Intro:
Now the debut of Britt Baker, one of the best known faces of the new wrestling company All Elite Wrestling (AEW), she goes now against one of the WWE's multi talented stars in CJ Perry (Lana) can Britt get a win to start off her boxing career right or will CJ break another fighters dreams in the FCBA ring.

The build up to the fight saw both women not say much about each other, more focusing on training for seemingly believing will be a hard fight if stories out of both camps are to be believed.

That goes along with plenty of pressure from their bosses, Brandi Rhodes and Stephanie McMahon supposedly told their fighters to show the other company why they were the best.

Alicia Atout got a chance to finally speak to both in their locker rooms, going into Britt's room first to see her getting her hands taped up by her coach.

Asked about her feelings tonight, Britt replies "Alicia me and you have known each other a while, I like you a lot more then most people in this business, you know I worked my ass off to become a licensed dentist, so I've worked hard to learn boxing and feel confident that I'll master this too"

Asked about her feelings on Catherine Joy, Britt smirks and replies "I know she does muay Thai with her husband and has a lot more experience then me, I respect her in that way"

Once her hands are taped up, Britt stands up and finishes by saying "but I am not afraid of her one bit, she has been too busy having twitter wars and being in fake weddings on TV to focus on me, imagine her face when I put her down for the count, oh and when I knock her teeth out, well I'll be generous and give her a free appointment at my surgery" smiling as Alicia chuckles at that.

Going into CJ's locker room, she sees her shadow boxing with her husband and coach both smiling, she stops when she sees Alicia head inside.

She is asked about Britt, CJ answers "well I saw a little of her in the WWE performance center, she is fit I'll give her that, technique hasn't always been her strongest suit when it came to wrestling, I am betting her boxing is the same"

Asked if she might be underestimating Baker, she replies "oh trust me Britt will get my best, we both have a point to prove, I always seem to around these events, I step into the ring and knockout rivals, yet every year people underestimate me, I'm here to win is all you need to know" Alicia nods before leaving the room.

Fighting time; "The Doctor Will See You Now" rings out on the speakers as Britt emerges from the tunnel at the Tropicana Stadium, she poses with her hands on her hips with a big beaming smile.

The Pittsburgh native jogs down the aisle wearing Steelers colours, black sports bra with gold trim, matching shoes and trunks, "DMD" in gold letters on the waistband, black gloves with gold around the wrists, her brunette hair tied into a braid.

Once inside the ring, Britt heads to each side of the ring with her arms at her side, looking excited to fight tonight, her coach telling her to show the FCBA why she is one to watch.

"Ravishing" now plays as CJ comes out, she looks all business as she marches down the carpeted aisle towards the ring.

She is wearing a red sports bra with sequins on, matching trunks, red shoes and gloves, her blonde hair is tied back into a braid as she steps into the ring.

CJ stands at the center of the ring shadow boxing to show off her skills, maybe trying to get into Britt's head more then for the crowds attention.

Justin Roberts heads into the ring for our introductions, he shouts "first to my right, she comes from Pittsburgh, she is 28 years old, standing 5'7 and weighed in 121lbs, this is her debut fight, Britt Baker!"

"Her opponent to my left, she comes from Florida, she is 34 years old, she also stands 5'7, weighing in at 124lbs, her record is 2 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 3 defeats, CJ Perry!" CJ just smiles as she continues her warm up.

Aubrey Edwards waves the fighters to the center of the ring, eyes locked in an intense stare as the final instructions are being told to them.

Touching their gloves up respectfully, they nod as they turn back to their corners, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Bouncing on their toes as they come out their corners, they look to be showing the other respect to start as it looks like a feeling out process in the opening minute.

Neither pushing the boat out as they mostly land single punches, while circling with their right hand near the cheek to guard from any hooks.

After that opening minute, it is CJ that looks to let the flood gates open with a nice crisp jab/straight up top, ducking under a left cross to drill in a right to the abs of the Dentist.

That spurs Britt on, leading to the first real fiery exchange between them, a small flurry of punches come from them as feet are planted by both, landing several nice clean shots to the cheeks of their opponent.

Perry goes for an uppercut that Britt sidesteps, a left hook crashes into the side of the blondes face, opening her up to two more punches square into her face.

Britt opens up on CJ as she drives the WWE star behind her gloves near the ropes, CJ showing off her defensive skills to block most of the punches though to the delight of her coach.

Delight changes to a wince when Britt feints with her left, instead burying her right into the abs of Catherine, a left hook then slams into the ribs of CJ to make her groan out.

The round comes to a close with Britt just doing enough late on to maybe swing the round her way, neither coach looks too worried yet, putting that round under the feeling out tag.

Round 2:
Now with a better understanding what they are up against, they are slinging more punches when they come together at the ring center.

It's the doctor that lands a beautiful right to the mouth of CJ first, a follow up left cross pushing back Perry to her heels as Britt is putting her punches together more.

When CJ is near the ropes; the doctor pulls the trigger too quickly, a right hook sails harmlessly past the face of the leaning out the way blonde, a left hook instead crashes into the ear of Baker.

Allowing CJ to fight her way off the ropes, she drills a left/right straight into the face of Baker, moving back to the center of the ring, where she starts to show off her boxing skills.

Slipping a jab aimed at her head, CJ counters with a right under the ribs, then lands a left hook up top to turn the brunette's head to the side.

It's CJ now controlling the pace, keeping Brit aimed towards the ropes as both women trade some nice crisp punches to the others face, the blonde though is able to dodge more with her freedom of movement.

The round comes to a close with Britt nodding to CJ, seeing why the Florida native is such a vaunted boxer in the WWE ranks, CJ looking cool as she sits down on her stool, knowing she has the tools to win this fight.

Round 3:
Back out their corners trading with more force behind their punches as they sit down on them, the time for really going at it seems to be here judging by some of the thuds being heard from leather hitting flesh.

CJ looks to step in with a jab that Britt ducks under, a right hammers into the abs of Perry, AN UPPERCUT FOLLOWS INTO THE CHIN TO SEND CJ TO HER BACKSIDE!

No gloating from Britt as she heads to the neutral corner, 1...2...3... Maybe knowing this is a flash knockdown as CJ gets to a knee, 4....5...6.. The WWE star shaking her head to clear it, 7...8.. Then gets up to show she is OK.

Aubrey let's Perry continue after a check, again the fighters trade jabs as Britt looks for a way to get inside, CJ boxing more off the back foot as she tries to regain some rhythm.

A left cross turns CJ's head, Britt's eyes lighting up as she presses forwards, drilling a right into the mouth of Perry to make her groan out.

Back along the ropes goes CJ, she is covering up as the crowd is evenly split, Britt only has eyes on hurting her opponent, swinging wildly at her till she is clinched up.

After being split up and the clock is running down this round, Britt rushing her attacks as she shows her inexperience, CJ able to dip under hooks and makes Baker pay with some counter punches.

At the conclusion to the round, Britt raises her right fist in the air in celebration of a great round for her, CJ gets wiped down of sweat, while told to not lose her own focus.

Round 4:
Britt is looking now to press the action, getting more aggressive as she steps after her opponent, CJ boxing on the back foot though as this round is almost like the end of the last so far.

The AEW wrestler does catch Perry on her lips with her jab, a right cross slams onto her cheek as Britt begins to force back the WWE star towards a corner.

CJ though drives in a double jab to the face of Britt, ducking a left cross as she bumps back the Pittsburgh native, then she steps back into space to work.

As Britt goes to engage CJ, she is met with a counter uppercut that snaps her head back, some sweat flying off her head as she goes back a step to a cheer from the Perry corner.

Things turning around as CJ starts to press back Britt with body shots, the brunette able to nudge back CJ, firing back as they go toe to toe to the fans delight.

In the final thirty seconds of the round, CJ steps back out the way of a left hook, she pounds in a left/right straight into Baker's face, ending the combo with an uppercut to rattle back Britt.

The round ends with Britt nodding to CJ as she couldn't hide that combo had hurt her, Britt gets a lecture from her coach as she sits on her stool, the crowd seems to be loving this fight as they cheer for both women.

Round 5:
Coming out their corners with a flurry of jabs to start, Britt tries to be the first to be more aggressive, her right hand though is easily spotted by CJ, WHO DIPS DOWN AND COUNTERS WITH A HARD RIGHT INTO THE LIVER OF BRITT, WHO TAKES A STEP BACK, THEN FALLS TO HER KNEES IN A DELAYED REACTION!

The crowd are stunned as CJ jogs straight over to the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4... Britt is holding her stomach as her forehead touches the canvas when she bends forwards, 5...6...7.. This maybe the worst pain she has felt in awhile, 8...9...10 Britt is counted out!

After:
Another win for Catherine Joy as she raises her fists into the air, smiling as she looks down at the wreckage that is the good doctor Britt.

Who has her coach helping her slowly to her feet, an ice pack in hand to try to numb the pain, Britt spitting her gumshield out so she can get more air into her lungs after taking that devastating shot.

The winner doesn't show any malice to Britt, even as they are on different sides in the wrestling war, just having a quick check with Britt to make sure she is OK, after getting a nod that she will, CJ raises her fists in the air as she heads off to her corner to a cheer.

Britt is looking better after a good minute, getting her gloves taken off in her corner, she admits "f*** first real time I've been hit there that hard, guess it is a hard lesson to learn for my next fight" her coach simply nodding in reply.

In CJ's corner, she gets a hug from her coaches as they tell her she looked great again, she replies "I always do when I get in here" a confident look on her face as she high fives her coach after getting her gloves off.

Aubrey brings both women together at the center of the ring for the final result, Britt nods as CJ gets her hand raised to a cheer, knowing she must do better if she is to get her first win.

Though as Britt leaves the ring to head to the back, she should take comfort that she landed a sweet punch in the third to put down Perry, she has nice power and technique, maybe more the mental side of the sport she needs to work on as she rushed her attacks too much looking for the win.

Inside the ring CJ looks back to her modelling days as she poses for the cameras, raising her right fist towards the camera for the final pose as she says "get a good look at this fist girls, I am going to tear through the lightweight division with it" getting a big smile from her coach.

They all leave the ring together as CJ looks ready to go another five rounds, she bounces on her toes as she heads up the ramp, smiling as she seems to be looking forwards to what is next for her.
