Our reporter and his blonde companion sit watching basketball at Bazz with Cassandra Lynn Scerbo, Poindexter Del Crunchy, and the Man In The Hat.
Reporter: "Well, Wiz, Kristen sure came up big on the FNL card."
Man In The Hat: "She did, indeed, and that was a heck of a card, by the by..."
Pointy: "Sure was. Lots of good fights and Day was impressive."
Cassie: "The subject, however, was Kristen coming up big, and she absolutely did. And, she's going to come up big on pay-per-view, too, and that will prove what I've been saying, Uncle Wiz..."
Tess: "And, she'll be even HARDER to live with if it turns out she's right..."
Cassie (smiling): "Just a little. Since, you know, I'm right a LOT..."
Reporter: "So, Wiz, Tess thinks your girls are going to lose three of four on the PPV..."
Tess: "Seriously. I'm going to buy a WAFFLE IRON just so I can HIT you with it!"
Man In The Hat (laughing): "Again, Tess has a job to do, and that's to predict fights to the best of her ability. She's often right. This time, she is WRONG."
Reporter: "Really?"
Man In The Hat: "Really. Oh, I get why she's picking against us in the three fights. But. I don't think we're going 1-3 on this pay-per-view. Oh, we COULD. We could go 0-4. These are all tough, competitive fights, and you never know in the FCBA until the fight is over. But. I like how we're preparing for this event. I like the attitude we have around here. I LIKE the urgency when it comes to big fights. I LIKE what I'm seeing. And, I think we're going to do OK."
Reporter: "Speaking of Tess' picks..."
Tess: "Cassie, would you, perhaps, HAVE a waffle iron in your warehouse?"
Cassie: "Oh, I probably do..."
Reporter: "I noticed that, of four fights, and, if you include Stewart against Watson at FNL, of FIVE non-Asylum fights, FOUR are flyweights or welterweights...two divisions you're considering eliminating. Why push girls at weights you may be getting out of?"
Man In The Hat: "Because, we make decisions, but we don't give up, and there's a difference."
Reporter: "Explain..."
Man In The Hat: "OK. Let's take Jamie Lynn for example. At some point, we made the decision to take her off the active roster. But. Until we MADE that decision, we kept working hard to develop her, get her back on track. We kept pushing her and booking her. Because, we weren't going to quit. Now, at some point, you make a decision that this isn't working and you have to go another way. But. Until you do that, you keep working. We may well make a decision that this stable's future is at JMD/D, bantamweight, and lightweight. Or, perhaps just those and welter. Or, perhaps just those and fly. Until we do, however, we're going to keep working. Especially since what happens in 2019 is going to have a lot to do with the decisions we make approaching that tenth anniversary. Now. Let's watch some ball."
