Two of the hottest wrestling stars on the planet meet in this fight, with the WWE NXT champion Asuka, keen to take on the evergreen TNA champion Gail. Unless Asuka transfers her allegiance, they won’t be meeting in the wrestling ring, but how will they fare in boxing!
First into the ring is Asuka, wearing her blue corset outfit, with matching gloves and boots, and she’s looking hot, but Gail’s soon in there with her, and she’s wearing a red basque and knickers, with matching gloves and boots, and she’s hotter still!
Round 1
The girls make a quick start to the fight, each wanting to get on top quickly, but Asuka’s punching is quicker than Gail’s and she’s got the older girl moving backwards in a hurry, helping her on her way with a couple of stinging right hooks and a left cross, and already Gail’s marked around her left eye, testament to Asuka’s accuracy, with the younger girl prodding her backwards some more, Gail landing a few good shots to Asuka’s slightly fleshy body in response, and that’s a good tactic from Gail, who ends the round on a high, even though it belonged mostly to Asuka.
Round 2
Asuka’s strong again as the girls resume, and she’s really working a number on Gail’s left eye with her right hook, the older girl not protecting herself well enough as the round begins, but she lands a few decent punches of her own on Asuka, first on her body, then, as she slows the Japanese girl down, she rocks her with some good punches to her face, and she’s hurt her for sure with a peachy right cross, Asuka on wobbly pins briefly, but fighting back once more in the closing stages, although she’s in a corner, and Gail’s searching and probing with her gloves to open her up a little, Asuka defending well, but these girls are well matched, and it’s all even at this stage.
Round 3
The girls exchange jabs, and Gail lands another hard right cross, but she gets nailed by a right hook from Asuka, and she’s staggering as the Japanese girl just gives her some heavy punishment, Gail’s defensive gloves blocking as best she can, but Asuka’s dominant right now, and she’s really hurt the Canadian with a fast right and left combination, Gail backed up to the ropes again, and she has to hold and hang on after a big straight left from Asuka crashes into her face, sending her head backwards fast, and she looks dazed and confused as the younger girl gives her body some experimental shots in the closing stages of a one-sided round.
Round 4
And now Asuka’s going for the big punches, and trying to finish Gail off, but she needs to be careful because the Canadian’s obviously a fit lady, and she’s able to soak up the punishment that Asuka’s handing her, although she’s bleeding from her nose, and she’s fighting back in this round, trades punches with the younger girl – and hurts her! Asuka has to give ground as Gail lands that right cross again, and follows it up with a couple of stunning left hooks, and she’s making Asuka back off for the first time in the fight, and lands a good right uppercut to weaken the girl some more, actually winning the round after looking like she was ready to go down.
Round 5
It’s a rejuvenated Gail who gets stuck into a bewildered Asuka from the bell, pressing the younger girl backwards with some ferocious punches to her body, which the Japanese girl somehow withstands, and she hits and hurts Gail with two good jabs before the Canadian takes over again, and she has Asuka stumbling sideways after giving her a solid left hook, and now it’s Gail who tries to end the fight as she rips into Asuka, who now has some blood truckling from a cut on her right cheek, but she responds well to the challenge, and hits the Canadian with a good combination before taking another sweet right cross at the bell, with Gail now looking the more likely winner of this fight.
Round 6
Again it’s Gail who lands the early blows, with Asuka backing away towards her own corner a pace or two before she gives anything back, but when she does, it’s bad news for Gail, because this Japanese girl really seems to have the weapons in those gloves to make any other fighter’s time in the ring a misery, her right hook crushing into Gail’s face and sending her spinning backwards, and the older girl looks a little groggy as Asuka swats her face with three more big right hooks, and she’s got her in trouble, lands a left hook to follow, and clubs Gail with a couple more savage right hand punches, blood running down the Canadian’s face as her left eyebrow gets gashed open, and she’s struggling at the end of round six as Asuka dominates her.
Round 7
Both girls have given so much in this fight, but it’s still there for one of them to win. Their faces are bruised and bleeding, but the tear into each other again, although Gail’s not landing the punches she needs, whilst Asuka’s hurting her, gives her a swift and stunning one-two, a hard right to the gut, and a lovely right hook, which puts Gail down. She gets to her feet at 6, and remarkably, she’s fighting back, giving Asuka a hard time with some probing bodypunches, and she gets another of those right crosses landing between Asuka’s gloves, and the Japanese girl staggers, then gives Gail another heavy shot to her body, the Canadian’s torso twisting in pain, her face exposed, and Asuka finishes her off with another left and right hook combination, Gail ending the fight sprawled on the canvas.
Result: Asuka knocked out Gail Kim in round 7
That was brutal, but after the fight, Asuka goes to Gail’s corner, and insists the defeated girl accompanies her on a walk around the ring, not a walk of shame, a walk of pride.
But after the fight, there seems to be some argument in Asuka’s corner – she’s not happy with something?
