TESS VALMORE
The June PPV is in the books with two title fights in which both champions successfully defended their titles
In the welter title bout, Alice Goodman, the challenger, who belongs to the dysfunctional Chimera stable, somehow managed to get a title shot with only three conventional fights under her belt Maybe Odd and Ends was looking for a cheap win. They got the win, but Atkinson had a harder time than I expected. Unfortunately. the bout was marred by gross humiliation. Atkinson did herself no favors by her conduct post fight. It was disgusting. Once again McMahon showed total disregard for her fighters stopping Goodwin from getting any help from staff
Vanessa Hudgens successfully defended her flyweight title. Who cares about the AMD title, which is the dumbest title in the history of the FCBA. That title also lead to a humiliation that was uncalled for, although not nearly as bad as that in the welters
One more terrible humiliation must be mentioned. That of Lima humiliating Swift. It was bad enough, but made much worse by the referee Bell joining in. Bell should be barred from further refereeing. Is this the way Odds and Ends is going to go as far as sportsmanship in concerned? It’s a disturbing trend
Regan. Kloss and Lawrence made strides to getting back into Tractorpull’s top ten welters, while Freeman and Krsmanovic may see their names removed from the rankings
In the lightweights, Yustman will probably be back in the top ten lightweights and Swift may drop out
Even though she lost a title fight in the last PPV, Kosarin should be on the list for opponents for the next bantam champ and well as Mitchell. As to who should get the next title shot, it seems to me that Bella Thorne should be in line for that gig.
Danielle Campbell’s win over Panettiere should move her towards a title fight. The veteran Hall of Fame member Michelle William’s should not be far behind after win over Keegan
Campbell’s win over Panettiere delayed Hayden’s entry into the Hall Of Fame. It was her 100th fight and she has the necessary win ratio, however we do not induct anyone into the Hall Of Fame on a loss. It will have to wait until her next fight assuming she wins
Speaking of marches to the Hall Of Fame. Sarah Carter was in her 96th fight and had her 56th win. In order to get into the Hall on her 100th fight, she will need to win all four of her next fights to barely qualify
There were the usual number of good fights while not unimportant had no immediate effect on the FCBA standings
