Our reporter and his blonde companion enter Front Street to find, as usual, Rufus, Avril, and the Man In The Hat waiting for the ladies to return from road work. At the latter's feet is a suitcase.
Tess (smiling): "Glad to see you made it back from Norman. I though that game was never going to start."
Rufus: "Fortunately, he has a plane."
Avril: "Don't leave home without it."
Man In The Hat (laughing): "It DID take awhile to get started, but, it was worth the wait."
Rufus: "The Buckeyes looked pretty good."
Man In The Hat: "It's a long season, but, yes, they did."
Reporter: "Let's talk about the FCBA and the New Blood Flyweight tournament."
Avril: "I can tell you that both Spreitler and Moretz have been on our radar for quite some time."
Reporter: "How so?"
Avril: "Both as possible girls to break in at Asylum and on the short list."
Man In The Hat: "I like both a lot. Moretz is the kind of girl we like. Smart. Talented. Maybe not as physical now, but that will come. Spreitler has the physicals for the weight. She has a ton of potential."
Reporter: "We all know you like Winter. And, obviously, Fanning's a girl who's already gotten off to a good start."
Man In The Hat: "If we had an opening at flyweight, Winter would be high on the list to fill it. Fanning, as you say, has already shown some stuff. Going to be an interesting tournament."
Reporter: "Are you going to be attending Queendom?"
Man In The Hat: "Of course. And, before you ask, no, our position has not changed."
Tess: "How about the body paint card? Is Front Street going to be involved in that?"
Man In The Hat: "It's a definite possibility. If we're invited and we can get a match up that helps one of our girls. I like these body paint things. I think they're an excellent attraction for the FCBA, so, we're all in if it works. Now, get to church. Football at Bazz today..."
Avril: "And, before you go. This is yours, Smackey..."
Reporter (taking the box from Avril and opening it): "Really? Vampire socks?"
Tess: "I forgot to tell you. Cassie and I are expanding our line. Socks are next. And, of course, we're getting our Hallowe'en stuff out now."
Reporter: "I hate football..."
