For immediate release on video:
Fates is sitting behind his desk, wearing a straw hat. He looks at the camera, and begins speaking.
"It is my pleasure to announce that Fates Boxing is signing its first flyweight fighter. At 23 years old, 5'4" tall, and from Kansas City, Missouri, Katherine McNamara is the stable's newest addition. While McNamara may hold a record of 1-2, we believe that she possesses incredible potential for the future, and she showed some of that promise last Friday night at the PPV. We hope that we can foster the young actress' career in the ring, and we are very much looking forward to seeing her fight more in the future, especially on behalf of the stable."
Fates pauses and smiles before continuing. "It is now my pleasure to introduce the newest member of Fates Boxing, Katherine McNamara, and I know she has some words to say."
As the redheaded actress walks into frame on the camera, Fates stands up and shakes McNamara's hand before motioning her to sit down in the chair. McNamara sits down, her tight-fitting blue dress accentuating her lovely figure as she sits down.
"It is my honor to be a part of a stable like Fates Boxing. You look at what has happened with fighters like DiDonato, to see her effectively forgotten by the FCBA but suddenly molded into a powerful competitor. You look at Ana Beatriz Barros joining the FCBA at 37 under Fates Boxing and she has a winning record. It's incredible to be chosen as the first flyweight of a stable like this. I am looking forward to growing as a fighter and introducing myself around the division."
The young red-head pauses and looks dead at the camera before continuing.
"I know that there will be those who say I am a pushover. That I do not deserve a stable contract. But I have a message for you haters. I don't care who you are - I am going to prove you wrong. I will rise. I will win. And I will show you all that I belong here, maybe humiliating some fellow flyweights in JMD along the way. Beyond that, I am very much looking forward to training with the other women of Fates and fighting on the August PPV."
With that, the announcement concludes, and the updated Fates Boxing roster goes up on the screen.
