(Written by Girls Friday/Results by Lookout!)(Bonzo's Gym vs Pretty Little Punchers inc.)Intro:The main event of tonights Gold Rush event sees two top contenders fight for the right to challenge the BBU bantamweight champion next, those two fighters being Kira Kosarin and Troian Bellisario.
Kira is 20 years old, stands 5'6 and holds a record of 8 wins, all by knockout and 3 defeats.
Troian is 32 years old, she stands 5'7 and holds a record of 35 wins, 31 by knockout and 17 defeats, she is a former FCBA bantamweight champion.
Both women came face to face at the press event, the tension could be felt by all around these two women as they got right into each others face.
Troian can be heard telling Kira "back off kid" with Kira pushing her body into her in reply and leading to a shoving match between the two, that quickly descends into the two grappling to the floor with hands in the others hair.
Security has a hell of a time separating these two hellcats, both snarling and tearing at tops to reveal lace bras underneath, heels fly off as they try to kick each other.
Once they are apart, it looks like organisers will be telling them to get off the stage, but Kira waves for a microphone.
Once she gets it she goes off on Troian "you think I am just some kid you can push around! Ask the other dumb bytches who thought that! I left them crying and I am certainly not going to be pushed around by you!"
Lifting her fists up as she tosses the microphone away, she shows that she wants to throw down now, screw the official fight I guess.
Troian isn't dumb enough to throw away a big fight like this over a silly bare knuckle fight, instead she replies "save your energy for the ring because if you want to be treated like an adult and not a dumb spoiled little bytch, you'll fight me fairly in there then this schoolyard sh*t!"
Kira's face turns red as she is already sick of Troian, who simply stares hard with her hands on her hips, the crowd sensing that Troian really wants to rip out every last hair off Kira's head and make her cry out her submission right now.
Instead Troian nods slowly at Kira and then turns to leave the stage, Kira just clenching her fists till her knuckles turn white, this fight now taking on a grudge feel on top of the big stakes already on the line.
Fight night; out comes Kira with her coach Nadia Bjorlin by her side, the youngster taking a deep breath as the crowd roar for her, this by far is the biggest fight of her still young career and she'd be lying if she didn't say she had butterflies.
Heading to the ring; Kira is wearing a baby blue sports bra, matching trunks with white trim, white gloves and blue shoes, her hair is braided for the fight.
Stepping into the ring; her growing fan base cheers her on loudly as she gives them a quick wave, Nadia though tells her "keep focused tonight OK? This is going to need everything you have!" Which gets a nod from Kira as she looked deeply focused.
Now out comes Troian with Nia Peoples by her side, Troian looks more at ease with her big fight experience to call upon, she blows a few kisses to the crowd as her fans start to loudly cheer her.
Her attire tonight is a white sports bra, a black and white half and half coloured trunks, white gloves and black shoes, her own hair is braided too.
Troian takes her time stepping into the ring, playing mind games with Kira as she does a lap outside the ring, just ignoring the ring as she tells the crowd "That's my ring!"
All the while Kira is staring at her and it takes Nadia telling her "ignore that bytch" to make her do that, Troian is smirking as she finally steps into the ring and begins her own warm up.
Soon enough the fighters are brought to the ring centre, getting right into each others faces, Kira telling Troian "no more running, it's just me and you now"
Troian scoffs and replies "when did I run you little bytch? Just go back to your corner so we can get this on and I can get my title shot"
Asked to touch gloves; neither does that, instead just turning and jogging to their corners, ready to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.
Round 1:"Ding" out come the two fighters with probing jabs to start the round off, Troian sticking to the outside of the ring as Kira takes the ring centre.
It's Kira who is trying to push forwards, use her physical style she has used in her previous fights to take control of this fight.
But Troian keeps side stepping her and countering Kira with stiff jabs and straights to her face, using the youngsters enthusiasm against her.
Troian snapping Kira's head back with two punches to the top of her head, building off them to back Kira up behind her guard.
As Troian tries to press forwards further, Kira shows her own speed and flexibility to duck under a right to step in and bang away to the body.
Kira working hard on the inside as the girls start letting their hands go, Kosarin looks to be coming out the better in the exchange.
That's till Troian uses her experience to nudge Kira back with her left to her face and throws an uppercut that knocks her opponent's head back.
Kira struck behind her guard as Troian presses forwards, the former champion controlling the action as Kira is herded on the outside of the ring.
Late in the round; Kira manages to slip under a left cross and lands two body shots, with an overhand right landing across Bellisario's face to push her back.
The girls let their hands go in the final few seconds of the round till the bell rings to end it, Kira scowls at Troian; who smirks in reply as they pass each other.
Troian coming out the blocks the quicker, which gets Nia to nod at her; the PLP corner working on cleaning her up and telling her a few things to improve on.
Round 2:Troian again looks to counter Kira; throwing jabs at her opponent's head and staying on the outside of the ring as Kira keeps trying to get in close.
The girls trade single jabs that bang away at the others guard, Kira getting clipped to her face with the more cleaner punches and a left cross catches her across the face.
But Kira dips under a jab and comes up with a overhand right and a quick left hand comes over the top to knock Troian back.
Kira bullies Troian back to the ropes with a body punching drill smacking the older fighter's ribs, when Troian touches the ropes, she comes firing back.
The fighters slug it out on the ropes; the crowd chanting for both women as Kira looks to be landing the better punches as Troian can't really load up on her punches.
Troian needing to shove Kira back and move into space, with Kosarin looking to get back at her, but Bellisario manages to catch her coming at her with punches finding their way off her face.
The action settles down as Kira keeps stalking Troian back; the women exchanging single punches at midrange as they move around the ring.
Late in the round; Kira parries a jab and swings a left cross to the chin of Troian and knocks her on to her heels with two more punches smacking off her face.
When the bell rings, Kira can be heard saying "how's that feel bytch" with Troian just smirking and shaking her head as she goes.
Nadia telling Kira "that's what I want from you, keep pounding bytch into submission" as Kira smiles at her and nods.
Round 3:Kira this time is the one looking to build of her success; with the fighters trading more at the ring centre as Troian doesn't want to be caught on the ropes.
Both women are trading more punches in bunches as the circle, with Kira getting caught it seems with the cleaner punches, as Troian uses her footwork to get out of trouble.
But Kira again shows her own speed off; slipping a left hook to land a right under the ribs, she just about misses with an overhand left as the bigger fighter leans out the way in time.
Instead Troian steps back and lands a double jab in counter to Kira, hitting her in the face as again the fighters settle on circling and trading stiff shots over the others guard.
Till Kira deflects a left cross and snaps a jab off the chin of Troian, who tries to step back and counter, but Kira stays in close and drives her opponent onto the ropes.
A fiery exchange takes place, with Kira getting her head down to get right into Troian's face to batter away at the body and even slyly the jugs of Bellisario to keep her pinned to the ropes.
Troian pulls Kira into a front headlock and lands two shots to the side of her opponent's body, forcing the referee to step in and separate the two, with Troian getting a warning over the headlock.
Once they get back into action, Troian keeps on the move, catching Kira coming in with more pinpoint punches, more stinging then power punches.
The round comes to an end with Kira now looking more confident as she heads to her corner, not quite as good a round as the last one, but she is letting Troian know she won't be pushed around.
But Troian doesn't exactly look worried in her corner, chatting away about the fight and washing her down, Troian tells Nia "she thinks she is good, she'll see what real class is now"
Round 4:As the fighters start off the round, Troian seems to have stepped up a gear, moving around Kira with her movement giving the youngster a little trouble early on.
Kira trying to step up as well but the punches smacking off her face drive her back behind her guard, with Troian pounding away at her guard.
A right hook finds its way around Kira's guard to the side of her head, with a left knocking her back a step, letting her push Korasin towards a corner.
Only a shove from Kira allows her to get away into space again, Kira looking a little shell shocked as Troian now is controlling their exchanges, landing the better punches as Kira has to step back.
Now it's Troian who is in control of the ring centre, keeping the normally aggressive Kira struck on the back foot, with her punches banging off the gloves of the youngster.
Who looks frustrated as she is looks for a way inside, taking several punches to her face as she dips down, before she uses a shoulder roll to dodge Troian's straight and steps in with an uppercut that knocks her opponent back.
Kira's demeanor changes as she forces her way in tight and digs her fists into the abs of Bellisario to force her back.
The Thundermans star finishes the round on the front foot after a bad round for her, the bell rings with the girls bumping into each other on the way to their corners.
Kira looking annoyed as she sits down on her stool, her face is marked up now with Nadia looking to clean her up and get her up for the next round.
In the PLP corner, Troian is smirking as if to say "what did I tell you?" As Nia fist bumps her and tells her "keep this up and Van Camp will be crapping herself facing you"
Round 5:Kira looks to push forwards to repay Troian for the last round, she is too keen though as Troian is counterpunching her to her face.
A right across the lips of Kira bursts her body lip, making Kira cry out and is forced to cover up as Troian forces her back.
The Pretty Little Liar is forcing Kira back around the outside of the ring, with Kira keep trying to come back at her with hooks swung at the head of Bellisario.
One manages to catch Troian to allow Kira off the ropes; Korasin stepping forwards to trade on the inside, the girls nearly clash heads as they work away.
Kira backs Troian up with several punches working the abs of the former champ, Troian having to step back to open up space.
But as Kira looks to swing a right hook at the head of Troian; instead she misses as Troian moves her head out the way and counters with a right hook to the temple of her smaller opponent.
Kira looks a little shook up by the punch, THE FOLLOW UP UPPERCUT HAS HER SPRAWLED OUT ON THE CANVAS!
The crowd stand and roar as Troian almost dances her way to a neutral corner 1...2...3 Kira shakes her head as she pushes herself up to all fours 4...5....6... Now Kira is up to her knees 7...8..9 pushing herself to her feet just in time not to be counted out with a relieved look on her face.
Troian of course looks to finish this when they are told to fight, problem is though is that the bell rings not long after she starts working the guard of Kira, causing Troian to look annoyed.
As Nia points out to her as she gets back to her corner and sits "you have gotten this fight totally under your control now, the scorecards in your favour and she is ready to topple at any point"
Kira meanwhile has her head down as she gets back to her corner, Nadia shouting at her as the Bonzo cutman works on Kira "get your head in the game, I know that had to hurt but this is far from over"with Kira nodding.
Round 6:Troian comes out as expected on the front foot; measuring Kira up with her jab as the youngster has to stick on the defensive for now.
Each time she tried to load up on her punches; Kira reminding people of her dance training as she needs to bob and weave to dodge till she feels back to herself.
Several punches do manages to strike Kira to the side of her head, Troian looking to add a right hook that sails over Kira's head.
With the Bonzo girl trying to get in close to go back to work on the body of Bellisario, but after a right hook catches her and knocks her to the side a step, Kira is back behind her guard and on the defensive.
Troian looks annoyed as she tries to keep Kira under thumb, drilling the gloves of the smaller woman with her jab and straights, with hooks just about missing.
One missed hook allows Kira to counter with an uppercut that knocks Troian's head back, Kira showing she has plenty more fight in her as she gets into her opponent's face.
The girls clash heads as they slug it out in close, with the referee separating both and checking they are not cut, before warning them to keep their heads up.
Troian though might have caught a lucky break as she can work on the outside again and forces Kira back behind her guard again.
The round ending with Troian looking happy enough that she has Kira under wraps, but as she tells Nia "I want that insolent bytch at my feet"
While Kira is cleaned up in her corner, blood running onto her jugs from her bloody lip as Nadia tells her "you need to get into this fight now! You are behind on the scorecards and all the while that c*** is growing more confident by the minute!"
Round 7:Kira is on the back foot again early in the round, needing to show off her defensive skills again to dodge the punches aimed at her head.
Now it's Troian finding herself being counter punched by her opponent, something that forces her to start boxing on the outside again with a frustrated look on her face.
That gives Kira her opening to recover and step back in to fight Troian in close again, the girls going for it as they throw stiff punches and keep their feet planted more.
The crowd is chanting both fighters names as Troian lands a right across the lips of Kira to make her cry out and need to step back.
Kira needing to get back to moving her head as Troian tries to plough her to the face with straight punches, several finding their mark to keep Korasin on the outside.
A right across Kira's face allows Troian to start knocking her towards the ropes, Kira needing to clinch up with Bellisario to stop the assault she is under.
The referee needed to pry them apart as Troian is whispering "you're mine little girl" with Kira looking pissed off as the girls glare at each other.
Troian looks to get back on the march forwards, Kira though dips under a straight and buries her fist into the gut of her opponent and an overhand left cracks Troian across her face.
Kira is bashing Troian back as the PLP fighter needs to cover up, Kosarin going straight for the body as Bellisario looks to be grimacing with each punch.
The bell rings with Kira letting her emotions out by shoving Troian, telling her "I am far from finished you f***ing bytch!" Which if not for the referee getting between the fighters, they'd be continuing to go at it.
Their coaches pull them back to their corners, telling them to calm down as the fighters tell their coaches what they would do to their opponent if the gloves were off.
Both are feeling the effects of the fight now, Kira's cheeks are puffy, her lip is bleeding still, while Troian has red marks over her body and she looks to be starting to breath the harder of the two women.
Round 8:Both women come out quickly to exchange punches in the centre of the ring; Kira looks to be getting the worst of it as Troian smacks her on her lips with two cruel looking punches that make her cry out.
Kira retreats back quickly with her guard up as Troian hunts her down, the veteran is too focused on the chase as she swings a right that Kira dips under and comes up with an overhand right that turns Troian's head.
Then Kira pounds away roughly around the waistband of Troian, who cries out and retreats, Nia not looking happy in her corner as she tells the referee "tell her to keep her punches up!"
The referee evidently happy with the placement of the body punches as Kira continues to drive her opponent onto the rope with pounding body punches.
Troian firing back as her back hits the ropes, both landing vicious punches in what can only be described as a brawl, Kira putting her head under her opponents chin and bangs rights and lefts under the ribs get the sweet sounds of loud gasps.
Till Troian shoves her back and moves off the ropes, Bellisario's footwork doesn't look as quick but her punches still look to have a nice sting to them as she catches Kira onto her face with several punches to keep her back.
Till Kosarin parries a right cross and lands a piercing right to the abs of Bellisario to make her groan, with two cross punches up top to knock her opponent back another step.
Troian stuck on the defensive as the round comes to an end with Kira looking to have gotten control of the fight now.
Worrying for the PLP corner as Troian hears to her corner and sits down, Nia complaining to the referee about what she deems low shots as Troian is being worked on.
The referee saying they are legal and warns Nia to get out before she is ejected by him doesn't help her mood on the matter.
Meanwhile Kira has a small smirk on her face, she is starting to feel the momentum flowing through her as Nadia tells her what to do now that control is swinging her way, with both of them seeing that the PLP corner are getting scared.
Round 9:Back out to the ring centre come the fighters, circling early on and trading stiff jabs as they measure each other up.
Troian takes early control with a double jab smacking off the lips of Kira to make her back up, then landing another two punches across the face of Kira to back her up.
The bigger fighter looks to be trying to keep Kira at least pinned back behind her guard as she works, maybe hoping to either catch her out or take this the distance.
But Kira backs up towards the ropes, as Troian follows; the youngster sidesteps her and digs a straight into the side of her head.
Now Kira is forcing the issue, dipping under punches and banging away to the body of Troian, making Troian groan out and back up.
Both Kira and Troian trade single punches as Troian works off the back foot, hoping to catch Kira with a big counter punch.
A feint by Kira puts up the guard of Troian, which allows Kira to tee off on the body of her rival, making her cough and get bullied onto the ropes, TILL TROIAN TAKES A KNEE FROM THE POUNDING HER BODY HAS TAKEN!
The referee has to nudge Kira back as she looks ready to beat Troian to her back 1...2....3 Troian spits her gumshield out to breath easier 4...5...6 Troian looks up at the referee as she times herself 7..8...9 milking the count it seems as she stands up in time to beat it.
Before Troian can continue, the referee orders her to get a fresh gumshield in, which has Kira complaining and Nadia jumps on the ring apron to complain, with the referee ordering her down.
The round continues with Kira hunting down Troian, who is able to get her punches to land clean to the face of Korasin to keep her back as the final few seconds of the round tick away till the round ends.
Both women trade several insults before they head off to their corners, both look beaten up but they look determined to win this and get that title shot.
The fighters are patched up and final rousing speeches being made by their coaches, only the final round to go so it is literally now or never for them.
Round 10:Most times you see fighters touch gloves to show respect for their opponent taking them this far in a fight, no respect here it seems as they get straight to work.
Troian boxing on the backfoot, maybe thinking she still has a lead on the cards, though it's hard to tell after the knockdown she suffered.
Several punches catch Kira to her face as she tries to get in close, knocking her head back and blood and sweat into the air.
But Kira throws a few feints to make Troian move towards a corner without realising evidently and when she does make her move of slipping under a straight punch, Kira is about to land a vicious looking right to the gut of Troian to make her cry out.
Kira pounds away at the body of Troian, who tries to fight back as the fighters start throwing everything and the kitchen sink it seems to win this fight.
Those body shots though seem to be taking there toll on Troian; she is howling out with pain and her punches are slowing down, till she desperately tries to clinch up.
But Kira steps back and throws an uppercut that rocks Troian back into the corner, her gloves not doing much to protect her as Kira just keeps throwing body shots, TILL TROIAN COLLAPSES TO ALL FOURS!
The crowd look stunned as Bellisario spits her gumshield out 1....2...3 the noise in the arena is deafening as Troian fans begs her to stand, while Kira fans tell her to stay down 4...5...6 Troian cradles her body and rolls to her side in the fetal position 7...8...9...10 admitting defeat and being counted out!
Winner Kira Korasin KO Round 10After:The meteoric rise of Kira continues in by far her biggest fight of her career so far, now though she has a title fight to look forwards to!
The emotions right now get the better of her as she falls to her knees and sobs tears of joy into her gloves, the crowd chant her name as Nadia rushes out to congratulate her fighter on this amazing win.
While Troian has tears of her own, hers are of pain and defeat though, her eyes locked onto Kira as she lays on her side catching her breath.
Nia is beside her, telling Troian "she got lucky, those punches were too low, I mean that referee is blind but you know what babe, you will be back on and that bytch will suffer"
Getting helped to her knees; Troian nods at Nia, who wipes the tears away from her eyes and helps Troian with her gloves.
Kira meanwhile is standing up with a little help from Nadia, her eyes lock on Troian as all the hurt things she got hurled at her by Bellisario comes back to her, making her head over to her defeated rival.
"So do you still think I am some dumb kid you stuck up bytch!" Roars Kira as she gets near Troian and is reaching out to grab her by her hair.
When Nia shoves her away and tells her "you cheating c***! Don't you dare touch her! You didn't earn walking her!" Leading to Kira and Nia getting into a verbal war as fingers poke into chests and threats are being made.
Nadia comes over to add to the trouble as she calls Nia "you stupid s***!" With the referee waving security into the ring to stop these women brawling as tempers are frayed, leading to pushing and shoving.
As security gets between them; Troian tells Kira "when you fail to win the title, after you are finished crying in your pillow like the little kid you are, I expect my rematch!"
Kira tries to shove her way through security to give Troian her rematch now as Shay Mitchell comes from the back to help out Troian out the ring.
While shockingly to some; Evangeline Lilly off her own win earlier rushes into the ring to back up her former stablemates Kira and Nadia in case of any funny business with the Pretty Little Punchers.
There's a tense moment between Evangeline and Kira as once Troian and her crew are gone out the ring and heading up the ramp, the two former stablemates circle a bit and look ready to go for each other themselves.
Evangeline though disarms the situation by telling Kira "you better win that title, I told the world I bet on you to do it this year" with Kira nodding at her and Evangeline leaves the ring and getting a hug from Nadia as thanks for helping out.
Though some pundits wondering if Evangeline and Kira will get back into the ring together sometime judging by their tension still, something that will probably last till Evangeline hangs up the gloves herself.
After all that's happened, Kira looks a little shocked when the referee finally gets to raise her arm for the crowd, a big grin on her face as she flexes her other arm and the final sight before the cameras go off is of the number 1 contender smiling as the crowd chant her name one more time, can she win the title as Evangeline says?
