TRACTORPULL (OOC)
First let me make it very clear that the No Talent Index has nothing to do with a fighter’s standing or ability in the FCBA. The No Talent Index is completely separate. Kendall Jenner makes our No Talent list, but she has recently proven that she is a very capable lightweight. A fighter can be a great fighter and still make the NO Talent Index. It all has to do with their celebrity and how they got there
The No Talent Index is comprised of beautiful women whose seemly only talent is to be beautiful and walk a straight line down a catwalk or look alluring while posing in a bikini on a beach. They are not singers. They are not actresses. They are not scholars. What they do is appear in press day after day in various states of undress. In many cases, they appear more than once. One “celebrity” actually had 13 different stories in the Daily Mail on the same day. It is known, some notify paparazzi where they are going to be. They keep their name in the news. They are famous for being famous. Why else would a “celebrity who has never been in a movie or sing a song show up at the Academy Awards or the Grammies. I guess you loosely could call that a talent and if they make a ton of money that way more power to them, but don’t confuse them with Academy Award winners
Now as to Tractorpull. some of our outlook in probably generational As some know, Tractorpull is rather advanced in age. Tractorpull was started some eighteen years ago as a critic. Along the way we started the predictions, then the reviews and finally we were the first to do rankings. We have had our problems. We once got the second half of a PPV cancelled by something we said and ended up having to apologize. to keep from being barred. I say what I think. I don’t expect everyone to agree. When I comment about a fighter, I very seldom consider her stable. I have no idea what stable Sagra. Robbie or Munn are in. Of course. needless to say, I am aware of the homes of the better fighters and multiple champions.
When Front Street was created it included a male reporter. I approached The Wiz about creating a girl friend Thus Tess Valmore was created and after a couple years they got engaged. Without Front Street, there would probably be no Tess Valmore. Front Street and Tractorpull share characters along with one from Bazz. Creating Tess gave those who disagree a name to complain about.
An interesting thing about Tess as how other managers have added to her description. I originally described her as a young six foot blonde.retired martial arts champion (That’s another story we don’t need to go into) Others added that she was beautiful and another said she was “busty” among other comments about her desirable attributes that is the image today
Tractorpull does have rules We never criticize a fighter’s looks or personal life. We will never quote a fighter in a conversation with Tess unless we have the managers permission. We do rare interviews but they are done differently form most. We just pose the questions. The managers provide the answers. I put the interview together and send it to the manager for approval before posting. We never ever criticize an author’s writing
We have opinions not commonly shared. We have opinions that don’t want to be heard because they suggest that the FCBA has problems. We have taken our share of complaints and disagreements. It reality, it been a blast
