TESS VALMORE
CHUNG/BRESLIN Chung comes into this fight with a 3-9-1 record. She’s 2-8 in her last ten bouts. Her wins were against Knightley and Underwood Breslin has a 4-2 career record with her wins being over Frege and Moretz. Sounds like she should be able to take care of Chung. Well, the kicker is that Chung is five inches taller. I know of only one manager who refused a fight due to height difference and I wonder if managers ever bother to check anything other than the record. That’s not to say that Breslin can’t win this fight. She can, but she won’t Chung will win
ZIYI/LONGORIA Ziyi’s first FCBA bout was back in May of 2003. Her next bout was in May 2015. Yes, there were 12 years between the two bouts Since coming back, she has won two out of three beating Witherspoon and Stefani. She is now 39 and her last bout was in March of last year, which was her only bout that year. There’s a question as to how sharp she can be. Longoria is now 43 and hasn’t been very active. She has had seven FCBA bouts and two in the BBU in the last seven years. She has lost five straight and her last win was in May 2010. Over all, she has a 20-15 record and once held the unified title. Longoria has a height problem. Ziyi is three inches taller. I don’t think the height difference will be as much of a factor as in the Chung bout. Longoria will win, If not, she should hang the gloves up
REFAELI/PALVIN Refaeli is a seven year veteran of the FCBA with a 15-20-3 record. Last year she was cut loose form Odd and Ends, which has apparently been good for her. Last year, while in the stable, she had five bouts. This year as an independent, this will be her seventh. She has been called to fight some pretty good talent like Ambrosio. Agdal, Sagra and Kerr. She is 2-4 for the year with wins over Ruah and Alexander. In experience, Palvin has fought about a third as many fights as Refaeli. Palvin had a fine 2017 going 6-2. As an award, this year she has gotten only two fights, one of which was in the tournament. Unfortunately she lost both. Maybe if she got canned like Refaeli, she might get more bouts. They have something in common. They both lost to Agdal and Kerr. Palvin is younger and a little bigger, but I am going to go with experience. Refaeli will win
FLAIR/THERON I couldn’t believe this one. McMahon should be charged with involuntary manslaughter. Flair is solidly built, built for power. Theron's slender, built for speed that has mostly left that 43 year old body that has endured some of the most savage, damaging bouts in history. Flair is eleven years younger and some twenty pounds heavier. She is undefeated is five fights with every fight ending before the end of the sixth. In her last bout, Theron suffered a brutal beating at the hands of Taylor Hill, being counted out before the end of seventh. It’s a prelude to what will happen here. I’m going to be in Tokyo for this bout. I just hope that I won’t have to visit her in the hospital
LILLY/JOHANSSON This is the main event, but I doubt it will be the best fight of the night. That could be Refaeli/Palvin. Johansson with 2-3 for the year and 3-7 in her last ten. At 39. Lilly seems to have found her mojo again. going 5-2 for the year so far with a big win over Danes in the October PPV. She has all the incentive as she makes a drive to get into the Hall Of Fame. I believe the two have fought only once before. Back in 2006, they fought to a draw. There will be no draw this time. Lilly will win by a KO
