TESS VALMORE
Jane Levy won her bout with Mara as expected. What wasn’t expected was Winter’s win over Portman in the PPV a couple hours earlier. Levy has a 19-1 record and has beaten a couple good fighters. She does need to step up the competition I think the sitting arrangements on the flyweight bench are now Winter, Levy, McCurdy and Stewart (note; Stewart and I have issues)
Swan and Perry had similar opponents. Their competition had only one fight each which they lost. Let’s just say that Swan and Perry’s wins came as no big surprise.
Prepon being selected as an opponent for McKinney was somewhat of a surprise since she had once been a member of Front Street and the Wiz has a policy of not fighting former members. Prepon, however, was a member for 23 days and never had a fight under the Front Street banner. She lasted a little over five rounds against McKinney
Reinhart won her first fight at the Asylum with a KO of Petsch, who was in her maiden fight. I like Reinhart although I don’t know her. I haven’t had a chance to talk to her since she has been at Front Street I think she will become a fine addition to the Front Street bantam lineup
Once again Bazz furnished cannon fodder to Front Street in the form of the 48 year old Everhart. It took Arterton less than four rounds to dispose of her. Bazz is quickly becoming one of my pet peeves right up there with Chimera
