Plus, Tahnee Atkinson’s expressed interest in offering Kat a title shot – until she lost to Regan…can she get back into the champ’s sights again, who’s also fighting on tonight’s card? Freeman and Law have fought classic battles before…Kat’s taken her down twice, including a hair’s breadth UD13 overtime in 2013, but Cassidy won their only title fight – an honour that still eludes Kat – in 2014. “Every fight with Kat has been hell,” Cassidy admits. “In a way, even battling Amanda wasn’t worse than her, because Amanda has a much more regular set-up. With Katrina, her hand speed, the angles…she’s such a dangerous welter because she’s one of the sturdiest girls around but combines it with off-beat punches, smart thinking in the ring.” – Kat thinks, “Cass is a one-trick pony.
