TESS VALMORE
JENNA COLEMAN/BUSH Coleman is 2-0 on the year and five of her last seven. Bush won her first bout of the year and has won five of her last six with her only loss being to Bennet in a title fight. Bush has a two inch height advantage, but is the older of the two. Should be a good bout. I will have to go with Coleman to win
PEREGRYM/KENDALL JENNER Missy has an off year last year going 3-4 in conventional bouts. She lost twice to Lawrence and once to Yustman. She did beat Ambrosio and Taylor Cole. Jenner had a seven fight win streak broken in the February PPV when she lost the lightweight title to Strahovski. I like MIssy but Jenner is heavier and three inches taller. That will be the difference. Jenner by a KO
LOVATO/CYRUS Experience and size are not important factors in this bout. Lovato has the better record and had a four fight win steak broken by being held to a draw in a bout earlier this year. Cyrus broke a four fight losing streak in her last bout of 2017 The two have fought twice before with each winning one. I have to go with Lovato to win by a KO
V. HUDGENS/M. WILLIAMS Hudgens is a three time champion and has a good chance to get into the Hall Of Fame if she can maintain her current pace. Williams is an eight time champion and is already in the Hall of Fame. The two have fought five conventional bouts with Hudgens winning three. Williams is a couple inches bigger, however, Hudgens is considerably younger. I am concerned about the wear and tear on Williams in her 204 fights. I am going to take a chance on Williams to win, but I am not overly confident in that
BENNET/VANCAMP This is for the bantam title, Bennet is the current title holder. She is on a ten fight win streak with four to those wins being in title defenses. Her last loss was to VanCamp which she avenged by taking the title from VanCamp last year. This will be the rubber match between the two. VanCamp has held the title three times and has a three inch height advantage. I am going to have to go with VanCamp’s size and experience. I know it didn’t help her once, but I am betting it will help her this time
STRAHOVSKI/WINSTEAD You can’t get any better than this. The best rivalry going in the FCBA by far This will be the fifteenth conventional bout between the two and I think the score is 7-7 Strahovski who is slightly larger than Winstead, leads 2-1 in title bouts. I have great admiration for Winstead but I have to go with Strahovski to defend her title. It’s a blonde thing
DECKER/UPTON When I first looked at this bout, I thought “Oh that’s an easy Upton win” Then I looked at the records. Decker has held one lightweight title Upton has held two welter titles. If you take into consideration all the time Upton has wasted in JMDD. you will find that Decker probably has the better conventional record. Upton is slightly larger, but not enough to really make a difference. This could be a great bout ,but I can’t shake my original opinion. This is not a cinch fight for Upton at all, but I think she will win
