TESS VALMORE
CELESTE/WINTER. Celeste is a 35 year old, who broke into the BBU back in 2016. Over the last five years, she has been busy fighting three times. All of her fights have been in the BBU, so this is her FCBA debut. Winter is 23 and has a record of 15-2 since the beginning of 2019. Her opposition has not been terribly overwhelming. Her losses were to Kunis and Emma Roberts. Winter does have one problem. She is four inches shorter than Celeste. That’s a lot to overcome, but I think that Winter can do it
PELAS/SCERBO. Pelas has a 3-6 record coming into this bout. Seven of those nine fights have been at JMD. She lost both of her conventional fights not making past the fourth in either. Cassandra Lynn is my BFF. She has won six of her last ten, but lost both her bouts this year. She will reverse her fortunes by flattening Pelas in four
TEIGEN/PERRY. I am forbidden to say anything negative about Perry, therefore I say nothing at all. I will say her opponent, Teigen, has a 6-1 record and is 35 years old. She has never finished the fifth round in her career and she only got that far twice. In the other seven of her fights she didn’t last past in middle of the fourth. She’s a typical Perry opponent. Unfortunately Perry will win and it will be treated like a huge victory like the US hockey team winning the Olympic Gold years ago by upsetting the Russian team. After this bout,I will have to go to the bar and drown my sorrows.
ELLINGSON/ARTERTON. Ellingson returns to the Asylum. You know what that means. Actually, her very first bout was at the Asylum in 2016. Yeah, she lost. She has now had five fights and lost four. Arterton has won fourteen of her last fifteen. Her only loss was to Swift. This is a sure win for Arterton however she does have one problem. Ellingson is four inches taller. No matter, Arterton will win, but the height difference makes me wonder. Is anybody at Front Street checking heights? This is second fight in the card where the opposition has a four inch height advantage. Won’t make any difference on this card, but one day it may
SAMPAIO/DEL TORO. Sampaio has combined 6-10 record in the BBU and FCBA, That doesn’t sound too bad, but she is in a little slump. She has lost her last six. That’s a two year “slump”. Del Toro has had nine fights was won them all. Her opponents have not been top twenty or close to it, but she is still learning, so I will give her a brake. She will win number ten
REFAELI/HILL. Refaeli has been in the FCBA for eleven years and has compiled a 15-26 record. It could definitely be worse. but she has lost her last eight, all to good fighters. Hill has won 16 of her last eighteen and was the lightweight champ until last January, when she lost to Adrianne Palicki. Mr Vassago thinks this is a walk in the park for Hill, an easy win. I have to agree with him. He’s my boss in the editing dept. I happen to know that Refaeli is also on the GOAT’s dance card for later in the year. The difference is Theron is 45 years old and seven years past her prime. Hill is 25 and in the peak of her prime. She is also almost three inches taller. Hill may not win in one, but it won’t take her much longer
