Intro:
The main event is here, Emily DiDonato and Kate Upton lock horns once again, this time with a bout of beach boxing with body paint on their beautiful frames.
Copacabana Beach is the venue for this rematch, it was a year ago that Kate successfully defended her FCBA JMDD title by knocking out Emily in seven rounds.
Since then both have laid waste to most who've dared step up to them, Kate boxing on both sides of the Atlantic now, while Emily reached the mountain top in the lightweight division.
Though both have had a lot of success, they don't seem to have much respect for the other, plenty of trash talk over social media in the build up, Kate using the hash tag "Fates slayer" since she seems to be feuding with all the top fighters in the Fates Boxing stable.
Before they set off to Brazil, both had a face to face sit down on the set of the FCBA network, Hall of Famer Lucy Liu having the hard task of trying to moderate these two powerful women if things get out of hand, hence security stands next to Lucy beside the fighters.
First onto the set is Emily wearing a navy blue figure hugging dress, she hugs Lucy as she thanks the host for giving her a chance to tell Kate to her face how she feels about her.
On comes Kate wearing a black dress, with the blonde bombshell telling Emily "I'm right here if you have something to say!" With security quick to stand between the rivals, Lucy tries to tell both to calm down as insults fly between the two future opponent's.
Calming down enough so they can sit down, Emily fires straight at Kate "this crap about you being the Fates slayer, just because you were lucky against Taylor last month doesn't me.."
Kate interrupts with "oh thanks for reminding me of that, seeing your friend Taylor face down in the snow before I took my rightful place as the Queen of the Ice Hotel, I wish I had been able to push you into the snow, maybe I should bury you in the sand instead"
Emily's face turns red at the disrespect shown by Kate, picking up the glass of water in front of her, Emily tosses it in Kate's face as she yells "bytch!"
Before the security can react both women lunge across the table at each other, hair is pulled as they try to tug the other over the desk, one word insults fly as the guards struggle to break the hold each woman has.
Finally after several minutes of neither giving an inch, they separate at the urging of their managers, hair litters the desk as Lucy looks at both women with her mouth open in shock that neither is bald after that tug of war.
Led away from each other off the stage, Emily yells to Kate "I am going to f**k you up!" With Kate giving her the middle finger salute in return to show these two won't be hugging it out anytime soon.
The ring posts are set directly in the sand, no crowd here but cameras on each top of each post, while two cameramen take each side of the ring, the judges table is on side of the ring.
First onto the beach comes Emily with the Fates coach and a surprising guest, Taylor Swift is here to offer support it seems as she tells Emily "kick this bytches ass" before Emily climbs into the ring.
Emily is wearing a blue bikini with matching gloves, she has waves painted across her chest with a golden trident on the center, her hair is up in a bun, she shadow boxes as her coach tells her to keep cool and out box Upton.
Who arrives on the scene with her coach Julie Benz, seeing Taylor in the Fates corner, Kate is going to go around to have a "word" with Taylor, Julie needing to calm her down as Taylor mockingly waves at her with a big grin.
Kate gets into the ring wearing a gold bikini with matching gloves, gold chains are painted around her chest and upper back, her hair is tied into a ponytail, she stretches as her eyes alternate between her opponent and Swift at ringside.
Coming to the ring center, the fighters grind foreheads as Kate asks "so you need Taylor to distract me?" With Emily smirking as she replies "Taylor just wants to see me toss you in the sea like the whale you are" leading to shoving as the referee with coaches try to restore order.
Instead of touching gloves, they just turn back to their corners, the referee takes a deep breath knowing they could be in for a workout keeping this fight within the rules, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.
Round 1:
"Ding" both kick off the fight at the center of the ring, not much feeling out process here, they sting each others cheeks with straight punches, trying to knock each other back.
A missed straight by Kate leads her to getting clubbed with a right to her cheek, a jab smacks the top of Upton's head as Emily starts to work her towards the ropes.
But ducking under a left cross, Kate hammers two rights under the ribs of Emily, then lands a left across the boobs of DiDonato to make the taller model hiss out.
Back and forth goes the action, Kate looks more comfortable on the inside, using little nudges to open up spaces to work the body or to switch up top with overhand shots.
While Emily is landing straights into Kate's face to snap her head back, driving her to the outside of the ring with two or three punches into the face of the JMDD champion.
At the bell both shove apart, a very evenly fought round that sees both fighters cheeks already look a little marked up, storming back to their corners as neither looks in a good mood tonight.
Round 2:
Fighting it out again at the center of the ring, there's a little more defence shown by both fighters, realising maybe that they were shipping too many punches.
Parrying a straight by Emily, Kate slams a right into the mouth of her rival, adding a left hook to the jaw, Kate begins to back up DiDonato towards a corner.
Putting her head down, this is classic rampaging Upton, hammering the sides of her opponent's body with hooks till she gets pulled into a front headlock by Emily.
The referee splits them apart, once with some space to work in, Emily starts catching Kate with more jabs to set up her right hand, keeping Kate to boxing on the outside at range.
Till less then thirty seconds when Kate dips under a jab to hammer in a right to the body, an overhand left lands on the chin of Emily to turn her head, Emily finds herself pinned to the ropes as the bell rings to end the round.
Kate smiling as she jogs back to her corner, Julie telling her not to get too cocky, across the ring Taylor tells Emily to keep outboxing Kate, don't let her get into bulldozer mode or this will be over quickly.
Round 3:
Emily steps back out her corner sticking and moving more, drilling her punches into the top of the smaller fighters head to keep her at range, snapping back the head of Upton that gets a big smile from Taylor.
Stepping inside to work to the body of Emily, Kate won't be kept back too long, with Emily needing to use her left shoulder to bump back her fellow model to range.
A double jab smacks Kate on her nose, stepping back out the way of an overhand right by Kate, Emily slams a right to the side of the head of her rival; turning the head of Upton.
With Emily beginning to knock back Kate towards a corner, Kate forced to shield her face, with DiDonato switching to the body with sneaking punches to the boobs of the pinned fighter.
Pushing Emily so she can get out the corner, Kate starts to fire her way back to the ring center, there's a grandstand finish to the round as they slug it out at midrange.
The round ends with Kate kicking up sand in annoyance as she jogs back to her corner, Julie telling her not to lose her cool, while Taylor is beaming as she talks to Emily in the Fates corner.
Round 4:
Bumping her fists together as she steps out her corner, Kate looking for a way to the inside as she moves her upper body more, still getting clipped to her cheeks as she throws jabs at the abs of DiDonato.
A right lands across Kate's cheek as she tries to move in closer, a double jab follows to send some sweat off the head of the Lookout! Fighter to press her back towards the ropes.
While Emily looks comfortable at range, she misses with a right cross as Kate slips it and pounds a left to the jaw of DiDonato to turn her head, an uppercut follows to knock back the taller model to her heels.
Back across the ring to the opposite ropes, Kate is unleashing her fury, gritting her gumshield as she swings towards the head of Emily, who has to simply cover up and endure for the time being.
Once Kate starts targeting the abs of Emily, she forces the older fighter to pull her into a clinch, both grappling along the ropes as Kate tries to push Emily through the ropes.
The round ends with the referee struggling to pull the fighters apart, their coaches help to get their fighters back to their corners, the referee looks to the heavens wondering what they've gotten into it.
Round 5:
There's a hard fought exchange to start the round, they both slam in cross punches as Kate steps after Emily, looking to close that gap quickly so she can unleash her power.
Emily sidesteps Kate when the smaller fighter misses with an overhand left, Emily slams a straight into the cheek of Upton, a left follows to the jaw of Kate to turn her head.
It isn't long before Kate again misses as Emily steps back out the way of a left cross, an uppercut smacks Kate on her chin, A LEFT HOOK THEN SLAMS ACROSS KATE'S JAW TO SEND HER TO THE SIDE!
"Come on!" Yells Emily as she heads to the neutral corner, 1...2...3... Kate turns to her front and shoves to herself to all fours, 4...5...6.. Shaking her head as she stares at the referee, 7...8.. Getting to her feet banging her gloves together as she shows she is OK to continue.
More boxing on the back foot, Kate manages to catch Emily with several good clean counter punches to the body and boobs of Emily to try to give her something to think about.
But the more aggressive Emily is controlling the pace, landing a double jab/straight into Kate's head to snap it back, pushing Kate into a corner with more punches into the stunning face of Upton, who clinches up to stop the assault she is under.
The clinch itself isn't the cleanest, Emily trying to shove her forearm into the face of Kate, getting a warning from the referee after they are broken apart.
The fighters trade single punches as Kate keeps on the move, trying not to get cornered in the final seconds of the round, when the bell rings she turns back to her corner with Julie looking upset.
In the Fate's corner Taylor gives Emily a pat on her back, the coach reminds Emily to be careful with Kate, knowing she is still dangerous until she can't stand.
Round 6:
Going after Kate from the off, Emily is clearly looking to end this, loading up her right fist to try to take off the head of her rival, just missing though as Kate doesn't look too badly hurt.
In fact Kate dips under a straight, using her left shoulder to bump back Emily, AN UPPERCUT THEN SMACKS EMILY ON HER CHIN TO SEND HER ONTO HER BACKSIDE!
Roaring down at Emily "stay down!" By Kate, the referee has to nudge Kate away to the neutral corner, 1...2...3... Emily shakes her head to clear the cobwebs, 4...5... Pushing to a knee as she doesn't look too badly hurt, 6...7.. Getting to her feet staring daggers at her opponent.
The action resumes with both women landing stiff shots to the others cheeks, Kate uses her left to bump back Emily to her heels, banging back Emily with two overhand punches to each cheek.
Back onto the ropes, Emily is pinned behind her guard as Kate tries to break it open to batter her rival, barking with effort when she switches to the body, making Emily hiss as she gets hit cleaner.
The round comes to a close with both fighters looking to their coaches as they return to their corners, Kate knowing she can't make the same mistake as Emily did to her.
While Emily punches the top turnbuckle, Taylor looks a little worried for the first time, with their coach telling Emily not to get worked up, washing down Emily as they tell her what she needs to fix if she is to win.
Round 7:
Slowing down a little as neither wants to find themselves eating sand again, Emily looks more comfortable at this pace as she drills Kate in her face, causing blood to run from the nostrils of Upton with a double jab.
That seems to fire back up Kate, who slams a right into the mouth of Emily, with an overhand left smacking the taller fighter to her cheek, a right grazes the chin of DiDonato.
Pressing back Emily to the ropes, Kate is using her left to try to pin back her opponent while digging in her right to the body, driving air from her opponent.
Getting nudged back by Emily, Kate takes a right cross to her cheek, a jab follows to push back Kate to the center of the ring, where they slug it out with heads nearly bumping.
Using their shoulders to bump into each other, trying to bully other backwards, it's Kate who lands the better shots as she knocks back Emily onto her heels with two cross punches to the jaw.
At the bell Emily curses herself as she returns to her corner, Kate gets her nose patched up but the Lookout! Corner looks to be relaxing a little after a tense few rounds.
Round 8:
Looking to get into the face of Emily early on, Kate lands a straight to the abs, she takes a right across the top of her head in reply, the pair trading stiff shots as they throw more with their feet planted.
Emily uses her left to nudge back Kate, landing a right to her opponent's jaw, Kate finding herself knocked towards the ropes with blood running from the champions nose.
Pushing back Emily so she can get off the ropes, Kate lands a straight into the mouth of DiDonato, a left across those lips cuts open the bottom lip of Emily to make her wince.
The fighters trade at the ring center, hands getting snapped back as blood and sweat flies off them, both their chests are rising faster as the pace finally seems to be getting to both fit women.
Under a minute to go, Emily lands a double jab on that bloody nose, stepping in with an uppercut to knock back Upton two steps, that last punch looked to shake up Kate as she gets driven back to the ropes.
The round comes to a close with Kate covering up on the ropes, Emily nods over to her corner crew as she walks back to there, she senses she hurt Kate there.
With Upton getting washed down by Julie, who tells her that this fight is too close to call, she needs a good run from now to make sure she gets her hand raised.
Round 9:
Fighting around the ring with stinging jabs to start, Emily leans out the way of a right hook as Kate tries to catch her out, instead an uppercut knocks back Kate a step.
A left/right smacks Kate on her temples, her eyes shut as Emily seems to find a second wind, bashing back Kate to a corner, more blood run from the nose of Upton to bring tears to her eyes, WITH A LEFT HOOK SMACKING KATE ONTO HER CHIN TO SEND HER FALLING TO HER FRONT IN THE SAND!
Walking to the neutral corner, Emily grins over to Taylor as she rests against the turnbuckles, arms over the top ropes as the count soon begins over Kate.
1...2...3.. Kate slowly looks up with sand and blood on her face, 4...5...6.. Kate looks too badly dazed to move at all, 7...8...9...10 that's it for Kate! She is counted out!
Winner Emily DiDonato KO Round 9
After:
Emily gets her payback, though right now she is just able to smile as she takes a moment to get her breath fully back, Taylor yelling "you did it!" With a thumbs up to her stablemate.
Julie checks on Kate, helping her to get to her knees so she can clean up her face, stopping the blood from the nose of Upton, she tries to console Kate as she has tears in her eyes.
Over comes Taylor and Emily, Taylor shoving Julie over to her back as Emily stares angrily at Kate, her gloves taken off now so she can make her point it seems.
Dragging up Kate by her hair to her feet, Emily slaps her across the face, making Kate turn and nearly fall into the ropes, Julie screaming for the Fates duo to leave her fighter alone.
Taylor tells Julie "you weren't exactly stopping Kate humiliating us did you? This is our payback for that bytch" she steps outside the ring and holds Kate by her hair against the turnbuckles, nodding to Emily which turns out to be a signal to give Upton a taste of her medicine.
Rushing from across the ring, Emily splashes Kate as Kate has done to countless women around the world, doing it another two times as sweat flies off their bodies, groans escape the lips of Kate, she is only seemingly being held up by Taylor.
After they are done that, Emily pushes Kate through the ropes outside the ring, Julie tries to pull at Emily as she tells her to leave Kate alone, Emily brushes her off as Julie knows if she strikes one the other Fate's fighter will hit her back.
Instead she has to watch Kate be dragged to the tide, her top ripped off her by Taylor as the singer yells "you've always thought yourself mighty queen! Well I owe you for the snow bytch!" Tossing with Emily, Kate into the water.
Kate splashes in the shallow water as she tries to cover her bare breasts, a camera films it till the FCBA network are told to cut the feed, the next time Kate is seen with a towel around her as she coughs on the beach with Julie putting an arm around her shoulder.
Emily and Taylor high five before they head off the beach, making sure to have given Kate as they view it a taste of her medicine, this is probably not the last by a long way that Kate meets either Fates boxer in the ring again, this feud heating right up.
