Our reporter and his blonde companion sit watching basketball at Bazz with Cassandra Lynn Scerbo, Poindexter Del Crunchy, and the Man In The Hat.
Reporter: "So, that VIX card was something..."
Pointy: "They always do a nice event. Helps to have a great roster like they do..."
Man In The Hat: "Indeed. Would have liked to see Levin win, of course, but, she was in tough with Emily..."
Tess: "And, I KNOW you would have liked to have seen Collins lose..."
Man In The Hat: "Oh, we haven't FORGOTTEN Collins, no. But, that being said, she's a heck of a fighter and richly deserves that title shot. Here's hopin' Mishy gives her somethin' ELSE she deserves, however..."
Cassie: "That Ren/Kerr fight could have easily been on pay-per-view..."
Pointy: "Sure could have. Two top lightweights."
Man In The Hat: "I've been saying Ren's for real for a long time."
Tess: "And, I know you like Agdal..."
Man In The Hat (nodding): "Came close to being signed here. Girl has the goods to be lightweight champion."
Reporter: "Speaking of girls signing here, lots of speculation on where you might be going as we head to the Front Street Tenth Anniversary..."
Man In The Hat: "I'm sure there is. And, while we continue to gather information to make decisions, you might want to keep something in mind. We are now into our tenth year in the FCBA. Over those nine years and a few weeks, there have been 30 full members of this active roster. 14 are still on it. Of the other sixteen, seven have retired. That means we've either released or traded nine girls over nine plus years. And. Of those nine girls, five, over half, were released in the one big shakeup of this roster we've had in those nine-plus years..."
Reporter: "So, you're saying..."
Man In The Hat: "What I'm SAYING is, we try to pattern ourselves after stables like Bazz, Lookout! HISC, and Foxfire, stables that have quite a bit of roster stability. Of course, changes do occur, but only on occasion. On our roster, from 2011-2013, we made no changes at all. From February 2014 until May of 2017, the only changes we made were as a result of retirements. We like stability. We think that's how you succeed, just as those stables and others like them have succeeded. So, we always lean in that direction. However. With that tenth anniversary coming up, well. It's a good time to make decisions. So. We'll see what happens. Now, let's watch some ball."
