m not back, I never f*cking left. My state of mind can sometimes be an issue for me, it can make me lose focus…but when I’m focused enough, there’s no one in this division who can f*ck with me. Yeah I’m fighting Ana de Armas in a week, but she just lost two fights against flyweights. What f*cking chance does she have against me? I’ll f*cking annihilate her. Watch!”
The Dollhouse star then smirks as she flips off the cameras with both middle fingers before disappearing behind the black curtains.
