BEFORE: Both these flyweights have plenty in common but struggle for real exposure on their rosters. Chloe Moretz is buried behind Jessica Lowndes to say the very least while Maisie Williams has been handed fewer opportunities than Elizabeth Henstridge over the years. However this is when a Fight Night Live comes in handy as both girls picture themselves as outright favorites in Vegas tonight.

"Well, Maisie played second fiddle to Emilia Clarke on Game of Thrones and that should remain a career high-water mark! Maybe she tries to win a BBU title first? Cheryl Cole tells me she's nothing special so I hope to knock her out before half-distance!", Chloe strikes a confident pose but earns a swift response from the tiny Brit:

"Another arrogant Yankee blonde, huh? These girls will never learn! Ever since I beat Cassie Scerbo last year I can recognize the dumb factor! They always talk too much and then wonder what hit them in the damn mouth! Time for a frickin' deja vu, bytch!"

Chloe Moretz wears a purple crop top with black trim, matching hip-huggers & white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a curled ponytail. Maisie Williams wears a silver crop top with white trim, matching hip-huggers & red gloves. Long dark brown hair wrapped in a braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Maisie gives away few inches in reach but makes up for it with supreme aggression as she outworks Chloe in close range and slams repeated jabs into the blonde's face. Chloe struggles to embrace the early heat and wobbles to her heels when Maisie whacks her across the mouth before another looping shot finds the temple. Maisie barks in delight when she notices how Moretz tries to bail out into mid-distance and chases her around the ring which forces Chloe to swing back as she's not fast enough to avoid the lithe Brit. Both girls engage in more back & forth action but Chloe gets pinned onto the ropes and bounces off Maisie's forearms too often to mount a proper recovery. Make that 10-9 Williams.

Round 2:
More of the same in the second, Maisie's superior mobility allows her to track Chloe down and lock her in the phone booth jam long enough the blonde begins to feel the jabbing heat while struggling to find a response. Maisie gets vocal as she drives her mitts into the American's face before blasting a left hook on the temple. Ugh! Moretz slumps into quiet spasms and gets backed onto the ropes shortly afterwards as Williams keeps picking her off in speed dial fashion. She lands another bomb on the blonde's mouth and digs deep into her breadbasket later when Chloe tries to clinch her into a stalemate instead. Chloe eventually slows Maisie down but not before soaking up more ruthless harpoons on the stomach and it's 20-18 Williams after two!

Round 3:
The MGM crowd in Vegas didn't expect Chloe to come out so sluggish here but the LCA fighter finally lands a proper combo early in the third and scythes the brunette across the mouth before adding a looping shot on the temple. Maisie tries to charge through the attack but misfires with her effort and eats another book on the chest that makes her gurgle in pain upon impact. Moretz jumps on her opportunity and piles more head shots from point-blank range which send Williams reeling into mid-distance come the two-minute mark. Chloe swings back and allthough she fails to connect with another meaningful combo, she keeps Maisie dancing around on her toes and not looking so aggressive anymore.

Round 4:
Coach Taryn Terrell is convinced Maisie can simply outwork Chloe in the slugging game but the blonde neutralizes that idea when she bangs another early combo right into the brunette's nose and suddenly exposes the shaky high-guard in the process. Maisie looked comfortable while throwing all those punches before but she doesn't fire back when Moretz finds her groove and begins to stalk the smaller girl around with more pesky jabs. She doesn't quite hurt the British tourist but owns the production by numbers and tags the temples often enough for the Vegas crowd to support her recovery bid. Maisie can't do much in mid-distance and prefers to bounce around on her toes which defaults the cards and has coach Terrell scolding her during the interval.

Round 5:
Maisie goes back to the slugging game and packs a couple of hits into Chloe's chest before she shoots over her head and gets caught on the response... Moretz SMOKES her with a brutal uppercut from the inside and tacks on a scything cross on the mouth that drops Williams on jelly knees! Uh-oh! Maisie tries to swing back but the half-hearted effort from the heels goes nowhere while Chloe NAILS her with a nasty left hook on the ear instead... DOWN GOES WILLIAMS!!! The British tourist crashes onto her knees with a loud whimper and descends onto all fours during the count. She bends her head against the canvas and cuts a losing figure as that last punch simply broke her down for keeps. NINE... TEN... YER OUT!!! KO5 Chloe Grace Moretz!!!

AFTER: "So much for that deja vu, bytch! Stay down!!!", Chloe offers little sympathy to the fallen opponent before staring down the Girls Friday corner where Taryn Terrell pounds the turnbuckle in pure frustration. The fight started so well for her protegee before it all unravelled in dramatic fashion. Just not a good look for poor Maisie who really needed this victory to put herself back on the divisional map. 

Meanwhile Chloe realizes she's not in a position to threaten Jessica Lowndes' Lioness Alpha status and simply wants to earn more opportunities going forward. BLONDE! Magazine believes she's got enough potential not to hoover around .500 mark for majority of her career but it's too early to sing the contender tune just yet. Then again one must expect she makes the next level step sooner rather than later and the word around Vegas is that Lucy Hale might well be on the blonde's radar next. Watch this space!
