TESS VALMORE
The FNL International Cup PPV went pretty much as expected
Kiernan Shipka followed up her win over Jane Levy by KOing Leah Perkins in the 6th round. Although her win over Perkins was against a newbie. the win might pickup some interest in her among stables looking for a flyweight
Fonseca was a poor choice to represent the US. She had been inactive and had a long losing streak. Scott may not be the best new fighter, but she had enough to take care of Fonseca who managed to last into the seventh
The US couldn’t lose the Larson/Kreiling bout since both are American citizens Larson won the fight in the eighth by a TKO
Windsor was a refugee from the New Blood Tournaments who faced a newbie in Lorena Rae. I didn’t have any strong feeling about this bout. I picked Windsor t win, not because she was representing the US, but because she was blond. That was a bad decision. Rae won
The Vanessa Hudgens/Emma Watson was a fight that had title shot implications. It was a good active fight, close all they way, that ended in a draw. Both fighters agreed to go extra rounds. It didn’t take long. About two minutes into the eleventh Hudgens landed and uppercut and a right hook and Watson’s night was over
The official result was USA winning 3-2 Tractorpull result USA winning 4-1 since one of the fights featured two Americans
