PART I:
It’s the first contest of its kind, with swanky Aussie blonde Georgia Mae Gibbs taking on Victoria’s Secret sweetheart and newest Sceej addition, Taylor Hill, for three back-to-back events in a marathon combat spectacle. IRONWOMAN rules apply: the first round starts off harmlessly enough with a best of 3 arm-wrestling contest. A raised platform already in the middle of the sand dunes with another mini-table raised in the center to place those straining biceps.
We are of course on sunny Muscle beach and already the crowds are gathering to see the kickoff. Music blasting through the speakers signal the arrival of our first participant: Taylor Hill met with a chorus of hoots and cheers as she parts the curtains, emerges with a big smile, brandishing her black bikini-wrapped toned figure for a brief moment, before cheekily covering up with a white shawl.
“This is definitely gonna be fun,” Taylor beams to reporters once she hits the beach proper and they’re milling about to greet her. “It’s a good chance for someone new like me to get my name out there. Georgia too, of course, regardless of who wins today… but I have a good feeling that I’ll be the one who comes out on top.”
Her opponent would definitely disagree with those sentiments, and here she comes now with another blast of music and flourish of curtains, stylistic contrast with her opponent by coming out in a tight, bright red bikini, flaunting that toned body bared for all to see. Georgia exuding confidence as she struts down the ramp, waving to her fans and detractors alike.
“I think it’s a great opportunity to be here,” Georgia begins to reporters, whilst consciously eyeing Taylor milling about the platform behind them. “The only thing I’d disagree with Tay-Tay’s sentiments is who’s the girl who’s gonna win this. It’s obviously gonna be me.”
Right there’s an unofficial but mulling rivalry developing between both girls as they square off one last time for the cameras, standing face-to-face on the sand, their bodies already glistening in the heat. They can’t be more alike in terms of height and built, except of course from the hair colour and accents. The first round begins when both girls kneel down on opposite sides of the raised platform (picture a squared table set atop a set stage for stability and fairness), offer their right arms forward, elbow tips tucked firmly down into the wood with a PAK. Stretching their fingers, the referee orders them to clasp hands, which they do so with a little too much force than necessary SMACK, palms slapping into each other as they prepare to throw down.
Rules simple: first girl with the back of her hand hitting the ground loses... A whistle from the referee, and we’re off! Mutual grunts as biceps suddenly bulge into action, the strain immediately felt on both girls’ arms, also clear as day on their faces as they put all those gym hours into action. As they say with these contests of strength, the first few seconds go nowhere, arms barely budging as locked hands simply sway back and forth from the dual strain. If the ladies are smart, they would be conserving energy at the start, using just enough power to beat the other woman and thereby save reserves for the latter rounds. Unfortunately, these two girls are true and true rookies, and it’s clear from the low growls and grunts, perspiration flowing down their foreheads, that they’re putting in 110% effort right from the get go. Taylor making some early gains with her slightly heavier bulk giving her leverage, but Georgia soon screaming back, literally, strangled shout growing louder and louder as her hand powers back and over the mid-point, finally SLAM - brings Taylor’s fist crashing down with a sudden surge of energy! Round 1 goes to Georgia Gibbs... just like that!
Roar of approval from the crowds as they celebrate with the blonde, who immediately gets up to her feet and yells a pumped cheer to validate their support. Taylor heaving, sprawled to one side of the platform as she massages her muscles delicately, realising the extent of the fight she’s in for and unhappy to have been victim of first blood. When Georgia finally calms down, the Vixen gets a little cocky, taunting Taylor before she returns to the table: “BOOM! How’d you like that, b*tch?” to which Taylor merely growls and shoots her a death stare, places her hand firmly back down on the table top, arm outstretched, daring Gibbs to get back into the action. Georgia of course accepts, eager to put this first contest away with another consecutive win.
Referee blows his whistle only after the two girls restart the second round all by themselves, bodies already straining against each other before the bell rings to start. Like we talked strategies, after that first round of all-out war, the second round is always the toughest, with muscles in the arm all but spent and now straining to catch up. Georgia trying to put in her 120% in this round but her strength simply failing her - there’s a look of horror in her eyes as Taylor’s hand slowly but surely, inch by inch begins pushing hers backwards. Not even another shrill scream from the Vixen can save her this time. past the point of no return, Taylor has the momentum of gravity on her side, slamming Georgia’s fist down the other side of the table with a decisive BLAM! and taking the second round quite comfortably!
“F*CK YEAH!” the brunette shouts, adrenaline pumping, but the release of pressure a relief to them both at this point. Of course, the crashing look of defeat on Georgia’s face all the more cherry on top of the cake, but both girls are already panting hard, arms sprawled across the table as they struggle to right themselves back into position.
“1-1, Georgia. You really think you can take me?” Taylor wheezes through curled lips as she plunks her arm back on the table for round 3.
Georgia however learnt her lesson, doesn’t reply, slowly begins to sit back up, wincing as she tries to straighten her own arm into position. Crowds goading the two girls on, and this time they savour every moment to recuperate before the ref blows his whistle again. Eager to best each other, the girls lock fingers and TUG against each other, but it’s clear that their strength is all but gone at this point due to the non-stop action. Their faces start turning red as the blood rushes upwards. Their locked arms start shivering from the forces exerted on it, and of course the grunting and yelling only growing louder and louder as both blonde and brunette remind themselves that they NEED to win this…
“Give UP, Taylor… You can’t beat me…” Georgia wheezing through bated breath, when she should be conserving her energy instead.
But it’s clear that Hill has no reply of her own because while she’s putting all her focus into beating this cocky blonde, she can’t seem to hold on for much longer either… With a wheeze and cough, Taylor’s hand inching further and further away from her. She feels her resolve evaporating away, victory walking away from her panicked eyes… with a final desperate YELP, her body can’t take it any longer, and Georgia Gibbs BANGS the back of her hand onto the table - Georgia takes the third round and the wins the first contest!
Taylor obviously disappointed, but quickly led away by members of her team. The two girls get a half hour break before the start of the second round of beach wrestling. But before Taylor exits the stage, she breaks away from her entourage, makes her way direct to Georgia, who’s still waving and smiling to her fans. Everyone holds their breath, expecting a showdown, but the two girls go nose-to-nose in an intense staredown, Taylor hissing into Georgia’s face that this ain’t over yet, whilst Gibbs grinning back, lips an inch apart, poking a finger into the brunette’s chest and telling her to turn tail and to go rest up best she can, because she’ll need all her strength for the next round.
Ring officials delicately getting in between both of them and separating them without any further drama. It’s 1-0 in Georgia’s favour, folks! We’ll see you very soon for the second round!
