TESS VALMORE
PAQUIN/McCURDY Paquin comes in to face McCurdy, She is two inches taller, but eleven years older and woefully short on experience.
This is Paquin's second visit to the Asylum this year. In fact, every fight she has had in the last four years has been at the Asylum, but that is only three. Want to know when Paquin’s last win was? Never. In her nine year history she has had only seven bouts and she lost them all. Would it surprise you If I said that McCurdy is going to win?
SNOW/LEVY Levy deserves better than this. She has won eight straight and needs to step up in competition especially seeing how competitive it is for the front of the flyweight bench. This will be Snow’s second visit to the Asylum. She was there last year. She’s had two fights in the last seven years. Of course, she didn’t win either. Levy by a KO
McPHEE/PERRY McPhee has had ten bouts in her five year career. She has lost nine of them. In her two Asylum visits, she failed to last the sixth.
In her last eight fights. she has failed to last the sixth round seven times. She fought Perry back in 2014 and lost a decision. That was probably the highlight of her career. i don’t believe I need to comment on Perry who obviously is going to win.
LARTER/SWAN The Wiz has to go further afield to get a lightweight fight now that he has worn out the Bazz lightweights, who are on life support. So go for a name. maybe a former champion, but make sure she is over 40. Larter fits that bill. She held several titles, but that was nine years ago. She has had two fights in the last six years and she didn’t win either. Swan has won nine of her last eleven. The two she lost were to the only top ten fighters she faced. Larter is no in the top ten Swan will win
BECKINSALE/DENNINGS Dennings draw the toughest opponent of the evening. Beckinsale has a fine record and may well be the best bantam never to hold a title. Unfortunately, in her early career, she wasted too much time fighting at lightweight. At 45, she has had four fights this year, winning two. She is scheduled to fight on a VIX card on 10/20, eleven days before this card. Dennings is not a typical Front Street fighter. She fights a pretty good schedule having fought Lovato and Minka Kelly this year. I think two fights in eleven days is too much for Beckinsale. Dennings will win
SPIRIDAKOS/REINHART Spiridakos is a typical Bazz fighter who principal duty is to fight at Front Street. Of her thirteen fights, seven have been at the Asylum. Initially, she has success winning three of the first four and drawing in the fourth. But that was then. Since 2016 she has lost her three appearances. That said, she is toughest fighter Reinhart has faced thus far. Reinhart won her first bouts, but a win here is certainly not guaranteed. If Front Street loses a fight on this card I think this may be it, however I will go with Reinhart.
