Hey everyone,
So SPA has been on the FCBA forums for a little over a month now and I just wanted to see if I could get some feedback. In particular if you like the structure of the stories, do you prefer the one-offs or the long form story setups. Are there any girls in the "roster" you'd like to see more of? Less of? Any criticisms or compliments on the stories themselves?
Please drop your thoughts down below here, I've been out of commission the past week or so due to illness and want to sort of take this down time to hear what people have to say about the universe. Thanks!

I prefer the one-offs but in the end they seem to fall into a long story concept anyway. Besides, it's not really my job to tell you how to write and what!  |

So are you into the Grudge Match series since those are just 1 & done? Would you prefer stories with less overall plot that are more action oriented instead? Just trying to get a feel for what people enjoy/don't enjoy about the stories. |

I think what works is the concept of it being a world with interacting stories and rivalries. The plot is what makes it different to the boxing side and can lead to different scenarios/situations than just a fight.
The main thing is wondering when the next updates are

The main thing is wondering when the next updates are That's a valid point on the updates. Honestly, a big part of the draw for this series was Lookout! gave me a spot where I can essentially write & post whenever I please. That flexibility really works for me over a set schedule where certain things get posted on certain days/weeks of the month. Just better for my writing process. What I can ask about the update aspect is, would it be more accessible if I focussed on 1 storyline at a time when it comes to the main storyline? For example, hypothetically would you prefer I just posted the Agent Blue series in its entirety before working on the April, Red, or Tea storylines? Or do you prefer a more sporadic posting of the different storylines so that they're all similar lengths at the same time? |

Yeah, no pressure on updates. Maybe one storyline at a time with the non-canon, one-off, stories on the other characters?
Up to you. I just broke my long term lucker status to say it's an interesting project.

Thanks! Generally, I'm apathetic towards the new universe. It comes down to personal preference, I guess, as these are new and unfamiliar characters, placed in foreign settings. Some of us are here for boxing, some for wrestling; others want to read and write spy-on-spy action. That's perfectly cool.  You've clearly got some fans who want to see the universe expanded. I'd recommend making the universe a little bit more digestible in terms of structure and how you're currently posting your stories. Right now, they're categorised by Agents and characters, whilst the rest of the board is a little more used to seeing encounters between characters ( A vs. B, for example). Posting your stories this way might make them easier to navigate and read. Just my two cents here. On a separate note, please look after yourself! If writing these stories make you happy / help you to de-stress, you should definitely continue writing them, regardless of the reception. |

As an example, the forum posts in your 'Main Storyline' section are listed by characters:
Codename: April
Codename: Blue
Codename: Tea
While I understand these are your main characters of the SPA storyline, it doesn't really help the rest of us find the fights we want to read at a glance.
Instead, most of the rest of the board is arranged by the fights / events themselves. e.g. Hannah Ferguson vs Brooklyn Decker (Mud Wrestling), or something else.
Again, it might just be a personal nitpick.
