Emily VanCamp versus Ashley Greene

BEFORE: Despite these two being on the upper echelons of the bantamweight division, this is the first battle between this powerful blonde and brawny brunette - though hearing their rhetoric, it might be surprising if it’s the last time between these two!
Ashley beaming, though it doesn’t exactly match her eyes which are cold and determined, “Emily has had her time on top, but I’m going to say that time is coming to an end. It’s time for somebody else to bring the bantamweight title, home to Odds and Ends where it should belong. It belongs around my waist, not Chloe’s and not around Em’s. I want what’s mine and if it takes VanCamp crying at my feet to get there, that’s fine with me.”
Emily smirking, her eyes sparkling with mischief, chuckling, “My time as one of the best bantamweights will come to an end. The only one who is undefeated is Mother time, but time is one that I’ve got plenty of. I’m not going anywhere except right back to the ring against Chloe freaking Bennet. My year is going to start off by putting a stake into the aspirations of this Twilight tramp once and for all!”
Ashley in her own signature black triangle-cut bikini, black gloves, shoulder-length hair loose - Emily wearing a bright pink bikini with matching gloves and blonde hair in a battle bun.
During R1: Greene going right at the blonde - Ashley with the left up around her ear, dips in low, then throws her weight behind thumping right hands to the meat of Emily’s midriff. Big blonde beaten backwards - she’s shocked to be up against the ropes, taking punishment. Nice work from Ashley - she’s fighting off Van Camp’s chest, crouching low, swaying side to side and pulling haymakers into Emily’s body and biceps.
R2: Emily ineffective on her heels last round--this round she gets on her toes, starts pounding up the middle, doing her most confident number on a stubborn Greene. Ashley on the outside, rammed onto her heels just by the jab and shaken whenever Van Camp can fit that bashing right between the gloves, Emily showing nice hand speed for a big woman, and she’s swatting hooks off the jab, confusing Ashley’s forward defence. Van Camp’s power evident - punches are moving Greene, buffeting her off balance. Punishing shutout for Van Camp as Ashley steps along the perimeter, hands up in hopes of blunting the incoming.
R3: Emily busier, really busting Ashley up the middle with battering ram one-twos - Greene picking her spots however, coming in with that left on her ear and scooping blockbuster right hands into the blonde’s solid gut. Van Camp showing big woman savvy, palming up on the shorter girl’s shoulders or arms, pulling and spinning Ashley off balance to prevent sustained inside fighting from the veteran.
R4: Ashley having some success jabbing with the taller girl - straightening Emily up and making her hesitate - Greene able to step in that booming right to the breadbasket to good effect this round, By the middle minute - Van Camp’s up straight against the ropes, making panicky pushing moves as Ashley goes into a slick bob and weave. Greene looping lefts and rights around the blonde’s guard, clocking Emily’s jaw, then a driving right to the midsection puts her rival wobbly butt! Ashley just ramming home the blow, finishing up with her right shoulder against Van Camp’s chest, heaving the blonde back into the ropes as Emily sobs out loud in pain. Bruising beat down to the bell - Van Camp wilting forward - Ashley palming the girl’s biceps, then walloping away with either mitt up underneath or behind the elbows. Van Camp finishes up blubbery, stupefied as Greene hammers out strong points this round.
R5: Hurting Emily goes back to that heavy, accurate stick - Ashley punished, kept outside - all she can do is keep her mitts up, step along the perimeter and wait for openings. Van Camp spearing Greene at will, keeping the brunette to one or two lunging shots, then palming, pushing, or spinning the smaller woman off. Van Camp repeatedly warned for these tactics, but it’s a good recovery round for the blonde.
R6: Ashley rolling with Emily’s right, answering back with that stuffing right hand to the meat of the belly--Van Camp grimacing, giving ground--she just doesn’t like it down there, Classic gritty Greene effort--she gets her head under Emily’s chin, hands pushing Emily’s biceps back, then heavy and hard to the belly as the blonde’s hips shunt back. Good sweaty pressure applied--Ashley mauling her girl, pinning her to the ropes, outworking Van Camp in the inside. It ain’t pretty, but it’s more points for Greene--she’s all even with the heavily favored blonde after 6.
R7: Pitched battle as both women have their moments, Van Camp getting her way when she can ram the jab home--she’s busting Ashley up something terrible--Greene in her heels, getting chewed up early, Middle minute, Greene getting low, weaving the jab, driving into Van Camp’s midriff with that aggressive body shot, and once in, brunette keeps working as the blonde looks to palm-up rather than punch. Down the stretch, Van Camp re-takes the initiative, knocking on Ashley’s face with that bashing stick and a HARD straight right hand has Greene stepping in fence post holes. Emily stays on her, cuffing the hook and DRILLING straight rights--sudden eruption of lefts and rights has Ashley in stupor! Greene battered to the ropes--hands up, but ineffective as punches hammer into her jaw and face. AND THE REF STEPS IN! Greene stopped out at the ropes--TKO7 Emily Van Camp.
AFTER: Ashley still slumped into her corner even as the blonde mounts her own corner, bellowing with excitement as she takes a moment to celebrate this tough win. Emily then hopping off of her corner and moving towards her brunette opponent with a practiced, confident saunter. Emily just fixing her opponent with a hard-hearted, cool stare as she just reaches out for Ashley’s hair. Forcing her to look up into her eyes as the referee and fellow Odds & Ends stars watch to see whether there will be a Walk of Shame, but Emily just mimes putting a stake into her heart before smirking and strutting away after one last look into her opponent’s eyes.
Blowing her a kiss as she backs up, pumping a double flex right in her opponent’s vision, then spinning around to face the media, “What did I tell you? Plenty of time left for me and not so much for Ash there. Blondes do it best and so, you can call me VanCamp the Vampire Slayer - right through the freakin’ heart. She wanted what she deserved and guess what? She got it. Now, I’m going to get what’s coming to me and you all know what I want.”
