Hayden and Ashley both snapped long cold snaps, but let’s face it, they both need this win!
Ashley painted on teal bandeau, white gloves hair in short pony. Hayden painted on red bikini with “Hello Kitty” in white script across the bottom, logo on left breast. Red gloves, hair back in battle bun
R1: Ashley banging against Hayden’s flanks, mitts bouncing loud off meat. Panettiere huddling forward behind her mitts, grunting early, Greene comes off the flanks to dip her shoulders and dig heartily amidships, thick right&lefts. Hayden bumped backwards to ropes, covering up, unable to answer: Ashley rides her guard into her fellow blonde’s to bump, then helps herself., Wide, bashing blows crashing off ribs, digging blows curled up the middle, working tummy and rack. Steady attrition gives Greene a bruising shutout first.
R2: Hayden glaring, wanting payback, but Ashley’s bludgeoning ferocity still too much, belting contact wide to Panny’s hips and ribs. Greene in constant motion--torso dipping down, then rising as she hoists leather up into Hayden’s midsection; shoulders bumping hard, backing her up. More grinding apron action, Ash on Hayden, Greene riding her guard in, smearing Panettiere sideways, then pounding away lusty lefts and rights. Hayden covering up, cringing under the beating, but legs hold her up as Ashley romps to a shutout second.
R3: Hayden wading in, punching as she steps, hook on the jaw, right hand on the forehead. Ashley driven ropeside. Panettiere crowds in rough with her left shoulder, feet planted and RIPPING hooks to breadbasket! Greene in shock; 6,7,8 digging blows: breathless blonde finally ties up, legs on the verge of giving. Ref’s break: Hayden pushes back in, bodying Ashley upright, going to her ribs now with rights--PILING them on, driving in with her upper body to pancake Greene upright and foil the clinch. Panny shoving, resetting, back on the body with multiple chugging hooks. Bell to bell Hayden just ON Ashley, Greene slumped, stunned-grinning Panettiere mocks her by pretending to warm her hands on Ash’s steaming tummy after the bell.
R4: Ashley keeping her head in the game, refusing to punk or panic despite some HUGE Hayden minutes. Greene standing her ground in the fourth, bumping guards midring, hooking from there to the ribs, doubling up left uppercuts off the body to clip Panny’s chin. Hayden backing up, then laying in: getting good, good ripping leverage on body shots. Thrilling stuff, not really a boxing match: both girls just taking turns pounding away as each girl gets sent achy to her corner in the fourth.
R5: Ashley thinking with her gut, brutal, sustained punching in close: heads bowed; fists pumping. Hayden comes off the body with a little left uppercut: clipping shot startles Greene, loosening her knees. Ashley stumbling backward: Hayden hops-to with a stubby right cross, turning her a quarter turn to her right, sending her face-first to ropes. Panettiere pouring in, teeth bared: she rakes hooks across tummy, weight set on front leg to batter Greene into submission. Ashley butt in ropes, soaking it up rather than clinching or trying to get out of there. Hayden redoubles her efforts - ramping up the volume: opportunistic right hands join in the fun, punching her senseless while hooks continue to ply the flank. IT'S ALL HAYDEN! Panettiere's body taut, electric with punching fervor: right hands pouring in across face; left hooks bat-batting that body and GREENE GOES DOWN! Ashley slow-wilting to her knees on the sand, tries to get up once...twice...but it's no go! KO5 Hayden Panettiere.
After: Hayden leaping into arms of her trainer, being carried around the ring as Foxfire crew and onlookers cavort and celebrate: Panny goes at Ashley the hard way, gets it done, leaving Greene sulking in her corner. "She's bigger than me," admits a puffy, but exuberant Hayden in postfight, "I felt her strength early, but I was determined to break her spirit. She just couldn't take it in there from me - she got more and more used up and I just got stronger!
