“Well, it feels good to keep busy,” AJ replies to a reporter’s question earlier on about her recent ups-and-downs in professional sports. “Losing to Paige (VanZant) certainly stung, especially when I found out days later that she’s the one who got offered a contract with GBS - it’s something I’ve been waiting and wanting for a long time. To think that if I’d won that bout, I might have gotten into a stable myself - it’s kinda sobering.”
The ex-WWE wrestler pauses as she considers her next words. “Still, Kristin’s going to be an interesting opponent for me. I’ve watched her on television before but I don’t know much about her skills in the ring. So we’ll see how it goes.”
Cavallari of course has made an appearance on VIX soil before, fighting Megan Fox back in 2017, just about when VIX as a stable was first starting out.
“Happy to be invited back,” the blonde actress nods with a smile. “AJ’s a legend in her own right, of course, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to test myself against someone I’ve personally watched on television and admired for the longest time.”
Ladies as cordial with their actions as they face-off in the ring proper: AJ dressed in a black crop top, white bikini briefs and yellow gloves, whereas Kristin’s going for a summer white and blue bikini, donning red gloves. Ladies are smiling as they bump gloves, but it’s not from any animosity this time as they wish each other the best of luck. Referee waves his hand and HERE we go with ten rounds of Flyweight action!
ROUND 1:
AJ energetic as usual, bounding forward as though she’s back inside the wrestling ring as she initiates with early strikes. Kristin cautious by nature, holds her ground with both arms up as she takes punches to the guard but mostly gets hit on the body as Lee enthusiastically takes whatever points she can. Lee just a while back found herself actually signed with an actual stable, but fallen on hard times recently with her in-ring activity put on hold. She stuns Kristin here no problem with a jab combo to the face in the third minute, another two lefts followed by a hard right that almost drives the blonde back, but Cavallari’s made of sterner stuff herself as she keeps moving, rotating back to face her adversary till the bell rings.
ROUND 2:
No one can really blame Kristin for her hesitance here: she’s not been in the ring for a good year now, still aclimatising back to getting hit and hitting in return. She gives AJ a good scare early in the first, a loose right hand too fast to catch and nailing her on the nose, then more follow-up jabs pester the ex-WWE wrestler about the ring. AJ realising she may be in for a fight indeed as the two ladies reset at opposite corners, Lee still testing the waters with left and right swerves of her head, only to find her shots hitting the arms most of the time. Kristin instead is the one who’s scoring points, counter-punching with rhythm and efficiency by snagging her opponent’s chin and cheek multiple times whenever she catches AJ by surprise.
ROUND 3:
Rounds are even thus far but we’re just getting started here! AJ back to poking at the head from afar, on occasion unleashes a tight hook meant to rattle the blonde actress but missing instead. Kristin remains calm, grunting a little as her head takes some hard knocks, but quickly regains her bearings and fires back just as AJ’s on the move towards her. Lee may be bouncing left and right but she’s getting predictable in there, with Cavallari herding her back bit by bit and then torturing her belly with clean shots once AJ gets caught on the ropes. Lee however is a difficult girl to pin down entirely, quickly scoots out of the pocket each time, but not before taking damage. Last minute and Lee is moving fast on her feet in the correct direction, controlling Kristin’s advance with her right hand stuck out constantly into her face, preventing an all-out charge.
ROUND 4:
Kristin however thinks she’s got a chance to go for broke here! The blonde CHARGES without much warning, rapid jabs suddenly devolving into all-out button mashing as she flies towards AJ without cause or concern. AJ surprised initially but quickly covers up as the first fists slam into the side of her arms and head, but she’s reflexively dipping her own shoulders and BLAM - NAILS the blonde with a snap uppercut outta nowhere, WHICH DROPS CAVALLARI TO THE FLOOR ON THE SPOT!! GOOD LORD that was quick!?? Kristin’s head snapped backwards back there, quickly losing her footing as though her strings were cut in an instant! DOWN SHE GOES onto her back and we have an early KNOCKDOWN from AJ Lee!! One expects the fight to continue from here but it looks like Kristin’s having a hard time just getting her head off the canvas, let alone back onto her knees and feet! Referee counting her all the way out to ten before WAVING this fight off!! It’s OVER!

AJ’s fortunes thus far may be hit-and-miss in the ring, one moment losing to Paige VanZant and then the next, scoring an impressive win over another blonde girl. Some would call this choice of opponent easy pickings for the brunette, however, with Kristin still rusty in the ring and AJ desperately needing a win of her own in her column. But a victory is a victory, and Lee’s already clambouring up all four corners of the turnbuckles and ropes, pointing high to the sky lights as she takes in the roar of the arena like before.
