TESS VALMORE
Here again Girlsfriday has come up with another FNL card for early December.
Once again there are no big names. Instead, we have average fighters who are well matched. I see no fight where one is an obvious hands down winner. Of all the PPV’s that happen now, no one does a better job of presenting even matches than Girlsfriday, From my point of view it makes predicting very chancy, I notice he is now getting some managed fighters into the mix
BRESLIN/MORETZ Both are winners of a new blood tournament. Moretz is 2-2 since wining the honor while Breslin is 0-1 Obviously. Moretz now has an edge in experience. More importantly, she is three inches taller. That is going to be tough for Breslin to overcome, Too tough. Moretz by KO
CHASTAIN/SALDANA I believe this is Chastain’s first fight of her career which began when she was signed by the Dollhouse. I am not big on new fighters and I am not big on 40 years olds, so imagine my opinion of a 40 year old newcomer. All is not lost though. Saldana hasn’t fought in 18 months. has lost her last three and hasn’t won a fight since 2011. Not a bad choice for Chastain. Saldana has the experience and once again there is a considerable height difference with Saldana being three inches taller. Chastain can well win this fight, however I have to go with Saldana to win.
KIM KARDASHIAN/KYLIE JENNER KAOS really has a pair here. Kardashian has managed to take back the number one spot on the Daily Mail No Talent Index from Ratajkowski Kardashian should stick to standing in front of cameras. She is a terrible fighter. She has lost her last four conventional fights while also fighting at JMD. Jenner is nothing like the fighter her sister is and never will be. Over half her fights have been at JMD She has fought and beaten Kardashian once before. She will do it again. Jenner by a KO
VALANCE/E TAYLOR Valance is listed as head trainer for the Metermaids. Nothing like having a head trainer who has lost her last six and hasn’t won a fight since 2013. Taylor is also an Aussie, who managed to escape the clutches of the Metermaids. Probably why she has a 4-1 record in conventional fights. Once more, we have a considerable height difference. Valance has a thee inch advantage. Valance has fought the better competition but I am going to go on a hunch and say Taylor will win
KAJLICH/LANCASTER Back in 2009 Lancaster took the Welter title from Righetti and then lost it to Theron in less than five minutes. In 2015 She won the Welterweight Rival Tournament and then took the welter title from Regan and was hailed as the savior of the welters. Then she lost a non title bout to a lightweight named Strahovski, lost the title to Righetti and hasn’t won a fight since. Now she is pretty much yesterday’s news and has lost six straight. Kajlich doesn’t have the background that Lancaster does. She has never even been considered for a title fight. She has lost her last four. This is a toss up. a 50/50 bout. I am going to take a chance on Kajlich to win
DURANCE/BROOK I have talked about the sad case of Durance. A boxer on her way to the Hall Of Fam when in despite winning her fights, management allowed her nine fights in five years instead of 40-50. Now at 39, her chances are slim. Brook is two time lightweight champion and has been around for 15 years. She is a member of the 100 fight club. She is now also 39 is on the downside. She has lost her last six conventional fights. The two have fought three times with Durance winning two I think Durance will win this one also
MEESTER/RICKARDS This will be Meester’s second bout since leaving Front Street. She lost to Cheryl Cole on last months PPV, Over the last few years she had a excellent record in the protected atmosphere of Front Street. Rickards hasn’t been active having only seven fights in four years. She is younger and bigger than Meester I think Meester’s confidence level has been effected by her dismissal from Front Street. I am going to take a chance on Rickards
OLSEN/RAMBIN Olsen is a member of the dismal Ginny’s Academy. I refer to Ginny's Academy that way because the Academy has had a hard time recently as it’s overall record shows. Olsen once considered a top bantam prospect has now lost four of her last five. Rambin is another that was let go by Front Street. I think this is her first bout since being released. My guess is, that now being unmanaged, her chances of survival in the FCBA are slim, Olsen will be the first nail in the coffin. Olsen wins by a KO
