TP's prejudices are well known, so we decided to do her job for her. If nothing else it will show just why Tess CAN'T ignore this card, especially when BWO is banned. And the thought of Tess watching a Body Paint card, and having to take it seriously, warms our hearts this cold December weekend!
GIBBS/TAILOR - Two developing fighters, 21 fights between them, perfect opener material. Tailor, Instagram girl with a Playboy spread, looks like she's taken over Kendra Wilkinson's old spot as Odd Man's opener. Gibbs has a 6-3 record that makes her the favorite on the surface compared to Tailor's 6-6, but the Texan has also been experimenting at welter. All-in-all, a closely matched bout that could go either way. Bet on the blonde!
MITCHELL/RATAJKOWSKI - Mitchell lost her last fight, but you don't fall far for losing to Rachel Mac. Emily has also had a good year, against arguably better opposition. Their only opponent in common is Bella Thorne, who Mitchell beat and Emily didn't. Edge probably still goes to Shay, but whatever Tess says, this IS a fight that could provide the winner of the Dobrev/Lynch title fight their first challenger!
KOSTEK/ROHRBACH - The hottest new thing in the Welter division vs the VIXEN who just can't seem to catch fire. Rohrbach is 2-1 versus welters and has much more experience. But Camille is built on the same lines as Tahnee Atkinson, and we've all seen what THAT can do to a fighter. Rohrbach probably with the edge by experience, but she's going to have to be VERY careful.
LOWNDES/ROSE - This is the bout Tess HATES! Rose an Instagram/ Daily Mail star, BBU import who thrives in JMD. And Tess can't ignore this fight! If Dobrev retains in January, and Rose beats Lowndes, Dobrev can readily take the Lioness Alpha spot by beating Rose in a title fight! Rose is inside the unofficial line to be eligible for a title fight, in fact she's O&E's top ranked bantam these days. Honestly, this one is too close to call. Lowndes has had a better year than her record shows, but Rose is formidably rugged.
KRSMANOVIC/LIMA - Lima's 5-0 versus welters. She may have left the VS runway, but there's no sign she's letting the models up form under her stiletto. Bo COULD win, but we're not banking on it.
AGDAL/SAGRA - Agdal has had a so-so year, and Sagra is not the fighter you want to try to break a losing streak on. Sagra's JMDD qualified, maybe Hannah can stop her, but her rampage through the VIXENS continues.
GREENE/PANETTIERE - Neither of these fighters have had a good year. They're both excellent beach fighters. Should be a good show to watch, but I can't say which one is going to break out their funk first.
GONZALEZ/STRAHOVSKI - Gonzalez has edged her way into the Lightweight elite. This fight should prove whether she BELONGS there or is just a statistical fluke after the lightweight tournament. We know what Tess thinks. She's not wrong, Straho the overwhelming favorite, but she gets there the wrong way.
ATKINSON/FERGUSON - A Main Event deserving of the word. One of the two two-time JMDD champions vs the reigning JMDD Champ. 6 titles between them. 3-3 head-to-head. They've each taken a title away from the other. Nobody in their right mind is gonna call this one till the bodies hit the sand, and the smart ones are going to wait until the ref finishes counting.
A great card, a great show, and watching Tess get marched in by her boss is only going to be the cherry on top!
