That's a just great idea, man! Surely a good thing to give all these welter beauties some extra attention! We're glad that Camille can be a part of this. That's just a marvelous line-up and we're really looking forward to it!

Thanks Girlsfriday and agreed, Bonzo, give the welters a little shine! Seems to me that winner of this tournament ought to have earned a shot at the belt - it is going to be a tough road!

Thank you both for the praise, of course Bonzo you along with Vassago and Lookout helped out with suggestions for the final field of fighters, so I want all of you to get the credit you deserve to. I love the welterweight division so I am glad I can help out where I can, it was hard to narrow down this field to eight, if I had the time I would have happily extended it. If this works out without a hitch (at least nothing major) I could maybe do this tournament once a year or every two years if that's something people would like, of course let's hope this one comes out a success first.

Not to rush things, but as I am confident this tournament will be a hit, I would love to see it become a regular event - give the welters a maybe needed shot in the arm. And I would be happy to have a certain Chin Checker participate - but understand, if you invite Palicki, she's gonna bring McCarthy to help in the corner, so expect chaos!

...I would love to see it become a regular event - give the welters a maybe needed shot in the arm.... I think that with the expansion of the number of fighters, an " annual"* tournament in EACH WEIGHT CLASS would be a good thing. Perhaps limit the entries to those NOT affiliated with a stable(?) or stable members lightly/rarely used. Definately, give the winner a title fight (why have a tournament if there's no payoff at the end? free publicity?) * yearly, but not all at year-end. Maybe bantams in Jan; lights in March (more light starting in Spring); flys in May (when 'May flys' abound) and welters in Nov (Turkey time)?

Thanks Sceej honestly Adrianne was one of the names I thought of for the tournament, but with her being the welterweight champion not long ago, I thought she didn't need the extra spotlight. I was also suggested Charlotte McKinney, I thought about Charlotte Flair, Behati Prinsloo, a few others of course if we do this again they could be in the next one.
