TESS VALMORE
LARSON/MIN-HEE At the present time Larson is an average fighter. She has a 6-3 record. Her previous stable pushed her too fast sending her out against fighters like VanCamp and Lilly. Min-Hee comes into the fight with a 7-4 record. Debuting in 2016, she won her first seven fights. Since then she has lost for straight bouts, three of which were conventional. She stepped up the competition and it hasn’t gone well. This bout also won’t go well for the Korean.
Larson wins.
BARROS/E.HEATHERTON This will be Barros third fight. He first was back in January 2017 in which she lasted less than three rounds. She strikes me as a 38 year old rookie on the road to nowhere. I know there is Winnick, but I think she is a rare exception to the old rookies doing poorly. The fact that she is welter may help as that division is weak. Management offered her up as a sacrificial lamp to Upton in the May PPV. Her opponent, Heatherton has never won a fight. She is 0-6 in her career although she has fought three top ten welters. I have no strong opinions about this fight. since i have to predict a fight between fighters who know not the taste of victory, I will go with Barros
ELLINGSON/MING XI Ellingson has had one fight, coming into the FCBA back in 2016 at the Asylum. Naturally she lost. Ming Xi has fought mainly in the BBU. She came into the FCBA back in March of 2017. Of course, she lost. I don’t have a clue, but since Ming Xi has had some success in the BBU, I will go for her. I am confused (that’s not unusual) about the winner getting a fight against a free agent. Then, the names of Swift and Olsen appear who are not free agents.
PRINSLOO/LAWLEY Prinsloo has been impressive over the last three months. Her win over Freeman may elevate her into the top ten in at least one of the two rankings. Lawley’s main advantage is that the is big. She’s the Godzilla of the FCBA. She’s good against also rans, but coughs it up against good opponents. She got her clock cleaned by Rhoda in the May PPV. She hasn’t done
DIDONATO/DELEVINGNE DiDonato is 6-4 for her career after beating Agdal in the May PPV. In my review of the May PPV, i put DiDonato in the welter class(my bad), she’s a lightweight. She is 3-1 for the year, losing to Ambrosio. Delevingne has an 8-6 record. Delevingne has a 6-2 last year, but her opponents were on the weak side. In her last fight in December of last year, she lost to Lynch who is a bantam. DiDonato walks away with another victory
