TESS VALMORE
Henstridge seems to have hit a wall as she lost her fourth straight with a KO loss to Jenna Coleman. It was a good fight with multiple knockdowns, only to be spoiled by post fight humiliation
The result of the Peregrym was a foregone conclusion Peregrym is a small lightweight. Her opponent, Rhoda is a big welter. No only that, but Rhoda is a top welter. Missy managed to last into the seventh before being counted out. We had to witness another humiliation. Why? Surely Rhoda knew this was not a momentous win. She beat a much smaller girl. Nothing exactly to celebrate
In a minor surprise, Scodelario managed to take the bantam title from VanCamp with a sixth round KO. While we didn’t see much humiliation after this bout, we did see poor sportsmanship. I expected more civility from these two stables. I still think this bout should have been held in a bar rather then a coffee shop
Strahovski defended her title with a seven round KO of Ambrosio, I thought Yvonne had a good lead when she finally managed to end it. Once again we had to witness poor sportsmanship, That is unusual for Yvonne.
Kate Upton got her revenge on Kendall Jenner. Jenner had won the first bout between these two. This time the result was different and Upton won by a KO in the eighth. Now each has a win setting up a rematch for the best of three. Upton did herself no credit in her post fight antics.
This was a good and enjoyable card marred by all the humiliation and poor sportsmanship. As I said I had expected better from these stables. Don’t give me that old “in heat of victory emotion” song and dance for the conduct and language. I don’t buy it.

First as much as it pains me to say, congratulations to Lookout and his girls on winning the war on Monday, though my girls don't extend those thoughts as they all seem to still want a piece of their rivals. On the whole humiliation bit and "oh the heat of the moment bit isn't a valid excuse" OK so how about the fact these women hate each other with a vengeance? I mean take Kaya and Emily; since the bantamweight title fight last year, they have been orbiting each other with insults flying, hair pulling and both wanting that title so badly, so a handshake was never going to happen. Same with all the other fights to different degrees, I mean when Kendall vs Kate III happens, expect there to be fireworks after the fight itself as I don't see either admitting defeat and I don't see the winner giving the loser a hug.

As Cus D'Amato* once said, "IF you don't want to be humiliated... don't lose the f...in' fight!"
*If it wasn't Cus, then perhaps it was voiced by Shakespeare's Polonius in "Hamlet"...or Plato in his "Apology of Socrates" or even Socrates himself?. In Aristotle's Organon #4 on "Posterior Analytics" he explained (in excruciating length) the value of getting back up after being knocked on your posterior to face an opponent again and again until you prevail. The Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs are contemporary examples of team approaches to the this philosophical approach to humiliation.
