Hello everyone! I am so happy to announce that my creation: The Secret Protection Agency (SPA) Universe is migrating to FCBA. Some of you may have read a few of the stories over not the Freecatfights board, but I'm moving everything over here and I couldn't be more excited!
For those of you who aren't aware of what "SPA" is I'll give you a little bit of a breakdown:
Set in a world where the top spies in the world look like gorgeous female celebrities and all of their disputes are settled with their firsts, Amanda Jax aka "Codename: Blue" is the best of the best. Beautiful, athletic, and sharp as a whip Amanda has cemented herself as the top spy of the Secret Protection Agency (or SPA) and one of, if not the, premiere fighter in the entire world. However, when an old adversary of SPA returns Amanda will find that perhaps the world is bigger and full of much better fighters than she could have ever imagined.
SPA will be an ongoing fictional world created by me. This will include overarching storylines, side quests, non-canon stories, fun promotional art, and so much more. As you'll see under the SPA section of the board there are three categories:
Announcements - Where I'll be making sort of general announcements, maybe hold polls to see which matchups people want to see, and take suggestions for future stories & characters.
Main Storyline - This is where the ongoing stories of the SPA Universe will be posted. For now the idea is to focus on three specific agents: Agent Blue from SPA, Agent Tea from STONE, and Agent April from TYME. Each one will get their own storyline, though they may show up in each other's stories from time to time.
Side Stories - This area is where I've been putting a lot of work into. While the main storyline is fun to write, so are one off and short little mini-series as well! This helps keep the matchups fresh. Stories in this section can be either canon or non-canon and will be marked as such. But really they're just fun little offshoots for the most part. Some things may be introduced here for the main storyline, such as character introductions and interactions that set up future stories, but the idea is to mostly have self-contained stories & mini-arcs there.
Agents - Here is where you go to see an ongoing list of the SPA/STONE/TYME agents. These are the "heroes" of the story. You'll be able to see what the agents look like, who they're played by, some character background, as well as their current status in the universe.
Threats - This is the same as the Agents board but for the "evil" side of things. Here you'll get a chance to see updated win/loss records for the bad girls. That way if there's a particular fight you want to see or I want to write you can no how that result went down.
One final point of housekeeping: I am more than willing to write every single story in the SPA Universe. However, that does not mean I won't welcome other talented writers who want to handle a story as well! Feel free to message me if you're interested in writing a story. We can pick which girls will fight, what the result will be, the setting, etc. Also, if you want to write a main storyline story I have them all plotted out already, so we can discuss what interests you. But please... there are so many talented writers here and I don't want it to sound like I'm the only one who can write these stories. Just send me a message if you're interested in contributing.
Finally, I wanted to thank Lookout! for helping set me up in this space and understanding my retirement from the FCBA Boxing Matches. I really hope this is a worthy addition to the board!
