Our reporter and his blonde companion sit in the Man In The Hat's office at Front Street, their backs turned to the desk, watching the big screen on the back wall, where "The FCBA Today With Big K" is returning from its final break.
Kesha: "I'm back with our guests, Emily Osment and Alison Brie, and, ladies, it's time to get to it. Let's talk about this month's Asylum card!"
Emily: "Well, we'll start at flyweight, where Anna Paquin will make her return to Philadelphia to battle 'The Answer', Jennette McCurdy!"
Alison: "Next, there will be more flyweight action, this time featuring another Asylum return, Brittany Snow's. And, Ms. Snow will be facing 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy!"
Emily: "Next, it's up to welterweight, with Katharine McPhee once again climbing into the Asylum ring, this time for a bout against 'The Santa Barbara Slugger', Katy Perry!"
Alison: "Next it will be lightweight action and the Asylum debut of former lightweight champion Ali Larter against 'The Hottest Player In The Game', Serinda Swan!"
Emily: "We'll move to bantamweight next, with another Asylum debut, this time by Kate Beckinsale, who'll be taking on Kat 'The Rack' Dennings!"
Alison: "And, we'll wrap up at bantam with Tracy Spiridakos of the Bazz Fight Club stepping into the ring against 'Diamond' Lili Reinhart!"
Kesha: "That sounds like a heck of a card!"
Emily: "It will be, and tickets are not going to last..."
Alison: "They'll be on sale on the Front Street website as soon as we leave the air. So, get yours now and join us in Philly, or join Jenny O'Dell, Jenny McCarthy, Cassie Scerbo and Tess Valmore for 'Witches, Pumpkinheads, and Black Cats VI: Hallowe'en At The Asylum!'"
With that, the closing music and credits begin to roll and the ladies talk and laugh behind them with their mics potted down. The reporters turn to face the desk, where the Man In The Hat sits smiling.
Tess: "Even SMACKEY guessed the theme...horror movie girls...sort of a tradition at Hallowe'en..."
Man In The Hat: "Correct."
Reporter: "McPhee and Perry...that could be at lightweight. Why at welter?"
Man In The Hat (shrugging): "Why not? Both girls can fight there."
Tess: "What interests me are the two Asylum debuts. Larter and Beckinsale. As I said in one of my prediction pieces, Kate's getting a lot of work lately..."
Man In The Hat: "She can still fight. As can Ali. Both will be challenges to our girls, and both will put butts in seats. Win/win."
Reporter: "Snow and Spiridakos aren't pushovers, either..."
Man In The Hat: "No, they aren't. Again, they'll give our girls challenges. And, Paquin's record is plenty ugly, but, if you remember, she's ALREADY given some of our girls challenges. And, that's exactly what we expect THIS time. And, you know what ELSE you can expect? Great lobster when CHEF makes it..."
Tess: "Let's GO!"
