“Welcome to the Fates Spring Fling PPV!” Hannah Davis exclaims as the cameras go live and the crowd at Soldier Field roars to life. “I’m your host, Hannah Davis. But you’re not hear to hear about me – you’re here for the fights, featuring eight current or former champions between the FCBA and the BBU.”
“Up first is a flyweight bout between the Lioness Club’s Cheryl Cole and Fates’ Katherine McNamara. We then go to lightweight action as the ‘Chin Checker’ herself, Adrianne Palicki of Sceej, faces off against Taylor Swift of Fates for the second time. After that, we go to bantamweight, where Knockout Babes’ Daisy Ridley faces off against Fates’ Elizabeth Olsen!” Hannah pauses, “Then, for the first part of the British invasion of Fates, new stable member Rosie Huntington-Whiteley faces off against Lookout’s Doutzen Kroes in a blonde model rematch from 2012. Following up the battle of the former Angels is free agent Iggy Azalea going up against the soon to be revealed welterweight signing from Fates. Who is she?” Hannah asks rhetorically.
“Well, I’ll give you a hint, she’s the other part of the British invasion.” Davis smiles, hinting at the identity of the newest fighter. “For the penultimate fight, old FCBA meets the new guard as Chimera’s Blake Lively fights Front Street Boxing’s Taylor Hill!” The crowd cheers loudly as Hill’s name is announced.
“And the main event. For the FCBA lightweight title, Kendall Jenner of Girls Friday challenges Emily DiDonato, the Goshen Goddess, of Fates Boxing and the current FCBA Lightweight Champion!”
"But that's enough talking, time for the fighting action!"
Katherine McNamara (Fates) vs. Cheryl Cole (Lioness Club)
Cheryl Cole: 36 years old, 5’3,” 58-33 since 2010, Lioness Club
Katherine McNamara: 24 years old, 5’4,” 7-4 since 2017, Fates Boxing
The first fight of the night sees two girls with wildly different levels of experience collide in a battle of old versus new. Cheryl Cole’s closing in on 100 fights while McNamara hit her tenth earlier this year.
Hannah Davis gets on the microphone. “For the first fight – introducing first, from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. With a combined FCBA and BBU record of 58 wins and 33 losses since 2010. She is a former BBU flyweight champion with six title defenses. Representing the Lioness Club, Cheryl Cole!”
Cole struts out to the ring on the walkway with grace, seemingly floating by in her white and red robe. Cheryl quickly slips into the ring and removes her robe to reveal a white sports bra with the Union Jack on the back with matching trunks and red gloves with white trim.
“And her opponent,” Davis returns to the microphone, “from Kansas City, Missouri. With a record of 6 wins and 4 losses since 2017. Representing Fates Boxing, Katherine McNamara!”
The young redhead storms out from the back to the ovation from over 70,000 people and quickly makes her way to the ring. McNamara looks at the camera as she takes off her robe to reveal an orange sports bra with black trunks and black gloves.
The two girls get up close to each other, and McNamara looks slightly down at Cole – a woman who is no stranger to fighting taller girls. The referee motions for the two to touch gloves, which they oblige, and then the official calls for the bell and off we go with the Fates Spring Fling!
Round 1:
The more experienced Cole starts out with a few jabs, looking to gauge the younger McNamara. Katherine keeps her guard up as Cheryl looks to get a sense for the American and counterpunches Cheryl, landing a weak left to the Brit’s face. Cherly retreats before Kat has an opportunity to follow up and the two girls effectively reset the fight. Kat now is the one to launch the jabs, and she connects with a right early on. Cole takes a step back and McNamara quickly steps forwards, hitting Cole’s guard before hitting her ribs. The British singer scowls and tags McNamara’s chin with a left. The actress looks to counter but Cole beats her to the punch, literally, as she gets Kat in the nose and blood dribbles down to Kat’s upper lip. McNamara’s a bit staggered and she retreats, but Cole relentlessly pursues McNamara, chasing her around the ring without a second to breathe until the bell. McNamara had some moments early on, but Cole takes the round thanks to her resurgence.
Round 2:
McNamara charges forward with youthful exuberance and Cole smacks the redhead in the chin, expecting to knock her back, but the young American actress stays right where she is and returns the favor to Cole. Cheryl drops back as Kat follows her, looking to remain the aggressor as she mixes feints and punches, though the English singer keeps up her guard and looks for the counter. McNamara lands a solid right to Cole’s ribs, moving the Brit backwards ever so slightly, but Cole comes back with a bodyshot of her own that drops Kat back. Both girls begin to circle each other, trading jabs that bounce off of the other girl’s guard until Kat steps up and splits Cheryl’s guard and her gloves make it to the Brit’s chin. Cheryl quickly steps back and wards Katherine off with two jabs that nearly smack the redhead in the mouth, but the redhead stops advancing on a dime to avoid the blows. The bell rings to end the round, and McNamara takes it on points, close.
Round 3:
McNamara again gets out of her corner quickly and Cole is ready for the bold youngster, popping a left into her mouth, busting open her upper lip right off the bat. Kat momentarily stunned coming to her wits and brings up her guard just a second before Cheryl launches a big follow-up right that ends up crashing into the young girl’s guard. McNamara responds by shifting to her right and finding a right through to Cole’s body and the two girls reset, as Kat wants to avoid sticking around and leaving herself open to a counter. The girls begin to circle each other, both feinting as they look to see an opening to exploit. Cheryl starts to up the frequency of her feints and jabs, forcing Kat to be the one who is on her back foot reacting to Cheryl’s initiative. Cole landing good licks, picking at Kat’s body, but the slightly taller McNamara tags her back, and when the round ends, while Cheryl had the initiative, Kat had enough responses to keep this one close.
Round 4:
Cole and McNamara pick up right where they left off, circling and trading jabs to start the round. Cole getting the better of McNamara early on, predicting where Kat’s going and popping the young actress, knocking her backwards. Cheryl slowly works Kat into the corner where she tees up two punches into Kat’s midriff, but the redhead fires off a straight right with lightning speed and smacks Cheryl in her nose, momentarily stunning the singer and giving Kat an opening to work Cheryl back into the center of the ring. Cole plants her feet and catches McNamara with a quick left to the chin. Cole quickly moves in to string together a series of blows, but Kat shows off her counter and that if nothing else, she’s not going to get knocked around the ring without fighting back. Young redhead showing off her fire, matching Cheryl blow for blow until the Brit comes up with a cheeky right cross that catches Kat’s chin before the bell. Another round goes to Cheryl as Kat falls further behind, but the young actress is keeping it close for Fates.
Round 5:
Both girls get out of their corners and into a rhythm right off the bat, with McNamara being the aggressor and Cole looking for the counter. Kat starts off with a driving right that clips Cheryl in her mouth, but the Brit responds with a left that pops Kat in her left cheek. Cole feints high and McNamara bites as the singer goes body, thumping McNamara’s ribs. Kat takes the punches and quickly shifts left, then sticks a right into Cole’s midriff. Cheryl looks to counter but McNamara neatly dodges the response and Kat sticks Cheryl in the nose and the Brit gives up ground. Kat chases the singer around the ring, trying to leverage her extra height into covering the distance more quickly than the older girl, but Cole keeps away from McNamara with a well-placed left jab that snaps McNamara’s head backwards. Cheryl advances as time dwindles in the round, firing off a salvo of lefts and rights into Kat’s guard and – Cheryl’s body juts back, her body bent over as Kat buries a right into the singer’s body. McNamara stays close and raps two quick blows off of her opponent’s chest as Cheryl’s giving her body up by the bell. The round goes to Kat based on her late surge, and she wins it close.
Round 6:
McNamara charges out of the gate again, but this time she’s ready for Cole looking for an early jab and keeps her guard up high as she closes in. Cheryl slides right to escape but Kat shuffles to her left and cuts the Brit off, then slips a right into Cole’s solar plexus and the singer gasps as the wind rushes by her teeth and she’s almost fully bent over. Kat smacks Cheryl with a right hook that smacks Cole back up, pain etched in her eyes as she covers up her vulnerable body and Kat smacks a left hook into the singer’s chin. Cole gives up her body and McNamara lands one, two, three big punches into the Brit’s torso and the singer goes down in a heap! Kat retreats to the corner as Cheryl groans, clutching her body as the ref starts his count. By six, Cole has pulled her knees up and at seven, she tries to move her body up, but she just can’t and comes back down to the canvas. The ref hits ten and it is all over – your winner by KO6, Katherine McNamara!
After:
Kat breaks out into a smile as she’s declared the winner and raises her arms, waving to the crowd. Once Cheryl’s got more energy, Kat goes over and hugs Cole on her stool before heading over to Hannah Davis for her interview.
“Congrats on the victory, Kat!” Davis exclaims, “Now, you were a huge underdog coming into tonight’s fight, with Cheryl having almost ten times the number of victories that you have. What’s going through your mind right now?”
“Well,” McNamara begins, “I just wanted to come out and fight to my strengths. I’m younger and slightly bigger, and thought I could get an advantage that way. I think Cheryl’s a wonderful fighter, and I know that she could have easily won this fight had some things gone differently.” McNamara manages to get out all of her words, breathing heavily between sentences.
Hannah nods, “So, what’s next?”
“Well, I don’t know about what’s next for me. Keep on fighting and working my way up. But I do know that we have a debut and a vicious rematch next, so I’m excited to watch what’s coming up next.” With that, Katherine McNamara heads to the back, while the excitement for the next match only grows."
Taylor Swift: 30 years old, 5’11”, 44-19 since 2009, Fates Boxing
Adrianne Palicki: 37 years old, 5’11”, 35-31 since 2008, Sceej Boxing
Before:
The press conference is buzzing as the next two girls walk in before their match in what easily could have been the main event if DiDonato didn’t have the title.
“I don’t care that she beat me before,” Taylor yells before she can even sit down at the table. “I’m going to beat her and even the score. She may be the ‘Chin-Checker’ but I’m the Queen.”
Palicki merely rolls her eyes, “We’ll see about that when you’re out cold.”
Swift jumps up and stares Palicki down, who merely rises up and stars Taylor in her eyes with neither girl backing down. They’re eventually separated, but one thing is for sure – they don’t like each other, and they’ll have a chance to settle their differences in the ring tonight.
Hannah gets back on the microphone to announce the second match.
“This next fight is a rematch from 2018, when Adrianne Palicki took Taylor Swift down in eight rounds.” Davis announces, “But Swift has since changed management and Palicki has made a shift to welterweight, so plenty has changed since their last fight.” The crowd cheers as one of the biggest fights of the night is about to come on.
“First, from Toledo, Ohio. Boasting a record of 35 wins and 31 losses since 2008. She is two-time former lightweight champion and has also held the welterweight title. The Chin-Checker, Adrianne Palicki!”
Davis announces the actress and the stadium cheers wildly for Palicki as she steps out into the light. Adrianne is wearing a silver bikini with red gloves for the fight, her hair up in a bun. The actress is all business in the ring, waiting for her opponent to enter.
“And now for her opponent tonight. From Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.” Hannah gets back on the mic. “With 44 wins and 19 losses since 2009. She is a former lightweight champion and holds the record for most consecutive lightweight title defenses with nine successful defenses. The Alpha Blonde, the Queen of the FCBA and pop music, Taylor Swift!
The crowd roars again for Swift, but there are some fans chanting “Upton, Upton, Upton” or even “Emily, Emily, Emily,” referencing the blonde’s losses to Kate Upton and Emily DiDonato this year. Taylor’s chosen a royal purple sports bra and matching trunks with the same color gloves, her blonde hair tied up. She stares daggers at Palicki as she steps into the ring.
The ref quickly gets between the two, briefly gives final instructions, and after looking at their intense glares at each other, just calls for the bell.
Round 1:
Swift and Palicki quickly get out of their corners and they instantly start trading ranged blows, looking to use their jabs to do work early on. Taylor and Adrianne both land blows onto the other woman’s chin in the first minute, but neither can take advantage of it. Swift and Palicki start circling each other, keeping up with the ranged game despite the fact that neither is accustomed to fighting a girl as tall as themselves or having quite the same range. Palicki steps in, fakes left and goes right, splitting Swift’s guard, but the singer already has her counter ready. Taylor unloads a bullet of a right to Palicki’s left cheek, catching the older woman by surprise, then follows up with a left that skips off of Palicki’s guard and hits the older girl’s ear. The brunette holds her own and tags her blonde opponent back, but Taylor responds with a straight right that audibly skips off of Palicki’s cheek, but had the blonde connecting with it to her opponent’s chin, it may have been lights out. Adrianne backs off, not wanting to give Taylor an opportunity for another big punch, and she keeps her distance to the bell. The judges determine that Swift takes the opening frame, close.
Round 2:
The second round begins with both girls using their long legs to close in on each other and trading blows at range. Swift the first to land a solid blow, slipping a left past Palicki’s guard as the singer feint a right to bait Palicki before connecting with the left. Adrianne keeps her guard up as Taylor pops a quick right into the actress’ ribs and shifts left, but Adrianne shoots out a rocket of a right that connects with Swift’s chin and the singer’s legs go wobbly! The Chin-Checker still living up to her name still even as she enters her 13th year in the FCBA. Palicki hammers Swift a straight left and the blonde singer is in full retreat, giving up body as Adrianne shifts her focus to the blonde’s body and working her into the ropes. Adrianne nails two withering body blows on Taylor before the younger girl clinches and forces a break. Once the action resumes, Swift looking to play the ranged game while Palicki tries to move in and wear down Swift’s body, but the singer sticks Palicki with a right the two times the brunette starts to close distance. The bell rings and both girls go back to their corners, with Palicki taking the round, wide, thanks to getting Swift into the ropes early.
Round 3:
Adrianne immediately starts jabbing at Taylor as the two girls circle each other and the Chin Checker strikes early, faking a straight to the head with her left before sliding close and hammering Swift’s chest with a right. Taylor drops back, guard up as Adrianne advances, dips to her left, and splits Swift’s guard with a right that skips off of the singer’s face and past her ear. Palicki’s lunged in and she realizes her vulnerable position just a second too late and Swift slams a right of her own at Palicki, and she gets all of the brunette’s face with that blow, snapping Palicki’s head snaps back. Taylor shifts to her right and digs a left into Adrianne’s ribs, forcing the Chin Checker back to a distance. The blonde and brunette circle each other, trading shots from range until Palicki lands a left that knocks Swift back in the waning seconds of the round. The bell rings and Palicki takes another round, but this time, close.
Round 4:
The fourth starts with Swift getting out of her corner more aggressively than the previous two rounds and has shifted her focus to Palicki’s body, working two quick ribshots into the actress’ body. Adrianne fires back with a left that clips Swift in the chin, but the blonde singer didn’t get to the top of the lightweight division without being able to take a shot and Taylor fires two quick blows into Adrianne’s face and the older woman instinctively wraps her arms around Swift, forcing a break. Out of the break, Swift chases Palicki around the ring, jabbing out and looking to corner the brunette, but Adrianne’s counterpunching effectively, never letting Swift cleanly hit her without a response that forces Taylor to back off. Swift getting frustrated as she can’t get into a consistent rhythm of hitting and charges at Palicki and the two collide in the ropes as they’re wrapped up at the bell. They stare each other down briefly before separating themselves. Swift takes the round on points, wide, and gets back into the fight.
Round 5:
The halfway round begins with Swift looking to keep up the aggression as she steps toward Palicki and shoots out a right-left combo that splits the actress’ guard on the second blow. Taylor moves in and goes back to body with a right, driving the air out of Adrianne’s lungs. Swift winds up a left and swings at Palicki’s head but it sails wide as Palicki buries a right into Swift’s chin, knocking the blonde backwards. Adrianne advances, efficiently covering the distance between herself and Taylor and feints a body shot only to go high and catch Taylor in the nose, drawing a small trickle of blood. Swift drops back, her guard protecting her face and nose as Palicki steps up again and gets her head snapped backwards by a big straight from Taylor. Blonde girl gets in a glancing blow to Palicki’s body before the older fighter collects herself and gets Taylor in the ribs again. Both girls trade jabs as a stalemate ensues to the bell, and when all is said and done, the judges deem the round to be a tie.
Round 6:
The fight enters its back half as the toll of the previous five rounds becomes apparent as the two fighters take more time as they get out to the center of the ring. Swift again comes out swinging, flanking Palicki after sticking her with a quick left. The Chin Checker shifts left to stop Taylor’s maneuver and catches the blonde with a right jab to the chin and Swift’s long legs give a shimmy! Swift involuntarily steps back on wobbly legs and Palicki hammers a left through the singer’s guard and follows up with two rights that connect squarely with Taylor’s chin and down goes Swift! Swift shaking her head as the referee counts over her. Palicki watches closely from the corner as Taylor makes her way back up at a count of eight, slightly unsteady on her feet, but good enough to continue. Adrianne goes back after Taylor, looking to get around the blonde’s guard and working her body, but Taylor pops two good blows into Adrianne’s ribs, showing that while she may have been knocked down, she still has plenty of fight left. Adrianne tries to press for an advantage, slinging rights and lefts from range, but Taylor weathers the storm to the bell thanks to her guard. Unsurprisingly, Palicki wins the round on points, wide, thanks to her knockdown.
Round 7:
Worried faces in the Fates corner as they tend to Taylor Swift while the Sceej corner is just telling the Chin Checker to keep it up and Swift won’t be able to get up. Swift looks to keep away from the actress from Ohio but the blonde singer’s laboring in her steps and just can’t keep away from Palicki as the actress buries leather into Taylor’s midriff and knocks the blonde back, bent slightly forward, rear sticking out. Palicki takes the opportunity to pop a right through Swift’s guard and into her nose, drawing more blood than before and snapping Swift’s head backwards. The Fates corner is screaming at Taylor to wrap Adrianne up as the Ohio girl drives Swift into the ropes, absolutely thumping her body as the singer struggles to wrap her arms around Palicki and hold on for dear life, but she eventually does. The ref separates the two fighters and Palicki goes right back after Swift again, looking to finish the former champ. Palicki feints high and takes a right straight to the jaw. Taylor gets in a body blow before the two both back off, neither girl wanting to overstay and invite a devastating blow before the end of the round. The bell rings and while the Sceej corner was hoping for Adrianne to finish Taylor off, she nevertheless wore down the blonde even more, winning the round on points, wide.
Round 8:
The Chin Checker steps out of the Sceej corner, a fire in her eyes as she stares down an exasperated Swift as both women step towards each other. From the get go, it’s clear that Taylor’s fading as she only looks to counter Adrianne’s blows, backpedaling as Adrianne seems unstoppable from the previous two rounds. Palicki dips right and sticks Swift with a left, snapping Taylor’s head back and forcing the blonde to give up ground. Adrianne pursues her, a look of excitement in her eyes as she is on the verge of coming back with a statement win after losing the welterweight title. Palicki feints right, skips a left off of Swift’s cheek and Taylor responds with a right hook that crashes gets all of Adrianne’s jaw and now it’s Palicki who wobbles on her legs! Adrianne head is open as her arms flare out instinctively and Taylor snaps back the actress’ head with a straight left. Palicki gets her guard up to cover her head, but she gives up her body as Swift pounds lefts and rights into her torso, bruising a tattoo up her ribs. Adrianne’s guard droops and Taylor hammers another right home, and this time Palicki just wraps Swift up, trying to hold the blonde until the bell, which mercifully comes. Adrianne unwraps her arms, her face red as she’s breathing heavily. Both girls are drenched in sweat at the end of the eighth, but Taylor Swift has to be feeling like she’s in the better spot going into the final two rounds after turning the tide and winning the eighth by points, wide.
Round 9:
Swift seeming to get her second wind as she gets out of her corner with a new spring in her step and wastes no time in going after Palicki. Taylor uses her long legs to quickly close the distance with Adrianne and feints high, drawing the actress’ guard high, then plunges a right into Palicki’s midriff, punching the air out of her lungs. The air rushes past Palicki’s teeth as she reels from the singer’s blow, and the Ohio native drops back and plants her feet before throwing out a counter, which crashes into Taylor’s guard, then follows up with a punch to the ribs, but Swift is unfazed. Swift shifts right and sticks a right jab right into Palicki’s chin and Palicki again is wobbly! Taylor drives a right into Adrianne’s body as the actress retreats, covering her head again as she gives up her body for the second time in two rounds and Taylor pounds a right into Adrianne’s solar plexus, nearly bending Palicki over. Swift straightens out the actress with a left as her guard breaks down and then connects with a right hook that sends Palicki to the canvas! Adrianne’s groaning on the canvas, clutching her body, but still tries to get up. She gets to all fours at six, pushes her upper body up – and crashes right back down and can’t beat the count. Your winner by KO9, Taylor Swift!
After:
Taylor pounds her chest after the victory and poses on the ringpost, showing off her long legs and toned body to the crowd. The blonde singer smiles as she raises her arms, then leaves the ring without checking in on Palicki, let alone glancing at the fallen actress, who’s still dazed after being helped onto a stool.
Swift goes over to Davis with a fiery look in her eyes.
“Taylor, talk about that fight,” Davis notices Swift’s look and lets her go.
“Adrianne beat me once, she wasn’t going to beat me twice.” Swift starts, “She may be tough, she may have won the lightweight title twice and the welterweight title. But she can’t hang with me. Because I’m taking names and knocking girls out. That’s what happens when you go up against the most dominant lightweight champ in FCBA history and the Alpha Blonde of the FCBA. I don’t care who you are or what your record is, I’ll remind you who I am all the same.”
Swift stops and Davis has a look of surprise in her eyes, “So, what’s next? Or maybe the better question is, who’s next?”
Taylor looks right at the camera, “Whoever wants to get put to sleep. Including those girls Tess Valmore thinks I’ll get put to sleep by – it didn’t happen tonight.”
With that, the blonde singer heads to the back, clearly ready for whatever fights she may have in her future.
Elizabeth Olsen versus Daisy Ridley Fates Boxing vs Knockout Babes
Elizabeth Olsen
Daisy Ridley
We have a fight between two stars of Disney's Franchises, Marvel movie star Elizabeth Olsen battles Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley here in Chicago's world famous stadium Soldier Field.
Elizabeth is 31 years old; she stands 5'5, holding a record of 28 wins, 24 coming by way of knockout, with 24 defeats.
Daisy is 28 years old; she stands 5'8, holding a record of 19 wins, 18 coming by way of knockout, with 8 defeats, she is the current BBU bantamweight champion.
In terms of the FCBA rankings, they are just outside that elite top ten which both have flirted with throughout their careers, a big win here may move them into that contendership spot and maybe a future FCBA title shot.
The fighters are interviewed by Alicia Atout for the FCBA Network in the interview area of Soldier Field, first in front of the FCBA badge and the events multiple sponsors is Elizabeth, she is wearing a red tracksuit top and bottoms with white sneakers.
She is asked about her preparation for this fight, Liz answers "I feel in awesome shape, the Fates training crew I feel is one of the best in all the FCBA, knowing what I am up against tonight, I need to be at my absolute best to overcome Daisy" Alicia nodding in agreement at that last part.
Elizabeth turns to the camera as she continues "see Daisy has done what I haven't been able to do yet, she holds a title, while so far I keep getting near but it still feels such a long way away that I'll have my own belt to show that I am that damn good in that ring"
With a smile as she points to the camera, the American actress finishes by saying "when I beat you Daisy, I will take one big step towards my goal, you seem a great person I'll admit, nobody stands in my way for what I want though, so expect fireworks Alicia" she pats the interviewer on the shoulder before heading off.
Next up is Daisy wearing a blue T-shirt with a Jedi badge on the front in silver, black jeans and heels, she is looking excited as she hugs Alicia before they get to talking.
Asked about how she feels coming into this fight, Daisy replies "I won't lie my results have been a little up and down, with the support of my stable behind me though, I am ready to go on a real run towards the titles here in the FCBA"
Tapping her waist with a smile, Daisy adds "I mean to become only the third woman to hold an FCBA and BBU title at the same time would be unreal, hell if I could win an ACB title too would be something" winking to Alicia as they smile warmly at that thought.
Then Alicia asks Daisy about Elizabeth, nodding with a more serious look, Daisy answers "Elizabeth can certainly go in that ring, it might surprise you but I think she is vastly underrated, she is slick in the ring"
Grinning now, Daisy continues "problem for her is that I am coming into my own as a fighter, if this was a fight two years ago, I'd put my money on her honestly, right this moment in time she still hasn't found that bit extra to be a champ, the fact I'm BBU champion is all the proof I need that I've grown into that elite star" Alicia and Daisy shake hands before Daisy leaves.
Fighting time; out first comes Elizabeth with the Fates coach beside her, she looks focused as she walks down the aisle, fans cheering her on as she is wearing a red hoodie.
Unzipping and taking off the hoodie as she stands at the ring steps, Elizabeth is revealed to be wearing a red sports bra with black trim, matching trunks and shoes, red gloves with black thumbs, while her hair is tied back into a fighting ponytail.
Getting through the ropes into her corner, Liz bounces on her toes as she pumps her right fist into the air, settling into her warm up routine as the importance on a win against someone the caliber of Daisy certainly isn't lost on her.
Now out comes Daisy with Jennifer O'Dell beside her, Daisy is wearing a Chicago Bears jersey to maybe try to win the crowds support, they are loving the gesture as they roar for her as she smiles and waves at them.
Getting help taking it off, Jennifer tosses the jersey into the front row for a young fan to get the memento of a Daisy Ridley Bear's jersey, a truly one of a kind item.
Stepping inside the ring, Daisy is wearing her usual baby blue sports bra, matching satin trunks, shoes and gloves, her hair is also tied into a ponytail, with Daisy going through her own warm up as she gets deadly serious.
The referee brings the fighters together at the center of the ring, while they seem friendly enough outside the ring, the stern looks they are exchanging shows their are no friends inside the squared circle.
Told to touch gloves, they fist bump with a nod of respect, turning on their heels back to their corners as duel chants ring out in the electric atmosphere, the sound of the bell is almost not heard as 10 rounds of bantamweight action kicks off now!
Round 1:
At the bell both are up on their toes, they like to box on the outside normally, Daisy starting off the quicker thanks to that slight reach advantage, darting more side to side of the two, landing the cleaner punches in the opening thirty seconds.
In comes Olsen with a right to the abs, moving back as Daisy swings a right cross that just smirks the top of Liz's head, Daisy does land a jab to the forehead of Elizabeth to show the Fates fighter this is going to be a tricky proposition tonight.
Ducking down more after being kept mostly at range through the opening minute, Elizabeth is getting more success coming up the middle to work the abs of Ridley, making her grunt out with each clean hit.
Now it is Daisy having more trouble of the two, Olsen's upper body movement is allowing her to slip punches better to get to that inside, where they fight it out hard, Liz's smaller frame coming in handy as she is able to dodge more at this range.
Coming into the final minute, Elizabeth slips a straight aimed at her head, landing a hard overhand left to the jaw of the English fighter, she is able to muscle back the covering up Ridley with piston like body shots.
The round comes to a close with Elizabeth getting a thumbs up from her coach, Daisy on the other hand getting told to keep her opponent at range, wear her down before sending her to the canvas the simple game plan.
Round 2:
Doubling up her jab right away, Daisy is stinging the cheeks of her opponent, darting back when Olsen comes close to landing her hooks to the body, most of the American's punches grazing then landing cleanly early on.
It takes a full forty seconds before Daisy gets hit by Elizabeth with a flush punch, a straight lands onto her lips as she got too near the ropes, Liz presses forwards to bash Daisy onto the ropes with a left/right straight followed by a right cross.
Showing her smarts though, Daisy grabs the right arm of Elizabeth with her left, they grind foreheads as they pound abs with their free hand, Daisy landing the harder punches in the exchange, the referee breaks them apart with a warning to Daisy not to hold and hit.
Back in the space she wants though, Daisy is landing more cleanly to the forehead of Elizabeth, keeping her at range better now as she moves around the ring.
In the final thirty seconds of the round, Olsen does catch Daisy with an overhand left to her cheek, an uppercut knocks the head back of Daisy, Liz drives forwards with another quick fire three punch straight combo.
The round comes to a close with Daisy saying "yes" to herself, more happier with the way she controlled the action this round, though Jennifer again warns her not to let her opponent get too close.
Round 3:
Dancing out their corners with a grin on their faces, they seem to be enjoying the test presented to them, that grin disappears when they start off trading stiff jabs to marked up cheeks.
Daisy is being forced to exchange more at midrange, with Elizabeth looking more aggressive this round, the crowd looking some more firefight exchanges between them.
Soon Daisy gets caught with an overhand right to the cheek, a double jab to the body follows as she finds herself being driven into a corner, where Olsen starts teeing off with hooks to the ribs to make the Brit gasp out.
Pushing back Elizabeth to her jugs, Daisy catches her with a left hook as she now fires back, some aggression now shown by Ridley, who piles in a double jab/straight combo into the face of Olsen to send her backwards.
At the center of the ring they start slugging it out, some sweat flies off their heads as mean looking hooks come in, they crash bodies together when they both go for right hooks, grappling at the ring center till they can be broken up.
When the bell rings they taunt each other to bring more, they can't help but grin as they turn back to their corners, knowing they are in a real battle here tonight, a two close to call round a perfect show of that point.
Round 4:
Not much different to start this round, back to midrange they go to trade those picture perfect jabs both have, soon enough both women's bottom lips are covered in claret from a cut.
When Elizabeth tries to catch out Daisy with an overhand left, the Star Wars actress steps to the left and pops a double jab to the side of Liz's face to make her regret the attempt.
A right then smacks Elizabeth on her mouth to make her wince, a left hook to the side of her head opens up Olsen to more punches through her mitts to her face, blood and sweat starting to be knocked off her into the air.
As Daisy has the ring center firmly in her gasp, landing her punches to the body and face of Liz to keep her on the outside, Jennifer really smiling in the Knockout's corner for the first time because she is seeing what she has wanted from the opening bell.
While Daisy looks impressive through the opening two minutes of this round, Olsen is far from completely subdued, as proven when she parries a right to land a jab into the mouth of Ridley.
An overhand right follows to the jaw of Daisy, before she rips in two uppercuts to the body, making Daisy groan out as Liz presses her back across the ring with nasty looking body shots.
The round comes to a close with both women looking hard at each other, then returning to their stools so they can be cleaned up, Jennifer not so worried by what happened at the end of the round, she seems to think Daisy is starting to establish the range where she wants it.
Round 5:
Straight away Daisy is trying to push back Elizabeth to the outside with a double jab that lands on the gloves of her opponent, Olsen ducking a straight punch to come inside with a hard right to the liver area.
Crying out in pain, DAISY IS CLEARLY HURT! Jennifer yelling at her to box defensively till she can recover, ANOTHER RIGHT TO THAT LIVER AREA THOUGH SENDS DAISY TO HER KNEES!
The crowd are stunned by this turn of events, the Olsen fans start cheering as she pumps her right fist into the air, 1...2...3... Daisy leans forwards after spitting her gumshield out, 4...5...6.. She has her forehead pressed into the air and her bottom stuck up in the air, cradling her stomach, 7...8...9...10 that is it! It's over!
Winner Elizabeth Olsen KO Round 5
After:
What a win for Elizabeth Olsen! One mistake from Daisy showed what can happen at this level, she paid the price as Elizabeth is the one jumping up with a beaming smile on her face.
Jogging back to her corner, Elizabeth gets her gloves taken off before she begins high fiving her corner crew, all who tell her how amazing those body punches looked to end the fight.
All the while Daisy is still crippled by those liver shots, Jennifer slowly having to help her get up to a kneeling position, putting an ice pack on her body to numb the pain, Daisy is crying as she was in that much pain.
She is OK enough now to stand up, still holding a glove to her body as she Jennifer tells her "sadly one punch is all it takes for everything to come crumbling down, next time you'll be the one landing that punch, OK kid?" Trying to console Daisy, who nods in reply.
Over comes Olsen to check on Daisy, both laugh when Daisy tells her "god that felt like had a brick in your gloves, can I check them?" Winking at Liz as there appears to be no hard feelings between them after a cracking back and forth battle while it lasted.
Daisy leaves the ring after fist bumping Elizabeth, who tells her she'll come give her a hug when she feels better, making Daisy smile warmly back in return.
The Chicago crowd cheer and applaud Daisy, while she didn't get the win tonight, she won over more fans with her skills, also wearing the local teams jersey helps that cause, they all show their respect to her for a great effort tonight against a tough opponent.
Inside the ring Elizabeth gets her hand raised by the referee to a cheer from her supporters, she blows kisses to them before an interviewer comes into the ring, wanting a few words from the winner tonight.
"First I want to say thank you Chicago for supporting both me and Daisy, along with everyone tonight on this card, I love you and all of us boxers do!" Elizabeth says as the crowd start chanting that they love Elizabeth, who smiles in return at them.
When the noise dies down a little, Elizabeth continues "I want to thank Daisy for coming to fight me, she is a true class act and she gave me a hell of a fight, getting to someone with her range, footwork and that hammer like jab is hard, hopefully my face is still beautiful enough for me to go out and taste some of the famous Chicago pizza" that gets a loud cheer as Elizabeth laughs with the interviewer.
"Daisy I'll give you a rematch anywhere and any time, you are a great fighter but I am going for that bantamweight title and I need all my supporters to drive me on!" Says Elizabeth as she finishes her speech, the crowd all chanting her name as she bows to each side of the ring.
Posing with her arms flexed for the camera with a big smile, Elizabeth looks mighty proud of this win, with her corner team loving this moment judging by their faces.
Leaving the ring tonight, this was a great statement win for Elizabeth as she moves a step closer to becoming a champion, can she continue on forwards towards that goal this time around?
Doutzen Kroes: 35 years old, 5’10”, 20-11 combined since 2012, BBU welterweight champion, Lookout Atlantic Boxing
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: 33 years old, 5’9”, 5-20 combined since 2011, Fates Boxing
Before:
The next fight is a rematch from 2012 and pits Doutzen Kroes against her former Victoria’s Secret Angel partner Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Kroes is the reigning BBU welterweight champion and is only the second to ever hold BBU titles in two weight divisions having previously held the lightweight title. She won the last meeting between the two blonde former angels. Opposing her is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who is making her debut for Fates Boxing. To say that the Brit’s time fighting has been rough would be an understatement – she was two of twenty-two at one point between the FCBA and BBU. However, a trio of wins in celebrity boxing after dark has convinced Fates that she’s somebody worth signing, and here she is. The press conference begins and Rosie wastes no time in going after Doutzen.
“I don’t care that she’s held titles or has beaten me before. I’m a different fighter now. And frankly, there is nothing I’d like more than to beat some Lookout b*tch, since that’s who seems to be the most annoying to us at Fates.” Huntington-Whiteley adamantly says, looking right at Kroes, who merely laughs before responding.
“You’re not on my level, Rosie. You just aren’t. You fought really weak opponents. Anne Hathaway, who hasn’t won in I don’t know how long. Ming Xi, who hasn’t fought a lot and has a losing record. Lindsay Ellingson, another washed-up has-been Angel who can’t fight. And Megan Fox, a strong fighter, but you’re five inches taller and plenty bigger than. It’s clear that Fates didn’t sign you because he thinks you’ll be the next Emily DiDonato. You were signed for s*x appeal.”
“You b*tch!” Rosie screams and charges at Doutzen and the two girls go tumbling onto the ground, clawing and scratching at each other until the security guards pull the two girls off of each other, all the while the two are still screaming obscenities at each other. It won’t be long before they can settle their differences in the ring.
Come fight time, Davis’ voice once again fills the stadium. “Now, for our second fight. From the Netherlands. From Lookout Atlantic Boxing. She is the current reigning, defending BBU welterweight champion – Doutzen Kroes!”
The Dutch champion gets a solid ovation from the crowd as she walks to the ring, removing her orange robe to reveal a matching set of lingerie and black gloves, the BBU belt around her waist.
Hannah gets back on the mic, “And her opponent. From Plymouth, England. Making her debut for Fates Boxing. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley!”
The British model storms out from the back in a pink lingerie set, seemingly to the immense pleasure of the crowd and more than a few wolf whistles. Rosie stares Doutzen down from quite a ways from the ring, and once the younger blonde gets into the ring, she gets right in Kroes’ face. Neither girl yields as the referee inserts himself between the two and quickly gives final instructions before the two start going after each other. The official doesn’t bother asking the two to touch gloves before calling for the bell.
Round 1:
While the two fought each other before, that was eight years ago and both girls open up the fight by cautiously getting out of their respective corners, circling each other as they try to get a sense for where the other fighter is at. Doutzen is slightly taller and bigger and looks to put her strength to use early, charging Rosie, swinging for the slender Brit’s body. Kroes lands a solid punch to Huntington-Whiteley’s ribs and following up with a left at her head that barely slips through her guard and reaches her nose. The Dutch model steps forward and takes a right from the British girl straight to her chin, catching her by surprise as Doutzen stands motionless for a second. The Lookout corner is screaming at Kroes to get back and cover up as RHW fires off a left hook that crashes into Doutzen’s jaw and the Dutch model snaps her guard up. Rosie turns up the tempo, firing off quick punches into Doutzen’s body, knocking the older blonde model into the ropes. Kroes launches a right at Huntington-Whiteley’s head that Rosie merely sidesteps and pounds three big rights into Doutzen’s body, driving the air out of her lungs and forcing a desperation clinch, wrapping her arms tightly around Rosie’s arms and body, the bigger girl holding the slender Brit until the official steps in. After the break, Rosie charges right back after Doutzen, feinting left and going right, skimming a right off of her opponent’s ear, then landing a left to the body and retreating as Kroes whiffs on a response. The bell rings and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley makes a statement in her first round with Fates, winning the round by shutout.
Round 2:
Huntington-Whiteley is quick out of the Fates corner, looking to pick up where the first round left off, feinting right and popping two quick lefts to Kroes’ midriff. Rosie pops back, but Doutzen connects with a right to Rosie’s left breast, knocking the Brit ever so slightly off balance. RHW throws a left at Kroes but it misses by a mere inch and Doutzen lines up two straights that pop Rosie in her mouth, knocking Huntington-Whiteley backwards. Kroes moving forwards and starts to get into a rhythm, using her power to move Huntington-Whiteley around, popping her in the ribs. But the Dutch Angel isn’t able to get her British counterpart into the ropes as Rosie smartly counterpunches Doutzen and is faster than her, able to quickly dart away from the ropes right when Kroes thought she had her cornered. Doutzen fakes left and connects with a heavy right in the third minute, but again just can’t seem to track down Rosie when she wants to and the bell rings. Kroes wins the round on points, but since RHW had plenty of punches back, it’s only close.
Round 3:
The pace settles down for the start of the third round as neither girl charges out of her corner and the two blondes go straight to circling. Doutzen leverages her reach early on, forcing Rosie back with a pair of jabs, one of which slips through Rosie’s guard. Kroes advancing on Huntington-Whiteley and reaches out with another jab, but Rosie slips to her left and hammers a left into the Dutch girl’s face and then a right to her ribs as Kroes drops backwards. RHW shows off her speed as she mercilessly pursues Kroes and picks around the Dutch girl’s guard, picking at her ribs and moving her back into the ropes with each blow. Doutzen throws a counterpunch after Rosie goes body and she catches the Brit in the shoulder, but RHW recovers before Kroes can get her guard back in place and hammers two fast shots into Kroes’ chest. Rosie’s blows knock Doutzen into the ropes, but the bigger Dutch girl wraps the Brit up and gets in a clear shot to the Brit’s midriff as time expires. Both blonde models retreat to their corners, and if there is one thing for certain, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is determined to not be a total pushover.
Round 4:
RHW is faster coming out of her corner than Doutzen is and the Brit controls the first minute, employing a hit and run strategy that seems to leave the Dutch Angel without a response. Huntinton-Whiteley sticking and running, always able to slip in one to two blows and retreating seemingly without consequence. Kroes taking the blows and seemingly right where the Brit wants her as Rosie squares up for an uppercut after splitting the Dutch girl’s guard with a jab – and Rosie’s head snaps backwards as Doutzen lands a rocket of a right straight to the Brit’s mouth, busting her upper lip open. RHW retreats and regroups as Doutzen comes forward and starts to take more initiative, firing off punches and forcing Rosie to be the one who responds. Kroes shows off her power, nearly breaking Huntington-Whiteley’s guard with each blow, but the Brit hangs on and slips in some counters, but by the bell, it’s clear that while the Brit won the round on points, Kroes has an overwhelming power advantage.
Round 5:
The fifth round begins with a flurry of punches, with Rosie again looking to get in some early quick punches, but this time, each shot to Doutzen’s ribs is matched by a blow to the Brit’s as the Dutch model starts to thump the Brit’s body. RHW drops back as she looks for a reset, Kroes doesn’t follow, and the girls reset. Kroes steps forward and Huntington-Whiteley fires off a straight right at Kroes’ head but the Dutch girl ducks the blow and lands a big right hook to Rosie’s jaw and the Brit’s legs wobble! RWH’s guard opens up and Kroes takes two big body shots before slamming three straight blows through Rosie’s guard, reopening her upper lip, and Rosie is teetering when Doutzen finds an uppercut to the Brit’s chin and down goes Rosie! Huntington-Whiteley rolls around on the canvas, working her way onto her knees at six. By eight, she’s up on one knee and one foot and pushes herself up at nine and tells the ref she’s good to go before he can even ask her. The fight continues with Doutzen coming back at Rosie and the Brit doing her best to not take any more big blows, always keeping her distance and jabbing to ward Kroes off until the bell. The judges barely spend any time deliberating as it’s obvious Kroes wins the round on points, wide, as she swung the momentum of the fight into her favor, and the Fates corner has to figure out how to deal with the Dutch girl’s power unless they want Huntington-Whiteley to lose her debut with the stable.
Round 6:
Doutzen Kroes is the one who comes out of her corner full of energy as she’s looking to finish what she was nearly able to do the previous round and opens up with a barrage of punches, steadily working Rosie Huntington-Whiteley into the corner. Kroes fakes high before she smacks two punches into RHW’s chest. Rosie squirms as Kroes’ blows squish her breasts and Doutzen connects with a body shot for good measure. Rosie has to wrap Doutzen up and the ref has to break up the clinch. Out of the break, Doutzen continues throwing out big punches, slowly working Rosie back into the corner again until Rosie quickly drops back, plants her feet, and catches Doutzen in her jaw, momentarily stunning the Dutch model. Huntington-Whiteley pops a quick left into her blonde opponent’s mouth and then drives two quick rights into Kroes’ toned midriff and Kroes yells out in pain. RHW comes back with a right to Kroes’ ribs and forces her backwards and Rosie’s ready to go to town – and the bell rings! Kroes may have been saved by the bell and while she won the round on points thanks to her early advantage, but she is hurting and now the question is whether or not Rosie can capitalize.
Round 7:
Kroes wincing as she gets out of her corner and Huntington-Whiteley sees that her opponent is struggling. Rosie darts across the ring, slips out of the way of a right from Doutzen, and skips a right off of the Lookout fighter’s body. Kroes retreats, shielding her tender solar plexus, and Huntington-Whiteley starts to turn the screws. The British beauty relentlessly goes after Doutzen, pounding around the Dutch model’s guard, hitting every inch of legal flesh that she can. Kroes fires off a right at Huntington-Whiteley’s mouth, again re-opening her lip and buying the Dutch girl a brief respite. Rosie backs off and Doutzen looks to go forward, leading with a left that Rosie slips under and Rosie finds Doutzen’s weak spot and Kroes groans in agony as she bends over. Huntington-Whiteley smacks Kroes’ jaw with a left and a right and Doutzen straightens up a bit and pulls her guard up and the Brit notices. Rosie fakes a left to Doutzen’s head and slams one, two, three punches to Doutzen’s solar plexus and the Dutch model crumples to the ground in a heap and the crow goes silent! Rosie scores a knockdown on the bigger Doutzen and yells “Stay down!” at the fallen girl. Stunned expressions in the Lookout corner as Huntington-Whiteley steps over Kroes on her way to the corner and the ref is counting over the fallen Dutch model. Doutzen clutches her body as she tries to find the strength to get up, but she can’t beat the ten count and your winner by KO7 IN UPSET FASHION, ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY!
After:
The crowd erupts into chants of “Rosie! Rosie! Rosie!” as the British model raises her gloves and the Lookout corner has a stunned look on their faces.
“I told you I’d knock that f*cking b*tch out!” Rosie screams as she turns around to face her fallen blonde opponent. Emily VanCamp starts to climb into the ring but one look for Rosie sends the Lookout fighter back out of the ring.
Huntington-Whiteley pulls Kroes off of her side and onto her back, at which point the Brit stares down at the fallen Dutch model and plants her foot on the fallen model’s chest and poses for the cameras, then sneers down at Doutzen before telling her, “Take this as a warning for those who underestimate me.” And with that, Rosie struts out of the ring, drawing a few whistles as she heads over to her interview.
“Well, Rosie,” Davis begins, “people were pegging you to easily lose this one. What do you want to tell them?”
“I’m sick and tired of people thinking I’m a joke.” Rosie responds, “I hope that what I did to Doutzen serves as a message for those who doubt me.” And the Brit storms off, just like that, announcing her arrival to Fates in what has to be the biggest upset of the night.
Iggy Azalea: 29 years old, 5’10,” 8-9 since 2016, Free Agent
Before:
“Well, I know who my opponent is, but I’m not saying because of the way the contract is structured.” Azalea announces to the press. “Let me just say I’m not impressed. The Spring Fling has apparently become the British Invasion, judging by all the Brits on the card. Hopefully I get it through Fates’ skull that she is not who he should have gotten as a welterweight.”
The Aussie singer turns and leaves the press, leaving them to wonder who the mystery welterweight is.
Come time for the fight, the crowd has already seen four matches, but the excitement for the welterweight reveal is keeping them buzzing.
“And now, for the fifth match.” Davis exclaims, her announcements getting a tad repetitive, “From Sydney, Australia. With a record of 8 wins and 9 losses since 2016. Iggy Azalea!”
Iggy makes her way to the ring and takes off her robe to reveal a black sports bra with white trunks and white gloves and her hair up in a bun for the fight. She strides around the ring impatiently, waiting for her opponent to make her way out.
“And her opponent. From Invernes, Scotland, the United Kingdom. With a combined record of 7 wins and 9 losses between the FCBA and BBU.” The main riff from “Welcome to the Jungle” begins to play, “Signed from Lookout Atlantic and the newest member of Fates Boxing, Karen Gillan!”
The redhead steps out into the light as the guitar riff reaches its peak and the Avenger is accompanied by two of her stablemates and fellow Avenger cast members – Elizabeth Olsen and Brie Larson. Gillan smiles and waves to the crowd as she makes her way to the ring, flanked by Larson and Olsen. Gillan steps into the ring, swinging her long legs over the ropes, and takes off her robe to reveal her toned body in a maroon sports bra with the Fates logo on it and matching trunks with black gloves. Azalea’s yelling at the official to just get the fight underway and be brings the two girls in. Karen holds out her gloves for Iggy to bump, but the Aussie just tells her, “Protect your face, b*tch.”
Karen rolls her eyes and follows the ref’s instructions before the bell rings and off we go with welterweight action!
Round 1:
The crowd is still buzzing with the reveal of Fates’ new welterweight and Karen Gillan gets out of the Fates corner with grace, her tall frame seemingly gliding on her long legs. Iggy Azalea meets her in the middle of the ring, and it’s a clash of styles right from the start. Gillan moving quickly and keeping up the tempo as she jabs from range to slowly wear her opponent down while Azalea hunts for the big counter, and she finds it early on a lunge from the redheaded Brit as Gillan jumps out to land a third straight punch and misses. Iggy barely has to adjust her body position as she absolutely creams Karen in her head, snapping the actress’ head backwards and then driving a right into Karen’s toned midriff. Gillan lets out a muffled grunt as she absorbs the blow as Azalea keeps close to her opponent, working around the redhead’s guard, tagging her ribs and body, knocking her backwards. Karen’s back bumps up against the ropes and that causes the Brit to flip the switch as she jabs out from her guard, catching Iggy in her mouth and forcing the Aussie to back off. The girls work their way back to the center of the ring as the bell rings. Both girls return to their corners, with Gillan getting advice from Larson and Olsen without delay, as Iggy Azalea wins the judges for the first round, wide.
Round 2:
The Australian singer comes out strong to start the second, evading a right from Gillan and finding the actress’ ribs with a left. Karen responds with a left of her own, but Iggy again dodges the blow and finds the redhead’s body and follows up with a quick left to Gillan’s mouth, and Azalea is well on her way to ruining Gillan’s debut with Fates! The singer quickly works the actress into the ropes as the latter covers up. Azalea pounds rights and lefts into Gillan’s body for a few seconds, then shifts her focus to breaking down Gillan’s guard, and the redhead strikes immediately. Karen lets loose two quick jabs that catch Iggy in her mouth by surprise, giving Gillan an opportunity to get out of the ropes. The redhead slips out to her left, then sticks Azalea with another two quick jabs and now the Aussie is in full retreat. Karen confidently moving forwards, forcing Iggy to keep her guard up as Karen picks around her guard, going after body, but not able to land any massive blows before the bell. Azalea had control for the first minute, but Gillan’s comeback got her to squeak out ahead in the round on points, close.
Round 3:
Gillan getting more confident to start the third, going straight after Azalea and trying to corner her with quick jabs. Karen slowly works Iggy around the ring, but never into the ropes. Towards the end of the first minute, Azalea drops back and plants her feet as Gillan steps in and Azalea rocks her with a right hook! The Aussie catches the Scottish actress in her jaw and stuns the redhead with a blank look on her face! Olsen and Larson are screaming at Gillan to cover up as Iggy sends a straight left into her mouth and sending her backwards. Karen comes back to her senses and throws up her guard. Gillan takes a trio of big blows to her guard as Azalea clearly just wants to knock the front door down, and although she can’t break down the actress’ protection, she does knock her into the ropes, and once there, Azalea shifts her focus to the actress’ body. Azalea churns out a trio of hard body shots as the bell dings to end the round, and once again, the Aussie wins a round on points, wide, and proudly returns to her corner, while Gillan hangs her head a bit as she just hasn’t been able to really get into the fight.
Round 4:
It’s Azalea right from the get-go as she easily dodges a Gillan jab and starts working from close range, going to Karen’s body. Iggy plugs a vicious right into the lanky redhead’s midriff that draws a groan out of Karen and the redhead again is on her back foot. Azalea chases Gillan around the ring and quickly coerces her into the ropes again and absolutely unloads on her opponent, absolutely pounding Gillan’s thin and toned frame. Karen looks for the counter but just can’t land it and she practically throws herself onto Iggy, who desperately tries to shake her off until the ref separates the two girls. Out of the break, Gillan plays keep-away from Azalea, landing a three sets of one-off jabs, one for each time Azalea closes distance – but on the third charge, Gillan’s defense doesn’t dissuade Azalea and the blonde lands a thumping blow to Karen’s tummy before the bell. It’s another round wide to Azalea, and the Fates corner has to be wondering how Gillan can pull out a win in her debut for the stable.
Round 5:
Between the fourth and the fifth, Olsen and Larson essentially tell Gillan that she’ll either have to pick it up or lose as Azalea shoots out of her corner, a vicious look in her eyes as she knows she’s on the verge of spoiling Gillan’s debut for Fates. Iggy comes out of her corner swinging, feinting left and going right to get Gillan’s chin, but after that blow, she only bashes Karen’s guard. Azalea shifts to her right and Gillan lashes out with an absolute rocket of a right that hits Iggy in her nose and draws blood. Azalea stands with a blank look on her face as a trickle of blood drips onto her sports bra. Karen seems to take ages to place her next punch, but it’s an absolute beauty that connects with Iggy’s 1jaw and sends her careening into the ropes where Karen starts churning out rapid fire lefts and rights, pounding Iggy’s guard and every inch of legal flesh. Each punch to Azalea’s body pummels the air out of the Aussie’s lungs and the singer just wraps up Karen and practically tries throwing the thinner girl off of her. The ref gives her the finger wag, but if Gillan’s follow-up was any indication, the redhead didn’t lose a step, sidestepping a right and lining up a one-two jab combo to Azalea’s chin and wobbles the singer! Karen steps forwards and – the bell rings and saves Iggy. Gillan exhales and turns her back on Azalea, knowing that she won the round easily – and the judges determine it was by a shutout. Gillan showing a semblance of life – the question is whether or not she can keep it up or will Azalea come back?
Round 6:
Both sweat drenched fighters step out of their respective corners to start the sixth, but the momentum swing is apparent – Azalea cautiously advances while Gillan starts firing off jabs at her opponent. Iggy takes two blows into her gloves before striking back at Karen, landing a right to the Brit’s nose with a left. Gillan takes a step backwards as Azalea’s punch lands and the Aussie steps up and throws a big right punch, but Gillan steps out of the way with ease and uncorks a massive right into Azalea’s jaw and the Aussie is wobbly! Azalea dropping backwards as Gillan quickly closes the distance between herself and the singer with her long legs and absolutely smashes a left between Iggy’s gloves and Azalea’s arms flare out and Karen follows up with a right hook and nails Azalea right in her jawline and the Aussie goes down in a heap! Karen turns her back and heads to the corner as the ref starts counting over Iggy. The Aussie’s eyes flutter as she moves her arms around on the canvas, but the ref’s count keeps on going without Azalea getting up before he reaches ten! Your winner by KO6, the newest member of Fates Boxing, Karen Gillan!
After:
Gillan breaks out a wide smile as she celebrates her victory, raising her arms into the air as she’s greeted by Olsen and Larson while medics rush to Azalea. The Scottish actress parades around the ring, being sure to pose on the ringposts, before checking in on Azalea, who merely bumps fists with Gillan before the redhead heads over to Hannah Davis for her interview.
“What a way to make a debut for a new stable!” Davis exclaims, “Tell us about the past 48 hours.”
“Sure,” a somewhat breathless, but excited Gillan starts, “There was some back and forth for the past several days, and on Wednesday, the transfer was signed. I’m really thankful for my time with Lookout in the BBU and FCBA, and am looking forward to taking what I’ve learned so far and building upon it. Fates reached out and asked me if I wanted to make my stable debut on this card, which I was jumping at the bit for, and so he found Iggy Azalea to be open to the idea and well, here we are!”
“Sounds like a whirlwind for sure!” Hannah responds, “Now, we have to ask – who’s going to be the better redhead of the stable – you or Kat McNamara?”
Gillan laughs, “Well, I know us redheads are an uncommon group to say the least. I will also say that Kat dyes her hair, so I think I’m the only true redhead.”
Davis and the crowd laughs. “Okay then, who’s the better Brit since we have a British invasion going on – you or Rosie?”
Karen smiles, “Well, I have the better accent, I think,” again eliciting a chuckle from Hannah.
“Okay, back to actual stuff. What are your aspirations while you’re at Fates?” Davis asks.
“I think the big thing is just getting better. Fates is loaded with girls who are just amazing, and while I’d love to be at Emily’s or Taylor’s level, I’m just looking forward to getting into the ring more.” Karen pauses, taking a big breath of air as she’s still breathing heavily, “You know, I went over two years without a fight. The moment I got back in the ring I knew I wanted to keep my fighting frequency up, and I’m looking forward to doing that at Fates.”
“Well, welcome to the stable, and congrats on your win!” Hannah ends the interview and Karen heads to the back, smiling and waving at the crowd.
Blake Lively: 32 years old, 5’10,” 26-31 since 2008, Chimera
Taylor Hill: 24 years old, 5’10 ½,” 18-3 since 2017, Front Street Boxing
Before:
The press conference picks up energy as the two fighters make their way into the room for a fight that has so many storylines woven through it despite the fact that neither girl has faced each other before. Blake Lively, a blonde representing the old guard of the FCBA that burst onto the scene at the start of the previous decade. And opposing her is Taylor Hill, a brunette representing a new generation of fighters.
Hill is the first one to speak at the conference, “Well, it’s an honor to fight Blake tonight. She’s put together an amazing career that I looked at when I was younger. I hope to give her a good fight tonight.”
Lively smiles, “Well, I have to thank Taylor for those comments. It means a lot coming from an up and coming superstar, who I know is going to win the title. And beat Taylor Swift, but that’s another conversation.” Lively’s expression shifts, “But I’m not going to roll over for the new generation of fighters. Because I still have fight left in me. May the better woman win.”
Lively exits, having laid down the gauntlet – a battle between the old and the new of the FCBA. One not wanting to yield its grip on the association, the other trying to make a name for itself.
Come time for the fight, the crowd still has plenty of energy for the penultimate bout.
“And now, for our guest fight.” Hannah Davis announces to the stadium. “First – from Tarzana, California. With a record of 26 wins and 31 losses since 2008. She is a former FCBA lightweight champion. Representing Chimera, Blake Lively!”
The blonde actress struts out to the ring as the crowd cheers as she makes her way to the ring, accompanied by Charlize Theron. Blake removes her robe to reveal her toned body in a Theron inspired green bikini with black gloves.
“And her opponent,” Davis starts again. “From Palatine, Illinois.” The crowd cheers wildly as the suburb is announced. “With a record of 18 wins and 3 losses since 2017. Representing Front Street Boxing, Taylor Hill!”
The young model steps out to a roaring ovation from the crowd and confidently makes her way to the ring, seemingly blocking out the tens of thousands of roaring fans. Hill steps into the ring between the second and third ropes and removes her robe to reveal a blue and white sports bra and matching trunks with the stars of the Chicago flag. The crowd cheers even louder as Hill pays her respects to the city with her outfit. Hill meets Lively in the center of the ring and the two women touch gloves before returning to their corners and off we go.
Round 1:
It’s not often that Blake Lively is the smaller fighter, but she is against Taylor Hill. But that doesn’t stop the blonde former champ from going right after her younger opponent, opening with two solid punches to Hill’s body. Taylor sticks a counterpunch and retreats as she looks to reset the round. The blonde actress and brunette model circle each other, with Taylor probing Blake’s guard with her right jab and Blake counters with a solid right to the younger girl’s chin. Taylor again backs off as Blake follows her around the ring, trying to stick the model with more blows. Hill, despite her youth, has plenty of experience against good opponents and weathers the storm, keeping her guard strong and countering when Lively exposes herself, hammering a punch to Lively’s ribs, but the blonde actress comes right back at Hill and the brunette girl shifts her strategy to not take too many blows until the bell rings. Lively coming out strong with a surprising first round, winning it on points, wide.
Round 2:
Hill getting plenty of advice from her corner and starts off the second round by matching Lively’s pace. The first minute consists of back and forth blows, each girl taking turns going after the other. Taylor catches Blake with a right early on to her cheek and the blonde recoils, clearly feeling the sting from the blow. Hill bops left and right before going back to a straight going for Lively’s face again, but the blonde sees it coming and blocks it with her gloves before tapping one, two, three quick shots to Hill’s right side. Taylor drops back and Blake moves forwards and takes a big body shot as Hill plants her feet and drives a right into Blake’s ribs and then finds her follow-up on the actress’ face from earlier. The blonde quickly backpedals as the brunette starts getting her long-range game going, thumping Blake’s guard and keeping the blonde going backwards. The bell rings and Taylor Hill ties it all up, winning the round on points, wide.
Round 3:
Both girls starting to get into a rhythm now as they dance for the third round. Lively looks, well, lively as she gracefully moves around the ring thanks to her long legs and feints to get Taylor to move her guard ever so slightly so as to expose her body. Taylor for her part is trying to counter, but Blake has fought twice as many fights as the brunette model and it’s beginning to show. Lively seems to know each response Hill wants to make even before Taylor knows it, and Blake starts picking spots to punish on Taylor’s body, focusing on her left ribs. Hill not letting Lively dish out the punishment for free, landing two blows to Blake’s chin, forcing her backwards. Lively plants her feet, fakes a right, then gets Hill with a left to her chin and Hill recoils and goes for the clinch. Taylor wraps up Blake and the referee has to step in to break the two girls apart. The bell rings and Blake comes out ahead to retake the lead, and we’ve got a close fight between the two guest fighters.
Round 4:
The fourth round continues with the general theme of the third, with Blake fighting smartly and keeping Taylor on her back foot. Lively smoothly darting in and out, unleashing a couple quick blows to Hill’s body before backing off, and Taylor’s beginning to wince with each shot. The blonde actress floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee and she bodies the brunette model up. Hill backs off and Lively steps up to work the younger girl into the ropes only to get smoked by a left from Hill! Taylor stuns Blake with her left and hammers a right into Blake’s tummy and the blonde is hurting! Lively’s covering up as on comes Hill and the complexion of the match changed in a moment. Taylor works Blake into the ropes with lefts and rights to the blonde’s body and she keeps the actress there until Blake clinches with Taylor and the ref separates the fighters. Lively keeps her distance from Hill for the waning seconds of the round and at the end of the round, the judges deem that Taylor did enough in the back half to win the round. But the bigger concern is what kind of condition Blake Lively is in.
Round 5:
Taylor gets out of her corner quickly and wastes no time in going after Blake’s body and it’s all the blonde can do to limit the damage with her guard. Hill crashing rights and lefts into Lively’s ribs, wearing the blonde down and into the ropes. Blake bounces off the ropes and finds a cheeky right to Taylor’s ear, but Hill slams a left into Lively’s cheek, catching the blonde by surprise. Blake pulls up her guard just enough for Taylor to pop Blake’s midriff and Blake gasps in pain as she takes the blow and her guard opens. Hill seemingly picks her moment and lines up a straight that rocks Lively and an uppercut that drops her! Taylor goes to a neutral corner as Blake shakes her head on the ground. Blake makes it to all fours at six, and forces herself up at eight, her face red. The ref checks in on her and Blake tells him she can continue, and the ref lets the fighting continue. Hill goes straight after Lively again and Blake shoots out a right that misses Taylor by a hair and Hill fires a left into Blake’s left cheek, just below her eye, and opens the actress up! Lively disoriented as Hill nails the actress with a right to the nose and sends her careening into the ropes where she covers up and Hill wails away on her and the ref has seen enough! He gets Hill off of Lively and calls the fight as Blake sinks down in the ropes, blood coming down her cheek. Your winner by a brutal TKO5, Taylor Hill!
After:
Hill raises her arms in triumph as Charlize Theron tends to Lively, sitting her down on a stool. Taylor goes over to check in on the actress, and the two hug before Hill exits the ring to her interview with Hannah Davis.
“Congrats on your win, Taylor!” Davis exclaims, “What are your thoughts?”
“Well,” Hill begins, pausing, “As I said earlier, I really enjoyed watching Blake in the FCBA when I was younger, and it’s a dream come true to fight her.”
Davis nods, “And what do you have to say to those who still think you’re just a bit too new and inexperienced and can’t quite hang with the upper tier yet?”
“Well, I hope I showed them that I can hang with those quality fighters tonight.” Taylor responds, “I can tell you this – it won’t be the last time I show that I belong with the best.”
“We look forward to seeing you fighting in the future. And once again, congrats on the win tonight!” Davis once again congratulates the young model as she waves again to the crowd and heads to the back.
Emily DiDonato versus Kendall Jenner – FCBA Lightweight Title Fight
Kendall Jenner: 24 years old, 5’10 ½,” 42-13 since 2016, Girls Friday
Emily DiDonato: 29 years old, 5’10,” 20-7 since 2017, Fates Boxing, FCBA Lightweight Champion
Before:
“I don’t care that she’s the lightweight champion,” Kendall tells the press, “I’ve beaten Taylor more times than she has and have been so close to getting that title back on multiple occasions. It’s about time somebody ends the reign of the Fates lightweights – I’m sick of them holding the title. And Emily didn’t even deserve that title shot – she lost to Courtney Tailor of all people in January.”
“Whether you like it or not, I’m the champ. Deal with it.” Emily retorts. “But I have to tell you, I have no intention of losing my title to you tonight.”
The two brunettes stare at each other before heading their separate ways until the fight.
Soldier Field gets louder than it had for the previous six fights as Hannah Davis hops onto the microphone for the final fight and for the right for one of these brunette beauties to call herself the FCBA Lightweight Champion.
“And the main event. For the FCBA Lightweight Title. From Los Angeles, California. Standing at 5’10 1/2,” and boasting a record of 42 wins and 13 losses since 2016. She is a former lightweight champion and is the challenger, Kendall Jenner!”
The crowd positively erupts in cheers as the challenger makes her way to the ring where she takes off her robe to reveal her model physique in a simple black sports bra and matching trunks with red gloves. As the crowd noise dies down, Jenner gets herself settled in the ring.
“And her opponent. From Goshen, New York. Standing at 5’10,” with a record of 20 wins and 7 losses since 2017. She is the current FCBA Lightweight Champion, the Goshen Goddess, Emily DiDonato!”
The champ steps out to a thunderous welcome as she makes her way to the ring, a fiery look blazing in her eyes. The champ’s elected for a deep blue bikini set with matching gloves for the event, clearly not afraid to show off her model body. DiDonato takes off the belt and raises it to the sky and the crowd gets even louder. The champ hands poses with the title on the ringpost before handing it off. Jenner gets right into DiDo’s face and the two girls stare coolly at each other as the referee gives final instructions before calling for the bell.
Round 1:
Both tall brunette models get right out of their corners and start circling in the middle of the ring, both women putting their long legs to use, covering the ground effortlessly. Kendall strikes up the offensive tone early, jabbing at Emily’s head with quicker, more powerful punches than Emily is used to, knocking the older girl backwards. There’s a reason Kendall’s an elite fighter – but Emily’s no slouch either and the Sports Illustrated model feints with a hard right and catches Kendall in the ribs. Jenner responds with a right of her own, but the punch barely glances off of DiDonato’s ribs as Emily slips to her right and sticks Kendall right in her mouth. The leggy Kendall retreats, but DiDonato uses her own long legs to stay close to her opponent and launches a straight left that gets Jenner into the ropes. The crowd grows louder as Emily buries two punches right into Kendall’s body, but Jenner comes back with a lightning fast straight out of her guard that forces Emily to back off before Kendall can land another punch. Jenner feints coming out of the ropes but DiDonato predicts it and catches the follow-up before snapping a quick straight of her own into Kendall’s face as the bell rings. An action packed first round goes the way of the champ, Emily DiDonato, on points, wide.
Round 2:
DiDonato and Jenner start with the same intensity as the first round, with Kendall trying to push the tempo. The younger Jenner sticks with straight rights and lefts, but DiDonato counters, tagging Kendall twice with a right that knocks her backwards. Kendall drops back and regroups as Emily advances, guard up, jabs out – and her head snaps backwards as Jenner smokes DiDo with a right and the champ is stunned! Kendall pounces, digging two punches into Emily’s body and the Sports Illustrated model’s guard opens involuntarily as she gasps out. Jenner snaps DiDonato’s head with an uppercut and follows up with a left hook AND DOWN GOES THE CHAMP! It’s an early knockdown for Kendall as Emily’s on the canvas, shaking her head all while the Fates corner screams at her to get up. The ref is already at a count of six as Emily is on all fours, and she manages to push herself up at nine. Jenner staring the champ down as she stands up. The ref checks in on Emily, determines she can continue, and the round resumes. The final minute consists of Kendall firing off jabs while chasing Emily around the ring, but she can’t land anything solid as Emily’s guard does its job and limits the damage. The bell rings and DiDonato is already looking like she’s been through seven rounds. Kendall Jenner wins the second wide, thanks to her knockdown.
Round 3:
Emily nodding her head a lot in her corner as she gets instruction. Kendall meanwhile gets a straightforward talk from lightweight coach Gisele Bundchen – keep doing what you’re doing and you take the title. Both girls rise from their stools and make their way out to the center of the ring where Jenner immediately goes back to the jab, firing off quick, yet powerful punches into DiDo’s guard, with one slipping around the other model’s guard and into DiDo’s chin. The champ steps back but stands strong as Kendall comes in with a one-two combo with the first strike getting Emily’s guard and the follow-up going to her body. Kendall’s bodyshot leaves her head open and Emily fires off a quick two punches straight to the younger brunette’s face, smacking her backwards and forcing her to back off. The two girls glare each other down as the next minute is filled with feinting as both girls look to gain the upper hand. DiDonato may have a marginally shorter range, but she finds a good shot to Jenner’s chin and a short punch to the ribs that makes Kendall wince, but the challenger comes back with a right. The two brunette girls stare each other down and start closing distance as the bell rings. They go back to their respective corners for attention and the judges deliberate, determining that by the slimmest of margins, Emily won the round on points, close.
Round 4:
Both brunette girls seeming to get a sense for the other as the fourth round begins. Emily keeps her guard up, waiting for an opportunity to land big blows. Kendall going back to the jab that got her so far in the FCBA, going right for Emily’s head and splitting her guard on her second jab. DiDonato takes the blow and comes back with a left punch to Kendall’s ribs and the girls are in close. DiDonato seems cramped in the close confines while Kendall wastes no time firing off short blows into the brunette’s torso, steadily knocking her backwards. showing off why she’s been one of the elite lightweights for as long as she has as she effortlessly changes tactics and works Emily into the ropes. DiDonato bounces off the ropes but gets snookered by a right form Jenner as the challenger forces the champ back into the ropes and digs two rights into her torso as Emily gasps as she wraps up Kendall. The ref breaks the two apart and out of the break, and once the action resumes, Kendall keeps up the pace, but this time going back to the ranged game. Emily manages a pair of obvious shots to Kendall’s ribs as the brunette winces with the blows, but the bell rings before the champ can capitalize. The fourth round unquestionably belonged to Jenner, and now both girls have taken a round apiece.
Round 5:
Jenner once again comes out of her corner and starts off with her jabs, but DiDonato quickly steps back, causing Jenner to lunge. Kendall pulls up her left to block but Emily smashes a right hook into Kendall’s jaw and the younger girl’s wobbly! Kendall drops backwards but Emily hammers a straight left through Kendall’s guard and follows up with a right to Kendall’s chin and down goes the challenger! Jenner drops into her butt and stares at DiDonato for with a blank face for a second as DiDo gets to the corner. Jenner shaking her head as she puts her arms down to push herself up, getting back to her feet at a count of seven. The referee doesn’t even have the chance to check in on Jenner before she tells him she’s good, and the round continues. Out of the break, Emily looks for the finishing blow, winding up for huge rights and lefts, targeting Kendall’s body as she protects her head. DiDo shifts tactics after a solid body punching spree and goes after Jenner’s guard. Kendall takes the first two blows and then strikes back, launching out with a right that gets Emily in the chin. DiDo drops back and Kendall sneaks in another blow before the bell. Jenner may have put up a strong closing argument, but takes the round thanks to her early knockdown of her foe, and wins the round on points, wide.
Round 6:
The pace drops slightly as the fight enters the back half and Kendall forces Emily to circle, thanks to her jabs that keep the SI model at a distance. Both girls circling clockwise as Jenner picks around DiDonato’s guard, landing two blows in quick succession that knock DiDonato backwards. Kendall steps up and slips a right into Emily’s body under her guard and the younger brunette looks to follow up with a right, but it crashes into Emily’s guard. DiDonato responds with a left into Jenner’s ribs, putting a scowl on her face. DiDonato slips in a right follow up to Jenner’s body, slowly working her back to the center of the ring. Kendall plants her feet and fires off a straight right that splits Emily’s guard and hits her in the mouth, drawing a trickle of blood. DiDo firms her guard up and Jenner’s second straight bounces off of her opponent’s guard. DiDonato backs off and Jenner chases her for the final seconds before the bell. Jenner comes back from getting knocked down and wins the round on points, close.
Round 7:
Jenner moving more quickly out of her corner and she goes right after Emily, ducking and dodging the champ’s blows and nailing two blows right into Emily’s chest. DiDonato comes back with a right to Jenner’s chin, but Kendall comes back with a right of her own that absolutely snaps Emily’s head backwards and sends the champ careening into the ropes. Emily hits another right as Kendall closes in on her, but it merely seems to enrage Kendall as her eyes get big and she hammers Emily in the body with a big right. DiDo gasps as Jenner’s blow connects with her midriff, and Kendall knocks a big right into Emily’s jaw. DiDonato wraps her left arm around Jenner but can’t clinch with her right as Kendall hammers away with her own left. Emily brings back her right hits Kendall with a hammer blow, moving her backwards and creating separation between the two models. DiDonato follows up with a quick right-left combo that knocks Jenner back, but Kendall merely resets and unleashes another right jab and this one gets Emily in the chin and she’s wobbly! Kendall driving forwards and THE BELL RINGS! Jenner’s face falls for a second as she stares down a vulnerable DiDonato, smirks, then heads back to her corner. Jenner has been on another level since the knockdown in the fifth, and obviously won the round, and she is knocking on the door of being champion again.
Round 8:
Emily sluggish coming out of her corner, her feet dragging a bit – but Kendall has a fire in her eyes and bounds out of her corner, seemingly getting more energy as Emily weakens. DiDonato keeps her guard up, but Jenner splits DiDo’s gloves with ease during the first minute, popping her in the mouth. Emily drops backwards and Kendall follows yet again, firing off lefts and rights at the champ. DiDonato keeps her guard up and starts blocking Jenner’s blows before she launches a counterpunch of her own as Kendall darts forwards, landing square in Kendall’s chin and stopping Kendall in her tracks! Jenner’s eyes go wide and pauses for a brief moment, and that’s all Emily needs to drive a left into Kendall’s jaw and now it’s Jenner who’s backing off! DiDo steps forward, shifts right, and digs a trio of punches into Jenner’s ribs. Kendall backs off again, but this time, she sets her feet and smacks Emily with a left punch as the champion advances, knocking her backwards and the girls start to circle as the round ends. Emily may have started putting together a comeback, but Jenner wins the round close, and DiDonato needs to dig deep if she wants to win now.
Round 9:
Kendall’s eyes have a special fire in them as she’s in her corner – she knows that she’s knocking on the door of another title reign, and she charges right at Emily to start the round. Jenner fakes a body shot then fires off a right, but DiDonato bobs her head out of the way to avoid the blow and connects with a right of her own to Kendall’s right cheek and the younger girl is stunned! Kendall with a blank look on her face as Emily bashes a left into her chin, sending the challenger stumbling backwards. Jenner pulls her guard up just in time to block a right from DiDonato and looks to shift the tide of the round with a right jab that catches Emily’s mouth, drawing a trickle of blood from her upper lip. DiDo takes a half-step backwards and plants her feet just in time to evade a right from Jenner and clocks Kendall with a right hook to the jaw and knocks the challenger into the ropes! Emily goes right for Kendall’s body as the slimmer brunette model covers up her head. DiDo unloads lefts and rights with near-reckless abandon, and Jenner winces as she struggles to wrap the champ up until she practically lunges onto DiDonato as the bell rings. The girls glare at each other as the ref gets between them, sending them to their respective corners for the final round. DiDonato wins the ninth by shutout, but with Jenner still standing, the champ is going to have to go for broke in the tenth.
Round 10:
DiDonato and Jenner draw on their last reserves of strength, their faces showing the toll of the previous nine rounds as they get out of their corners. From the get-go, Kendall is on the defensive, knowing that Emily will have to be the one pushing hard to win, and the SI model charges forwards, firing off punches left and right and battering Jenner’s guard. Kendall takes a big step backwards to get some space and as soon as Emily steps forward, she shoots out a right that Emily barely blocks in time. Jenner may well hold the lead, but she doesn’t want to hang back and just let DiDonato launch punches all day. Kendall sidesteps to her right, uncorks a punch to Emily’s ribs, steps right again, and BAM! DiDonato snaps Jenner’s head backwards with a right off the predicted move, and the champ thumps Kendall’s body with two big punches that make the challenger squirm as a follow up. Jenner retreats backwards as DiDo chases after her, knowing that time is of the essence. Kendall sets up her guard as Emily feints with her left to Jenner’s head and hits Jenner in her ribs with a right and Kendall shouts in agony! DiDonato smashes a hard straight left through Kendall’s guard. Jenner’s arms flare out as DiDonato’s blow forces them apart and Emily follows up with one, two, three big straight rights to Kendall’s face AND DOWN GOES JENNER! Emily moves to the corner as the ref starts to count over a dazed Kendall. One. Two. Alessandra Ambrosio is screaming at Kendall to get up. Jenner picks her head off the mat and shakes it at three. The crowd growing louder, half cheering for Kendall to get up, the other half for her to stay down. The ref counts out four. Five. Kendall makes her way to her hands and knees, crawling a couple inches forward to reach out for the ropes. At six, Jenner starts reaching out for the ropes, but she’s just short. She leans forwards – and smacks the canvas face-first as the ref counts seven! Kendall rolls onto her back but she’s trying to will herself onto her belly. Eight. Nine. Jenner gathering all of her strength as she gets back up to all fours. Ten! Jenner can’t beat the count and your winner by KO10 AND STILL LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION, EMILY DIDONATO!
After:
Emily celebrates her come from behind victory as the question continues to be: who will end the lightweight title reign of the Fates fighters? DiDonato’s win means she’ll be defending her title two weeks from today against Alexis Ren, and while there hasn’t been much word out of the VIX camp about it, it doesn’t take a genius to guess that they were probably watching the match and watched plenty of tape on both girls before tonight so they could talk over strategy with Alexis tomorrow.
DiDonato gets her title back and hoists it up into the air, waving to the crowd before going over to check on Jenner. The two exchange a couple of words before Emily goes over to Hannah Davis for the final interview.
“Talk about a come-from-behind victory, Emily! How does it feel to beat Kendall?” Hannah asks.
“Well, I think everyone thought I was the underdog heading into the fight tonight.” Emily pants, “Kendall had me for a long time. But I won, and I’m not going to complain about that.” DiDonato smiles.
“Well, we know your next opponent is going to be Alexis Ren. How do you feel about that match?” Davis prods the champ.
“Hey, Alexis is a great fighter, and I’m looking forward to facing her at the end of the month.” Emily responds.
“Well, once again, congrats on the win, and that’s a wrap from us here tonight from the Fates Spring Fling! A special thank you to Chimera, Front Street Boxing, the Lioness Club, Girls Friday, Lookout, Knockout Babes, and Sceej for joining us tonight. We’ll see you at the next Fates PPV!"
Tough outing for Miss Cheryl but we understand the youngsters have to learn their lessons fast! And Katherine learned a valuable lesson from Jessica Lowndes before which allowed her to take a win here. Still, we're satisfied with Cheryl's performance if not the result!
Btw, Karen Gillan has fully settled in Hollywood now so it's gonna be curious what she can do as full-time FCBA member. Welterweight is no stranger to powerful redheads indeed!
Tay-Tay, the only danger of anybody getting put to sleep is if you bore them to sleep with your delusions of being the Alpha Blonde of the FCBA, which as we all know is me.
If you're as tired of hearing yourself talk as I am and undoubtedly the rest of the FCBA is as well, then I would be more than happy to shut you up and give you a well-deserved nap.
If you're ready to lay down and bring it against the true Queen of the FCBA, then I'm ready to show you where you belong, b*tch!!

This is true. Only time will tell as to what she will do!
